Actually for middle age women, if one want to look for a guy that is in similar shape as her, such as age, financial stability, health.... that is already like wanting a lottery ticket.

Most middle aged man wants score either much younger girl, or very successful one, that will boost up their status.

Every one want to use marriage as a stepping stone. If not, they would rather be single, Which is very wise. If getting married in mid life will not be any happier than single, then why bother giving up single life?
I understand why you feel that way and I can see why some people become discouraged.

Personally, I'd rather stay single than marry for status, money or convenience. If God brings someone into my life, I hope it will be a kind, genuine man who values faith, mutual respect and growing together in Christ. Those things matter far more to me than age, wealth or social status.

Yes, but so is anything disposable.

And activists seem to take turns deciding which current item is fashionable to preach to others about in the name of the environment.

Take for instance, plastic straws -- which I do understand -- but now we have paper straws the disintegrate with one sip, and YouTube videos of people going to the ER because they've inhaled shards of glass through "environmentally-friendly" glass straws.

I always wonder if the people hollering about coffee pods are also all using cloth diapers, reusable female sanitary supplies, and never use plastic or styrofoam anything that needs to be throw away (coffee cups, any kind of wrapper or utensil from fast food, beverage bottles, shampoo, lotion, any kind of cleaner, packaged food items...) etc.

If I ever ran into someone who told me I had to give up my K-cup coffee as I'm running out the door on Sunday morning, I'd want to take a good hard look at their own life and see what they're actually sacrificing to "save the environment."

Do I think we should be good stewards of the planet?

Of course.

But the Bible always says this earth is marked for destruction, so at the end of the day, I don't stress about things like this too hard.

I don't drink coffee, so it don't matter to me, but I don't use diapers either.
Reusable female sanitary supplies have been around for ages...so no problems there. I would never go back to plastic sanitary products.
Recycle all bottles and plastics...so...

The thing with those tiny coffee pods is they just one use tiny things so if you having coffee everyday you'll end up using and throwing away a heck of a lot of plastic and it's the TINY TINY little plastics that are way more damaging then say a big container.

Not judging but just saying and I would never mention it if it wasn't important --- to the fish, your food, the environment, and your health.

Straws, can take or leave, but, you couldn't you just sip your drink out of a cup or glass like a normal person? Why would you need a straw. Do you reallllly need a straw? lol.

There's marriages of convenience...what about marriages of inconvenience?

I'd love to hear about those. Who deliberately chooses the bumpy road?

A lot of the plastics used here can't be recycled, and many places don't have recycling facilities available.

I lived in one area where they charged you not only a regular fee for collecting your trash, but an additional feel for recyclables. So not only did you have to go through the trouble of rinsing and sorting everything (many places are strict about things like, the lotion bottle can be recycled, but the pump for it can't, so you have to separate them,) but they charged you an extra fee for them to collect it.

If it costs extra money, most people (here, at least,) won't recycle.

I don't use straws often, but if I'm sipping on a big jug of say, lemon water while working for a few hours, then yes, I will use a straw. The acid in the lemon can wear away your tooth enamel, and using a straw can help prevent or at least reduce the exposure. But I do wash plastic straws and reuse them several times before throwing them away.

I don't hesitate to use disposable things when I think they're more sanitary, serve a worthy purpose for the situation, or will save me thousands in dental work.

What you choose to do is great for you -- I'll do what works for me.

To each their own.

I'm just curious.

All these things you seem to enjoy copying and pasting all over the Singles Forum about how evil and toxic women are...

You've mentioned before that you have nieces and that you love them very much.

Do you send them encouraging propaganda like this too?

I know you're going to say, "Well, that's just the way it is -- it's not my fault that you can't handle it." I understand that this is the way you think.

I was just wondering if you impose it on your family members as well, or if the people here are the primary ones to receive that honor.

And of course, I'm certainly not saying that women don't do the things you're always posting about, but these headlines are always talking about women as if we're all part of one big Stepford wife group who says and does everything alike.

I personally don't know any women on this site who are like what you're always describing, but of course I know they exist.

They're always chasing a friend of mine who's been very successful in his career.

But the thing is, both genders are guilty of doing a whole lot of wrong, but your posts are almost always preaching the evil of women.

Do you see your nieces as being all these things too? (Of course not.)

So why constantly post things about women here as if every woman on this site is doing these things?

P.S. In response to John's "helpful advice" post above -- for any guy out there who might be interested, you are welcome to bring me flowers anytime! However, I know flowers cost money -- that's why I've been working on learning to grow my own -- so you're welcome to save your money and just cut a few flowers outside my door before knocking, if you wish. (I obviously wouldn't want to tell you what to do, lest I be seen as even more of a toxic female.)

Oh no....my SIL and Neices are horrible to the guys interested in them. I tell them repeatedly that they need to wink at guys. They then proceed to tell me how horrible my ideas are....even though their ideas have been quite the disaster. And I laugh at them....because they are young and I'm old.

And when they have finished thoroughly discouraging EVERY guy in this small town from ever asking them out on a date....they move on to other cities to do the same.

Then whine that guys will not ask them out...
I tell them repeatedly to be nicer than they have been to those around them....except the clown haired guy. (He literally has a clown hair perm except blonde....needs a haircut)

And your concept on intonation is not exactly correct either...

Single Guys are not the same as women....they come into relationships with a completely different set of ideas than you womens do.
Different motivations, concepts, and ideas. Guys are usually a LOT more transparent than women. They are just restricted to 3 emotions to express 24 various emotions.
And most single guys are usually very surprised by the information I have posted about single women.
Where YOU might be a bit older than the other 20-somethings out there actively looking for a spouse....there is a couple of groups and circles new to this whole world of "YUPPY DATING" that dont know anything about how to actually go on dates, have and form relationships....all the stuff that you or I might take for granted.

Sure, a LOT of the posts I make are on the subject of manipulation by women....because most single guys are unsuspecting of such behavior most of the time. They are innocent of such notions. (They just want the wife and kids)

However, if YOU (or other young ladies) would like to ever date one of the new crop of guys....who are quickly learning from the things I have posted or by real world experience....then perhaps exhibited behavior that reassures guys that you are not like one of the manipulative women I post about might get them a date....or three.

Only 30% of College age women (HS seniors) are actually interested in having children or husbands......
A 50% reduction in 20 years.

I guess that explains where you got your toxically negative view of single women then.

Oh no....I came by it through old age and experience.

Experience is a HARD teacher and a fool will learn by no other.
But
I live in hope.

I wanna believe in those innocent puppy eyes.....like they can do no wrong.

On paper it all seems good, but when you take out for a test run, you will get the real experience.
If the car is breaking down, falling apart physically, then you probably will have hard time grow spiritually.

Spiritual and physical is very much related. They feed to each other.

Yet in scripture we see God using hardship, pain, and difficulty to draw people closer to and back to him. Maybe we learn more about God when things are tough and not working how we think they should than we so when we have physical comfort and ease.

Talking to you about single ladies it's like talking to racist people about blacks and asians. And mexicans. You think all of them act exactly the same, and you disagree with all of it.

I understand that you seem to be wanting to constantly "educate" singles, but you're always talking as if they're all clones who behave exactly alike, and therefore all singles (especially women) should be somehow socially punished for all their assumed bad behavior (like not being married.)

I appreciate the older married people who come in here and share their experiences -- but the difference is, some of them seem to be able to do so in a way that doesn't sound like they're constantly cutting down women or singles -- so I know it's actually possible.

Truthfully, I wish you just wouldn't post on any of my threads, but of course, it's an open forum and you are allowed to post wherever they want.

But I also realize that there are plenty of people out there who just wish I would stop posting altogether, so maybe we're even in that respect!

And I know that mentioning a person's behavior to them often just makes them do so all the more (I'm guilty of that myself at times,) so please, have at it and keep posting away.

Go ahead and knock yourself out!

I agree that our physical and spiritual lives can influence one another and I believe it's wise to take care of the bodies God has given us.

At the same time, I don't think physical strength or perfect health are the best measures of spiritual maturity. Paul wrote, "My grace is sufficient for you, for My power is made perfect in weakness" (2 Corinthians 12:9). God often does His greatest work through our weaknesses rather than our strengths.

James also reminds us that "the testing of your faith produces perseverance" (James 1:2–3). Sometimes illness or hardship doesn't weaken a person's faith, it deepens it.

For me, a kind heart, humility, integrity and a genuine love for Christ will always matter more than perfect health. Health can change at any stage of life, but a heart devoted to Christ is something truly precious.

Great points!

And for singles who are getting older, finding a partner with perfect health is nearly impossible anyway -- henceforth, the reason why so many older singles are looking for younger, healthier potential spouses to take care of them.

I don't know what the world would look like if we were all able to look past just looks and health and truly serve each other in love, regardless of bad health, but I'm always inspired by spouses who are finding a way to do so.

if I can interject something here.

You are not alone in your assessment.

BUT

What I see a lot of is that many people have no faith or desires within themselves to accomplish any huge tasks anymore.
Ones that seem like only a titan, Hercules or exceedingly wealthy person could do.
It's like most have crushed their own aspirations anymore....

And I'm not talking about just general wealth or status...but a desire for things like baking cakes, or breads, or leather crafts or welding or knife making or anything along those lines....and it does not have to be along the "maker" lines....it can be childcare and instruction or elderly care, or searching for answers to puzzles of biology....

Anything along those lines....the whole desire to reach and discover is MIA out of the current crop of young singles.

We talk about the "Passion " of Christ....Mel even used it in his movie title. But where is the Passion the young people used to have?

The founding "Fathers" of this nation were in their 20"s when they created our nation and fought for our independence. They were nothing but kids....barely past the fetus stage...but their passion carried them. Their wives adored them because of their passions. Various women also had their passions as well....and became immortal through their efforts. Betsy Ross for just her sewing.....but she wasn't the only one who made valuable contributions.

I'm not talking about a few moments of emotionalism....I'm talking about a slow burning fire that produces works of art and literature and architectural wonders and etc

So are you here in Singles because you need more people to dole out advice to and then laugh at if or when they fail?
Nope...
I'm here to tell you what you need to hear....which often is opposite of what you want to hear. I'm laughing at no one. Unless they deserve it for laughing at others.
I understand that you seem to be wanting to constantly "educate" singles, but you're always talking as if they're all clones who behave exactly alike, and therefore all singles (especially women) should be somehow socially punished for all their assumed bad behavior (like not being married.)
Nope....you MISSED it....
I seek to educate young MEN not singles as an entire collective. Huge difference.

Only an idiot would believe everyone is a carbon copy....sure "winds" of generalities and similar attitudes happen in areas....but that hardly makes people clones.

And nationwide in the USA young women are largely uninterested in having children and families....they are spending their baby making years chasing careers that do not satisfy instead of procreation which usually does create a lifetime of unique, enriching relationships. Guys have not changed in their goals in the past 20 years....they are just resigning to do it without women. (No kids though)

Time and age catch up to everyone....even myself which has been a very mobile and unpredictable target. But catch me it has....Zero regrets....currently I have an extremely rich life. I want the same for others. Not an empty life at retirement with plaques on the wall of "employee of the year" and pictures of dead cats on the tables and mantles.

Intonations....
They are everything you have missed in text....
