I'm very sad nobody's picked Matilda yet. She's a wombat! She needs two parents and I'm solo mother. Just because she's different, doesn't mean she's not normal..

Look how cute she is.
Also, she's put on weight. She's now 5 kg.

Ok here are my next 3 pick me's.

1. I have so much knowledge that I'm afraid to do anything anymore because I know all the ways it can and will come back and bite me. Or maybe just bite me immediately. That includes derailing Seoul's threads. :geek:

2. I still have most of my hair.

3. I have an old but not really old convertible. It's great for drying your hair on the freeway! :D

So, like Seolsearch said:

John, when you do that, then maybe I'll reply to the above quote...
(because I do want to reply, just don't want to derail anymore here.)
Thank you for the time you did spend. At the very least it proves to Johnny that soul search is not alone as he claims.

Johnny has me on ignore, so I can say what I really think about him. He claims to be happily married, but he sure doesn't talk like he's happily married.

Possibility 1 - he is unhappily married but he has such a big deal that he doesn't see the trouble in his marriage.

Possibility 2 - he is happily married from his standpoint because he controls his wife with an iron fist, not even letting her get on the internet.

Possibility 3 - he's an incel and lying through his teeth.

There are other possibilities, but those are the ones with the highest probability of being correct.

Seriously considering reading the above...
But weighing in the points:
Do I care?
Will reading it matter in the end?
Will it change my mind or theirs?
Is it going to be entertaining?

Where has Fran gone anyway?
April didn't like it here either
Winds....HATEFUL crowd here....ALWAYS been more hateful than most.
Has moments of fun....

Gotta job tho....
I miss the old one.

She certainly is not!

See, I don't want to derail (too much) of seouls, (or anyones) threads.
But you see, I have kids who are growing up in this current generation that is facing the current decline in relationship.

I KNOW first hand that these girls that people think don't exist are out there, but they are gems well hidden away.
I KNOW firsthand (I have teen boys  )that these young men are feed all this :poop: about how evil women are... heck we women could say the same about men today, because there is some truth to that, but not ALL men fall into that category. (But heck, for a woman to say men are evil would mean we're being eeeevvvviiiillllllll!!!!)

And because I have teen boys and a daughter, I am in this fight of training them up in the ways they should go, and that includes teaching them to recognizing that what they are seeing all over the place, always in their faces isn't what they should be pursuing. Yes, what they see, it's evil! But it's evil because it diminishes God's design for the sexes, it diminishes God's design for marriage.
RUN! Run from it! But don't dismiss ALL guys/gals as being evil based solely on what is being portrayed in the world BY the world.

Then, there is the birth rate crisis! STOP encouraging the killing of the babies!!!
Now, like I said I don't want to derail from the OP topic of the this particular thread (or anyone's really).
So, if someone wants to start a thread on this topic, then I'll gladly put my 2 cents in there (eventually).

1. I have a library full of books...mostly comics because who reads books without pictures?
2. I have dyed my hair a different colour from everyone else so you can surely pick me out of a parking lot of grey and white cars
3. My car has already converted itself into a mobile library, so you can read books while you are driving.

....Zero regrets....currently I have an extremely rich life.
I'm submitting all of your recent posts as evidence against this. Because people who currently have rich and happy lives don't spend a lot of time posting negative things on the internet.

And we've decided the db stands for something else.

If all you have to contribute to them is negativity and negative facts, discouraged young men (who do need good positive role models) are better off without your input. And young women will only be more set against marriage by a man with your attitude.

Want to do something actually positive for young men? Maybe you should help coach a sport, open up a maker's space where young men can build things, volunteer as a big brother to mentor some boys. Literally anything you do in the real world is likely to be more effective than reposting negative and insulting content.

But it's so much easier to complain about something than try to implement a solution isn't it?

Well said.

We all are. I think it comes from enough time to make plenty of mistakes and realizing that we're not going to get around to everything we hoped to do when we were young

We will need to Benjamin Buttonhole you.

Oh wait a minute...isn't Benjamin Button played by no other one than that dastardly Brad Pitt, who nobody is impressed by?
I love Brad Pitt. :D He and I are twins because have the same birthday. 😂 He's older though. I've never seen that benjamin buttons movie but I always hear people mention it. Maybe I'll watch it one day.
