Depending on what kind of sections they have (I'm not into history but could spend days in arts & crafts,) I would be happy to spend the entire cruise in that library.

I can't always say I'm filled with joy, but I do find a lot of joy in hopefully making the people here feel like they can be part of something fun and uplifting in these threads!
I used to be more of an extrovert and loved meeting new people, but now I've become jaded and would rather avoid people. About 25 years ago I sang a song on stage at a wedding and people were coming up and complimenting me. One even joked that he wanted to be my manager. It wasn't an easy song either, it was Careless Whisper by George Micheal. Don't take my old karaoke vids on here as examples. They were years after when I found that karaoke app and hadn't sung in over a decade. I've since learned from a woman whose been teaching voice for over 40 years (she's on youtube) and my singing sounds a lot better now (I think). I always get compliments from the ones I sing with on the app. Anyway, singing is like doing party tricks. It's a way to get some gratuitous approval, which is always fun.
This sounds like an awesome reason to sing, Zero (nothing wrong with compliments for a job well done!!)
I can't carry a tune in a bucket, and to be honest, I'm not that into music. It takes a lot for me to like a song, and when I do, I'll play it repeatedly for an hour (you can see why I keep any music choices to myself!)
But I have lots of friends who are into music and if they were singing, I would gladly show up to root them on.
Here's to seeing (and hearing you sing) on the CC Cruise!!

The point of these threads is to help people get to know each other, so I'm glad you came back and clarified.

Def an introvert here. Can't imagine singing IN FRONT OF PEOPLE! Or even with people through an app. I have an android, so I don't have to worry about that.
My Dad's a musician and years ago the band he was with was booked on a cruise. He took my Mom along and from their stories it doesn't sound much fun to me. My Mom woke up early one morning wanting to see the sunrise over the ocean, thinking it would be calm and peaceful. Apparently the wind was so strong she thought it was going to blow her overboard.

I'm with you in that I keep my singing to myself (God is the only one who would appreciate it!)
We like to try to have some fun threads in Singles and Family.
If you like hanging out in some of the heavier areas of the forum, we try to be the church potluck/fellowship get-togethers in-between.

Yeah, I got sea sick very bad.

A CC Road Trip would be a great topic for a future thread -- I jotted it down in my notebook of ideas and we'll see what we can do!

That is a beautiful lyberry, but I would not be happy to spend the entire cruise in there. But I would setup some disco balls and strobe lights in there for a dance party!
