I have read the Old Testament extensively. It's a good read. I believe that it is hard to understand either the Old or New without referring to one or the other.
Was Judas Iscariot saved, or was he not?

I believe that the Old is a foreshadow of the New . We r the Israelites wandering in the wilderness of Zin , Moses is a type of Christ , our destination ? A land flowing with milk and honey .
Among people who read and believe in the Holy Scriptures, this is what they say regarding the sin of Judas.
Judas sold the Lord Jesus to the chief priests for thirty pieces of silver.
MATTHEW 26:14-16
14 Then one of the twelve, called Judas Iscariot, went unto the chief priests,
15 And said unto them, What will ye give me, and I will deliver him unto you? And they covenanted with him for thirty pieces of silver.
16 And from that time he sought opportunity to betray him.
If Judas's sin was selling the Lord Jesus, didn't he repent of what he had done, considering that he returned the thirty pieces of silver?
MATTHEW 27:3-5
3 Then Judas, which had betrayed him, when he saw that he was condemned, repented himself, and brought again the thirty pieces of silver to the chief priests and elders,
4 Saying, I have sinned in that I have betrayed the innocent blood. And they said, What is that to us? see thou to that.
5 And he cast down the pieces of silver in the temple, and departed, and went and hanged himself.
Wouldn't this fall under what the Lord Jesus said, that everyone who confesses their sins will be forgiven?
1 JOHN 1:9
9 If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
They were able to cast out demons and heal in His Name which is only possible if you have the infilling of the Holy Spirit. No one is performing miracles in just the Name of Jesus because even Satan cannot respond to the Name of Jesus. It only works through the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit is not responding to those unsaved to do miracles and casting out demons.
Jesus did not know them because they chose not to have a relationship with Jesus.
Nothing in Scripture suggests that the Holy Spirit indwelt the disciples before or when they took their ministry journeys. You are building an argument on speculation.
If Jesus said He worked miracles by the Holy Spirit then how would the Disciples be able to produce miracles?
The Holy Spirit dwelt in the Lord's disciples.
ACTS:2:1-4
2 And when the day of Pentecost was fully come, they were all with one accord in one place.
2 And suddenly there came a sound from heaven as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled all the house where they were sitting.
3 And there appeared unto them cloven tongues like as of fire, and it sat upon each of them.
4 And they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance.
Paul and Barnabas, whom the Lord Jesus had chosen and in whom the Holy Spirit dwelt, performed miracles such as healing the sick.

8 And there sat a certain man at Lystra, impotent in his feet, being a cripple from his mother's womb, who never had walked:
9 The same heard Paul speak: who stedfastly beholding him, and perceiving that he had faith to be healed,
10 Said with a loud voice, Stand upright on thy feet. And he leaped and walked.
From the Day of Pentecost onward, the Lord’s disciples, each of whom was indwelt by the Holy Spirit, also performed miracles, including healing various diseases.
ACTS 4:28-31
28 For to do whatsoever thy hand and thy counsel determined before to be done.
29 And now, Lord, behold their threatenings: and grant unto thy servants, that with all boldness they may speak thy word,
30 By stretching forth thine hand to heal; and that signs and wonders may be done by the name of thy holy child Jesus.
31 And when they had prayed, the place was shaken where they were assembled together; and they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and they spake the word of God with boldness.
ACTS 5:12-16
12 And by the hands of the apostles were many signs and wonders wrought among the people; (and they were all with one accord in Solomon's porch.
13 And of the rest durst no man join himself to them: but the people magnified them.
14 And believers were the more added to the Lord, multitudes both of men and women.)
15 Insomuch that they brought forth the sick into the streets, and laid them on beds and couches, that at the least the shadow of Peter passing by might overshadow some of them.
16 There came also a multitude out of the cities round about unto Jerusalem, bringing sick folks, and them which were vexed with unclean spirits: and they were healed every one.
The disciples of the Lord Jesus, whose knowledge of the Lord came through the revelation of God the Father (Matt 16:15-17), were the ones in whom the Holy Spirit dwelt. Because they already knew the one true God and also knew who the Holy Spirit is, they alone were made instruments through whom the Holy Spirit, dwelling in them, performed miracles

Lol.. well searching again about Judas.. believers will tell you.. the bible does not explicitly say.. but Jesus said better he had never been born. Others say .. the bible is very clear he was lost forever.
As for 12... with Jesus and the sweet holy Spirit "the disciples were guided and impacted by the Holy Spirit during Jesus' earthly ministry, but they were not yet "filled" or "indwelt" permanently in the way believers were after Pentecost". Peter and John after Christ rose went up (shouting time) told the.. we didn't do this.. that name faith in that name healed this man. That has never changed. So ..ask Him the Father for the Holy Spirit.. He said it not me

Yeah, we will be in a land flowing with milk and honey. I believe that it's called the Promised Land.
This is where controversy arises among readers and believers of the Holy Scriptures regarding whether Judas was saved or not, for the Lord said that it would have been better for him had he never been born.
MATTHEW 26:24
24 The Son of man goeth as it is written of him: but woe unto that man by whom the Son of man is betrayed! it had been good for that man if he had not been born.
We like to use a term "saved" as if something in our future is past tense....like it already happened. Because God keeps his promises.
Man is the one who is faithless...
And it's causing all sorts of confusion..
Judas believed that Jesus was God's Son.
The personal miracles he, himself performed in Jesus's name....the walking on water....the feedings of thousands of people...nevermind the leftovers.
The multitudes of healings everywhere He went.
But Judas didn't believe in personal sacrifice....
Which makes a LOT of people uncomfortable....for obvious reasons. Because breaking that 2nd most important commandment is a LOT more important than people think.
Just checking that I haven't misunderstood you, because it seems from the part of your post that I have quoted, that Judas walked on water and fed the five thousand. (You say, "The personal miracles he, himself performed in Jesus's name," and then give the examples of walking on water and feeding thousands of people.)
This is where the warning given by the Lord God applies: to discern the truth of God's word, one must not place ultimate trust in any human being.
I would like to emphasize that this applies only to God and His word. When it comes to knowing the truth of God and understanding His word, no human being should be trusted as the ultimate authority.
JEREMIAH 17:5
5 Thus saith the Lord; Cursed be the man that trusteth in man, and maketh flesh his arm, and whose heart departeth from the Lord.
Even a person's own understanding of the Holy Scriptures is forbidden by the Lord to be relied upon.
PROVERBS 3:5
5 Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding.
How can the truth regarding our question to God be revealed—namely, what was Judas's sin, and whether he was saved or not? To whom should we ask this question? The Lord has already given us the answer. We should ask Him alone, so that He Himself may reveal the truth contained in His word.
Rather than relying on other people or on our own understanding, we must seek the answer from God, for He alone can reveal the true meaning of His word.
JAMES 1:5-8
5 If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him.
6 But let him ask in faith, nothing wavering. For he that wavereth is like a wave of the sea driven with the wind and tossed.
7 For let not that man think that he shall receive any thing of the Lord.
8 A double minded man is unstable in all his ways.
He was just present when those things happened....but he was one of the 12 in the sending of the 12....and he personally healed the sick in Jesus's name..
There is no specific Scripture verse that names Judas Iscariot personally healing a specific individual. They were sent
out in twos, given the power to heal and cast out demons, but we are not specifically told Judas did any of that.
Jesus knew from the beginning who did not believe. That was in reference to Judas. I know you know this
