Amen, his blood washes away sins.
We can make this a discussion with nothing in-between, as I love to discuss these things. I am not trying to prove anything. Not at all.
There are many things that I would LOVE to discuss, but I cannot, until I see if someone is there to discuss with.
So, let's discuss this, and make this a good thread.
What I said was that the fire tries the DEEDS of the man. So that any deeds that don't hold up, will be worthless to him. This is the trying by fire.
But what this requires is a solid understanding of baptism. The Lord has not made it 100% clear about this baptism to me yet, so I cannot assume any knowledge about it, neither will I accept any until the Lord shows me.
But he has shown me a LITTLE about the fire as purification. Now, if fire gets onto wood, it will burn, or hay, it will burn, or stubble, it will burn. But silver and gold are purified by fire, not burned. They do not consume away, though they do melt.
So, with this small mind, I cannot assume anything. If it is good to be gold and silver, I desire to be gold and silver (speaking of spiritual things), and if it is bad to be gold and silver, I desire to be wood and stubble. But I want my deeds to stand the fire, so I am sure gold and silver is best.
Because after the smith purifies the gold and silver of its natural elements, he can then beat it and shape it into a tool that he could use to carry out his work. But it has to be purified first.
Many things the Lord gives to reveal to us our old natures and the natures of himself, and the nature of those who abide in him.
May Jesus bless you.
