I've taken up consideration of the two verses that come up when I search "obey the gospel."
2Thes 1:8 and 1Pet 4:17 both speaking to those that do not 'obey the gospel,' 'of our Lord Jesus' and 'of God,' respectively.
I've concluded that of the two groups that require that I 'keep with their traditions' have degrees of their own error that they'd like to offer me. One meets on Saturday to keep the "old" tradition, according to Moses', and the other to keep the "new" tradition, according to the apostles' having met 'on the first day of the week. Meanwhile, in reality, there's no real way of escaping God any day of the week.
