I have, and I don’t see how Paul fails the test. Perhaps you can explain why you think he does, based on the remaining four passages.Fair enough. Then use the examples that aren't Paul which I also provided.
The truth can not abide with those who are deceived.I have, and I don’t see how Paul fails the test. Perhaps you can explain why you think he does, based on the remaining four passages.
Given this is not in the text, how did you come to your conclusion? To fulfill this covenant you as well must put you life on the line.
That’s a high-sounding non-answer.The truth can not abide with those who are deceived.
Given this is not in the text, how did you come to your conclusion?
You have explained the verses out of context without explaining how we must lay down our lives to fulfill the covenant.
- Matthew 16:24-26: "Whoever wants to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for my sake will find it." This verse introduces a central paradox: true life is found by sacrificing the desire for self-preservation. It argues that the pursuit of worldly gain is ultimately meaningless compared to spiritual gain.
- Matthew 10:39: This verse echoes the same theme, stating that the one who "finds his life will lose it," while the one who "loses his life for my sake will find it".
- Cost of discipleship: Jesus' words are a call to endure hardship and persecution for the sake of his message. This concept was particularly relevant to early Christians who faced martyrdom for their faith.
If that day comes you must choose. You have explained the verses out of context without explaining how we must lay down our lives to fulfill the covenant.
Then Jesus was revealing that he came to fulfill the OT message by coming as the Lamb of God to atone for humanity's sins
as the sacrificial system had foreshadowed.
Prove it. Jesus says repent and be baptized. Your spending a lie. Jesus like a lamb was lead to be slaughtered nowhere do the prophets or the words of jesus say this was for forgiveness of sins.
Yes paul was the ring leader of the nazarene sect he infiltrated and led many astray through his gospel which he claimed as his own and not the gospel of Jesus.
Show me where the prophets support this. Show me where Jesus and John teach this.Again you are either raving or trolling, if you do not know the sacrifice of animals was to atone for sins,
and if you are unaware that Paul claimed to preach the Gospel because of Christ's commission on the Damascus road.
Show me where the Mosaic covenant requires this.Again you are either raving or trolling, if you do not know the sacrifice of animals was to atone for sins,
and if you are unaware that Paul claimed to preach the Gospel because of Christ's commission on the Damascus road.
Show me where the prophets support this. Show me where Jesus and John teach this.
Malachi 3:6 declares, “I the LORD do not change. So you, O descendants of Jacob, are not destroyed.” Similarly, James 1:17 tells us, “Every good and perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of the heavenly lights, who does not change like shifting shadows.” Numbers 23:19 is clear: “God is not a man, that He should lie, nor a son of man, that He should change His mind. Does He speak and then not act? Does He promise and not fulfill?” Based on these verses, no, God does not change. God is unchanging and unchangeable.Show me why I should bother showing you anything else, when you reject what has already been shown.
Naw, it is at these points in discussions that I place my bet and wait to collect when I see you in heaven,
because I believe Paul's teaching that arguing (playing verbal ping-pong) is sinful. Happy trails!
And still you don't explain. You've lost the plot.If that day comes you must choose.
Wow. Read Leviticus!Show me where the Mosaic covenant requires this.
My goodness you are lost. The mosaic covenant is not found in Leviticus. Its in Exodus and Deuteronomy.Wow. Read Leviticus!
Leviticus had to do with the priesthood only. You had to be part of the tribe of Levi and the assisted with the Aaronic priesthood. Jesus is not a high priest of the lavitical or Aaronic. Jesus is the high prist of the Malchezidek priesthood which King David established. King David and the Malchezidek priesthood did not partak in animal sacrifice.Wow. Read Leviticus!
