We did that before. We took over another thread to do it though.Next thread idea:
"How Many Foreskins Are YOU Worth -- And Whose Would They Be?!"
Somehow, I'm thinking that one would get approved.![]()

Have you got a way-back machine on here?
Noah, Lot, Jacob, Leah, Rachel... All before God laid down that law.
Absalom and Tamar, after God laid down that law, and DEFINITELY not approved.
Well, Dinah's brothers did not approve of Dinah's boyfriend/fiancee because he was not a Hebrew. So they killed him.
David by then didn't have his parents to tell him who to marry when he met Bathsheba and Abigail, despite already being married to Michal, which was arranged by King Saul.
She was worth 100 philistine foreskins as her bride price. David paid double.
I know, but I was going to let it pass. Everybody thinks Absalom because he was the one who started the civil war. Sometimes some things can be let slide.Bible nerd incoming: It was Amnon who pretended to be sick so he could be alone with Tamar and then get her into his bed. Absalom as her full brother avenged her, then started a rebellion and was killed even though his softie dad would have forgiven him.
Dinah's brothers mostly didn't approve of the fact the her suitor decided to take his marital rights before he even knew her or proposed to her (and how could they refuse since she was then "damaged goods" that no other man would want). And they slaughtered the whole town not just her suitor.
What do their parents think??We've watched several seasons of "Married at First Sight." It got so bad we had to stop watching it. The concept is interesting though.
Lol. Judging solely by the content you post, I think it's safe to say you're worth more than your weight in foreskins, Seoulsearch. So how many foreskins were people willing to pay for you?!![]()
Lol. Judging solely by the content you post, I think it's safe to say you're worth more than your weight in foreskins, Seoulsearch. Not sure on how to collect, though. Would you consider substituting for Whangdoodle-skins instead?
I come from a culture (India) where arranged marriages are still in practice, while love marriages are also very common. My parents, some extended family members, and some friends chose for themselves, but I have other family and friends whose marriages were arranged. Some of these arranged marriages are successful, some are not. Some of these love marriages are successful and some are not.
In arranged marriages in India, many families introduce two people but leave the decision of marriage to them. Some of course force it, which isn't right. My family has never and will never force me to marry anyone I don't want to. They are not saved yet, but they know that if I marry, I will only marry a Christian and a non-Indian. So they don't try to arrange my marriage anyway
In my opinion, how you get to know your spouse (arranged or love) isn't important. If God arranges my marriage through my pastor or someone else, so be it. He knows better than me. If He brings this person directly into my life, so be it. All I have to do is seek the Lord to know His will.
Thank God for God. We have Him to guide us. Christians are privileged!
Lol. When I reread it, I'm not sure if it is a compliment or an insult, but it was intended as the former. As much as I'd like to think that's one of the best compliments I've ever received,
, I'm not quite sure how much it will help if added to my dating profile:
"I've been told I'm worth more than my weight in foreskins!!!! ANY TAKERS???" (Or givers, in this case.)
I'm thinking that yes, maybe for the sake of terrorizing just a few less men, I had better change "foreskins" to "Whangdoodle skins" -- jus to reassure any possible suitors.![]()
