I'm so glad that you are experiencing God's love, power and care personally in your own life! I don't always see that in other people, so this is really great to see in your life.
Thank you
@2ndTimeIsTheCharm . He is totally real.
My therapist is awesome, my mother (though broken) is the perfect mother for me.
When I was 6 or 7 years old, a woman in the park in Irvine, California told me about Jesus, none of my parents were around. She just shared Jesus with me and I’ll never forget that.
Fast forward to 26, my friend Josh one day asked me if I was happy with my life (during that time I probably was blacking out every weekend, sleeping around with different women, going to clubs and bars…I was miserable) I told him I wasn’t happy. He started taking me to churches around the area and then one night, when he dropped me off at the apartment room I was renting off of Craigslist, he told me about repentance and the sinners prayer. I had no idea what it was but I know I wanted to experience the wholeness that he felt in his body from having Jesus dwelling in him.
So I went up to my room before bed, got down on my knees, looked up the sinners prayer, said it and asked Jesus to come into my heart and it was like Jesus completely cleaned house.
I think that same month, my great grandmother passed away, I was able to buy my first car, we inherited her house and I’ve been living here ever since.
We didn’t have our own house since I was 7 years old.
We were constantly moving around and in motels while my mother was addicted to meth and stripping.
But I still grew up around the wealthiest people in almost the entire United States, even though my family constantly struggled to survive.
We are basically in heaven in comparison.
