I believe that it could probably be implied from a biblical sense. Can purgotry be proved from a biblical sense, or is this idea based on, when somebody believes purgotry can be believed, it's on the bases that purgotry makes perfect sense from what they believe the word is saying![]()
lol no one saw my deliberate joke of would that be purgotry or purgatory, purgotry as in you got somebody freed from paradiseI believe that it could probably be implied from a biblical sense.
the belief is the soul needs to be purified. Before going to heaven, as you may have unrepented sins. You sin in your flesh, flesh and blood cannot enter heaven(1Cor15:50) Why would your flesh need to be purged of sin to enter somewhere it is not going to?
I think someone quoted a catholic document that stated all sin, even venial sin must be purged on earth or in purgatory. That would mean, unless you make a death bed confession, you would have to go to purgatory, including catholic popes, Im not sure they allow for that in their thinkingthe belief is the soul needs to be purified. Before going to heaven, as you may have unrepented sins.
Can purgatory be proved from a biblical sense
I guess these subjects strike the very heart, is probably the reason why you responded,No.
Catholics are second generation Protestants. Who were the first you might ask? The apostilles themselves! That's why the 4 major gospels vary in writing style because the people who wrote them are different humans (not robots) who express their unique love for God.
I don't even know why i responded to this but put that in your pipe and smoke it.
I guess i responded because a member here sent me a private message a while ago about their understanding of Salvation which she linked to what the Catholics call 'Purgatory' and she also linked it to a 'graduation ceremony' like getting a college degree.
I found it a bit strange but we're all God's children, even the ones who deny Him, they secretly want His attention.
I believe it's more venial sin than mortal sin to the catholic belief of purgatory .You sin in your flesh, flesh and blood cannot enter heaven(1Cor15:50) Why would your flesh need to be purged of sin to enter somewhere it is not going to?

Another thelogical concept, is from Catholic theology, is can you know your perfect in the soul, when to say such a thing is like saying you have no sin,
And another one I've heard is when your conscience is convicted with guilt, is it a guilt that's lasts a while in a conscience that needs purification more, as in the sense the person didn't repent of there sin, to the person they sinned against, directly to them.
As in his word that's says you should settle disputes between each other, because of the eternal consequence.
I did read one document on another site that said every veneal sin must be purged on earth or in purgatory, but that was only one, and Im not an expert on RC doctrineI believe it's more venial sin than mortal sin to the catholic belief of purgatory .
Mortal sin has to be forgiven before death through a sacrament whilst saved, venial sin can be purified in heaven
So I found an understanding on an understanding belief of purgatory, but I wonder is this Catholic
np, me neither, I'm just challenging the most important ones, as see my post above, post 19I did read one document on another site that said every veneal sin must be purged on earth or in purgatory, but that was only one, and Im not an expert on RC doctrine
