Wrong. Many verses tell us we are saved by faith alone.
How?To the contrary. The thief on the cross proves we do not need to be Baptized to be Saved.
The baptism of the earthly ministry of John the Baptist and Jesus Christ was a baptism of repentance for the remission of sins.Jesus and His Disciples Baptized rople. But nowhere does Jesus say one must be Baptized in liquid water so to be Saved.
OK.Wrong.
You're Roman Catholic,so you will not believe the Bible alone. Fir to do so is deemed wrong by your church.Wrong.
If there were "many verses" you and others would have long ago presented them.
I know of many verses that speak of the need for faith but unlike you I do not surmise them as being all-encompassing.
Nor do I attempt to use them to negate the many verses that speak of baptism as part of the Gospel.
How?
The baptism of the earthly ministry of John the Baptist and Jesus Christ was a baptism of repentance for the remission of sins.
John came, who baptized in the wilderness and preached the baptism of repentance unto remission of sins. (Mark 1:4)
Why submit to the baptism of repentance? For the remission of sins.
Jesus said: "Whoever believes and is baptized will be saved, but whoever does not believe will be condemned." (Mark 16:16)
You are not defending the truth, you are defending a theology.
You assume much and you assume wrong. You're Roman Catholic,so you will not believe the Bible alone. Fir to do so is deemed wrong by your church.
Just as Faith alone is deemed anathema, a curse.
This puts your church as adversary against the teachings of Christ.
When you were sprinkled in your being made a member of that church as an infant, that did not make you a part of the body of Christ.
Baptism , immersion Baptism, does not save you.
It is an outward cleansing, like unto the Mitzvah of Judaism,of an inward cleansing when one is reborn by the water of life,Jesus.
As a Roman Catholic you are not Saved according to the Gospel of Jesus.

I know Catholics. You assume much and you assume wrong.
It is normal for you to promote false teachings. Is this normal for you?
Of course it wasn't....you have an agenda of being right....What you gave wasn't convincing. Sorry.
Hey Trustandobey, are you Catholic? Please tell the little mouse yes or no.I know Catholics.
Someone who ignores Scripture and promotes the falsehood if works Salvation is usually Catholic. You don't deny it outright.
Of course I do. Doesn't everybody? I've never heard of anyone with an agenda of being wrong,Of course it wasn't....you have an agenda of being right....
The issue isn't whether I am right or wrong. The issue is whether you have proven your view that the water in John 3 represents the Law. It doesn't.You can't be wrong....
There is at least one person here who admitted the long preaching posts or threads they share are via AI.For those that don't know where God's pure word is, they'll utilize AI for sure.
I was going to ignore his comment but okay.Hey Trustandobey, are you Catholic? Please tell the little mouse yes or no.
As you said, the little mouse assumes much.
And Bible_Locket, I assume you are Pentecostal since you seem to have esoteric knowledge.
Let me guess...you also have the ability to interpret tongues.
Most people don't hide their denominational affiliation.I was going to ignore his comment but okay.
No. Catholics believe in works being necessary for salvation. Faith alone, just as Christ alone, is anathema. As are the other Solas.I am a member of the Church of Christ. I have never been Catholic.
Post 84 shows Bible_Locket's arrogance.
