If there were "many verses" you and others would have long ago presented them.
I know of many verses that speak of the need for faith but unlike you I do not surmise them as being all-encompassing.
Nor do I attempt to use them to negate the many verses that speak of baptism as part of the Gospel.
How?
The baptism of the earthly ministry of John the Baptist and Jesus Christ was a baptism of repentance for the remission of sins.
John came, who baptized in the wilderness and preached the baptism of repentance unto remission of sins. (Mark 1:4)
Why submit to the baptism of repentance? For the remission of sins.
Jesus said: "Whoever believes and is baptized will be saved, but whoever does not believe will be condemned." (Mark 16:16)
You are not defending the truth, you are defending a theology.

You're Roman Catholic,so you will not believe the Bible alone. Fir to do so is deemed wrong by your church.
Just as Faith alone is deemed anathema, a curse.
This puts your church as adversary against the teachings of Christ.
When you were sprinkled in your being made a member of that church as an infant,that did not make you a part of the body of Christ.
Baptism , immersion Baptism,does not save you.
It is an outward cleansing,like unto the Mitzvah of Judaism,of an inward cleansing when one is reborn by the water of life,Jesus.

Someone who ignores Scripture and promotes the falsehood if works Salvation is usually Catholic. You don't deny it outright.

No. Catholics believe in works being necessary for salvation. Faith alone,just as Christ alone, is anathema. As are the other Solas.
The CofC doctrine of works contradicts the Gospel.
