Then you would be wrong and should be disagreed with (unless you are referring to 1Thes. 5:21).
If God is so tricky that He allowed the major apostle and co-founder of Christianity
to write wrongly and mislead folks, then we are in deep doo-doo!
yeah Paul is a revelator of the gospel so you have a the foundation preached first by the lord
“And while they abode in Galilee, Jesus said unto them,
The Son of man shall be betrayed into the hands of men: and they shall kill him, and the third day he shall be raised again. And they were exceeding sorry.”
Matthew 17:22-23 KJV
And some other scattered things like
“even as the Son of man came not to be ministered unto, but to minister, and to give his life a ransom for many.”
Matthew 20:28 KJV
Paul’s role comes from here
“But the Comforter, which is
the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name,
he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.”
John 14:26 KJV
“I have yet many things to say unto you, but ye cannot bear them now. Howbeit when he,
the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come.”
John 16:12-13
auo and the apostles were products of that promise from Jesus but you can see Paul’s ministry is one of revealing to the chrich the mysteries of the gospel Jesus preached as Jesus had preached about his death and resurrection on behalf of mankind paying that ransom Paul’s doctrine is all about that offering revelation into what Jesus had said and meant
Matthew 20:28 KJV
and then Paul preaching by the holy spirit after it’s been fulfilled
“For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; and that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:”
1 Corinthians 15:3-4 KJV
His doctrine of course becomes centered on Jesus death and resurrection . There’s nothing new in Paul’s writings it’s revaluation of what’s already been there all along he’s preaching this at his core
“Surely he hath borne our griefs, and carried our sorrows: yet we did esteem him stricken, smitten of God, and afflicted. But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed. All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned every one to his own way; and the LORD hath laid on him the iniquity of us all.”
Isaiah 53:4-6 KJV
you can find the roots of all Paul has to say in the prophets and gospel the difference is he’s a revelator revealing the meanings of the doctrine like baptism earlier we’ve heard that Christian’s are to get baptized into Christs name but later we learn why through revelation
“Know ye not, that
so many of us as were baptized into Jesus Christ were baptized into his death? Therefore we are buried with him by baptism into death: that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life.”
Romans 6:3-4 KJV
Or communion we learn from Jesus to partake of the bread and drink but later pul explains it through revelation
“and when he had given thanks, he brake it, and said,
Take, eat: this is my body, which is broken for you: this do in remembrance of me. After the same manner also he took the cup, when he had supped, saying, This cup is the new testament in my blood: this do ye, as oft as ye drink it, in remembrance of me. For as often as ye eat this bread, and drink this cup, ye do shew the Lord's death till he come. Wherefore whosoever shall eat this bread, and drink this cup of the Lord, unworthily, shall be guilty of the body and blood of the Lord. But let a man examine himself, and so let him eat of that bread, and drink of that cup. For he that eateth and drinketh unworthily, eateth and drinketh damnation to himself, not discerning the Lord's body. For this cause many are weak and sickly among you, and many sleep.”
1 Corinthians 11:24-30 KJV
To understand Paul’s doctrine we need to hear and believe the gospel because it’s revelation of the gospel
We can see Paul’s role if we stick to the Bible and what it actually says eliminating the guess work
