As for the adults in the room who believe Ellen White had her head screwed on right, how do you pretend it was ok for Dr Kellogg to pour acid on little girls privates so they would not touch themself? Ellen thought it was good and right but I don't think she submitted herself for the same 'treatment'. Ellen condoned the torture and permanent damage done to these children. Very godly.

In my somewhat educated opinion when it comes to the space between our ears, and as I continue to learn about White, I am coming to the conclusion that she suffered from both illusion and delusionary sensory experiences that, while at first sincere, she attributed to God and thinking she was 'special' to God.
I do not think that a sad majority of people fully understand the enemy of God and all who belong to Him. In later years, White also plagerized alot of content from others. People close to her observed and reported on her behavior.

What's so hard about understanding the scripture.
She had a traumatic head injury and what followed is sadly revealing of the original damage that she incurred. She drifted in and out of a coma for weeks after the injury; bled profusely and was unable to retain things she had previously learned.
As one ex-SDA member put it:
traumatic brain injury could cause vivid dreams, vision and hallucinations, and that Ellen White was simply mistaken, OR that the all knowing creator of the universe picked Ellen G. White personally, in order to give her cryptic visions and messages, because god himself can't or won't divulge this information to the whole of humanity at the same time, so that we could all experience the divine messages at the same time? I'm sure you ex SDA people can guess what type of answers I get. Answer: "It was divinely handed down to her." That's more reasonable?
Brain injuries
It becomes obvious that White did actually have some severe side effects from traumatic head injury she suffered as a child.
So you are fine with torturing little girls as per White and her doctor? Granted they probably don't do that anymore, but that is a part of the doctrine if you actually acknowledge White, which SDA do. You must not be eating protein either. soy is not actually good for you.
