if you can actually answer the question?
I've already provided to you the source for knowing if works are good, you just missed it.
Matthew 7:15-20
Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves.
Ye shall know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes of thorns, or figs of thistles?
Even so every good tree bringeth forth good fruit; but a corrupt tree bringeth forth evil fruit.
A good tree cannot bring forth evil fruit, neither can a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit.
Every tree that bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire.
Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them.
God's Word teaches the difference between good fruit and bad fruit.
You said "This is probably why you don't understand it so well. You're reading it as if you wrote it."
That's a lie and nothing more than your opinion not based on what God's Word actually teaches.
It's time for you to put away childish things and stand up and walk like a man!
I just thought it was a good example of when the law applies to some while it doesn't to others.
There is no law that says people are required to get married in order for a couple of be recognized legally as man and wife.
At least in the state where I live.
How about a person who lives under the law and still be right under grace?
The grace of the is not offered to those living under the Law of Moses.
One must become a born again Christian under the New Covenant to have grace.
Isn't living under the law still living after the flesh?
Galatians 5:4
Christ is become of no effect unto you, whosoever of you are justified by the law; ye are fallen from grace.
Have you considered becoming a born again Christian yet?
You should come on over to the New Covenant. It's the only way to salvation.
