Borax is one of those deep cleaning ingredients that cuts stains, bacteria and prevents mold growth. I think everyone will tell the difference.

I might sound like one of those bots right now because YouTube blocked me from looking at a video on borax because I used big words commonly used by them. 🤔. I had to jump through their hoop to get this.

Do the clothes have to soak first when using Borax? I would probably try this product if you could just add the Borax to the wash and begin the wash cycle. I am looking to up my game in the laundry arena.

For heavily soiled clothes and oily stains you can soak and spot treat with a little paste of it first. Dissolve in warm water first.
It takes a long time in cold water to dissolve and sometimes leaves a residue.

I would look up proper fabrics first. One source said not to use with silk or wool because it breaks protein bonds. I used it anyway for a quick hand wash in a bucket. Then immediately in the cool rinse gentle cycle. Everything looks great, but caution taking chances like that.
The lanolin will definitely be removed.

There's a small neck warmer that I wear in the winter on my neck or like a hat liner. It absorbs oils and Woolite won't get it out much without borax. It kind of replenishes that lanolin. It's non itchy regardless. When I washed clothes and dried on them on the line it all came out 100%.
Lanolin sometimes helps wool be non- itchy and definitely water repellent. If you want to retain those qualities, don't use borax.

I went back to read my post and got sidetracked without answering your question.
Yes, you can use it as a laundry booster without soaking. I like to use cold water washes unless there's a reason to use warm water. To be sure it dissolves, I put it in a bucket first with some warm water. Then I pour it in.
 
Can we call Magenta Beige instead?

Beige is a pretty name come to think of it. Like Paige but with a B.
Isn't beige hair kind of pale blonde? With browny shades?

Also how do you pronounce Magenta? I've always thought it was Majenta, or Madge for short but maybe it's Magenta like Maggie.
 
If you have a ship, you meant to smash the bottle of champagne on the side to launch it.

Just some random fact, in case you ever get called on to launch a ship. Don't smash it on the side of an iceberg.

Good thing about champagne, is if you spill it on clothes, it won't make a noticeable stain.

Unlike red wine - am looking at you.
Melted chocolate is also unfortunate.

Just spilled some sparkling water on my shirt and jeans. Seem like it went down the wrong pipe and I started choking. After 5 minutes of coughing, I'm back to normal.

It's OK, clothes were dirty to start with. Gonna put on some fresh ones.

Champagne is sparkling also but since I don't drink alcohol anymore, I drink a lot of water, fruit juice and coffee.

Like the melted chocolate, the choking on water was unfortunate.
