Well isn't that just amazing. lol.

Chess champion huh? Maybe you can give me a few pointers, I can't beat this computer on my ipod on the halfway setting. lol.

May Jesus bless you.

Play with complete focus and confidence.

Anticipate the moves your opponent may make.

Lure your opponent into thinking you are making a great mistake (losing queen for rook, etc.) when it's really advancing your position, subtly, yet greatly.

Make each pawn's sacrifice strategic.

Pray God opens your mind more and more to this great game.

---
My mom and dad gave me a talking chess computer, made by Fidelity, in 1979, when in 6th grade, and mom taught me first when in 4th grade, that, too, helped pique my interest. I played and played and played, it was helpful as I advanced from level 1 to level 7 . I don't think I ever won at last level, 8. But the challenge was key, as I played in high school and then in college ,both times against players my equal, who made me expand my game.

Whether you see it or not, you have just witnessed a precious truth concerning our walk with Jesus Christ.

We have to walk with complete focus and confidence.

We have to anticipate the moves of our enemy.

Of course our enemy is prone to mistakes, but he likes to catch us in our mistakes, subtly, yet greatly, advancing his position.

Although, Jesus did say we ought to be wise as serpents, but harmless as doves. :)

Every move we make has to be strategic.

And God opens our minds and even our hearts more and more to his great calling.

So, you understand my position. If someone is on level 1 they can advance past level 1 higher. But it takes that iron to sharpen iron doesn't it? If I were not your friend, I would not want to see you advance.

This is why I posted what I did. We cannot be stuck on the beginners play as pertaining to the ways the world does it. We have to advance on to new levels in Christ. And he opens our minds. That confidence and focus is by faith.

The people who do things the way the world does need to advance, especially Christians. We have to do things the Jesus way.

I hope this is what you understood about what I was saying.

May Jesus bless you.

We agree on the penultimate Truth, God, leading our lives and our following. This faith of knowing belief trumps all else, including the argument of how God works, , or of how God acts, or, even, to some degree, of who God is. It , our life, is all about believing in God and our personal relationship with Him. :)

---
Yes, complete focus...
Yes, Satan does anticipate our moves.

Yes, to all those great truths you said. Amen, Ram.

God is so good and the power of God is so great, infinitely more than any other power on any plane. God bless you for your great truths here spoken to many, including me.

I smell hypocrisy.

YahooNews! said:
For each of the 984 Occupy Wall Street protesters arrested in New York City between September 18 and October 15, police collected and filed an information sheet recording the arrestee’s name, age, sex, criminal charge, home address and — in most cases — race. The Daily Caller has obtained all of this information from a source in the New York City government.

Among addresses for which information is available, single-family homes listed on those police intake forms have a median value of $305,000 — a far higher number than the $185,400 median value of owner-occupied housing units in the United States

Yahoo News compared the average home price of a person arrested at OWS, in NEW YORK CITY and its immediate suburbs, to the average U.S. home price, implying that OWS protesters are wealthy.

This is very poor journalism.

First of all, any 3rd grader knows that housing in New York City and its suburbs is among the highest in the US. A valid comparison would be for the average home price of the OWS protester as compared to the average NEW YORK CITY AREA home price. Duh.

They also did not indicate what % of the people arrested did not own homes at all. For example, let's say they arrested 100 people. Of these 100 people, maybe 40 owned homes, 40 rented, and the other 20 were homeless or had some other living arrangement ("couch surfing", etc.) Of the 40 who owned homes, the median home price would have to be pretty high. Yes. That means 40% of the people arrested were kinda wealthy, when compared to the US as a whole, or pretty average when compared to the US (since housing is so much more expensive in the NYC area). What about the other 60%? See, this report doesn't say. Maybe it was only 10% of the people arrested who owned homes, and 90% were homeless. Maybe only 1 person among the arrested owned a home, at $300K or whatever the price is. VERY skewed statistics. If that was the case, then yes, the "median" home price among the arrested would be that number, but that does NOT mean that most of the people protesting were wealthy ... not even close.

I am disappointed in Yahoo News for reporting so poorly. And even more disappointed in Jimmy for not realizing what a poor job of journalism that was, and not demanding better from the press.

I should also comment: how is it hypocritical to demand better living conditions for the poor even if you're wealthy? I think it is one of the most noble things one can do, to say, "You know what, I have a nice house, more than enough to eat, I donate more than a tithe to charity, and there are still people starving in the streets. This is not justice."

Even if the Yahoo News story had one iota of truth to it (which I doubt), how is that hypocrisy?

Or are you saying that Jesus called us to be hypocrites? I'd rather by a hypocrite for Jesus than a "just" man according to unjust rules.

James 2:14 Dear brothers, what's the use of saying that you have faith and are Christians if you aren't proving it by helping others? Will that kind of faith save anyone? James 2:15 If you have a friend who is in need of food and clothing, James 2:16 and you say to him, "Well, good-bye and God bless you; stay warm and eat hearty," and then don't give him clothes or food, what good does that do? James 2:17 So you see, it isn't enough just to have faith. You must also do good to prove that you have it. Faith that doesn't show itself by good works is no faith at all--it is dead and useless. James 2:18 But someone may well argue, "You say the way to God is by faith alone, plus nothing; well, I say that good works are important too, for without good works you can't prove whether you have faith or not; but anyone can see that I have faith by the way I act." James 2:19 Are there still some among you who hold that "only believing" is enough? Believing in one God? Well, remember that the demons believe this too--so strongly that they tremble in terror! James 2:20 Fool! When will you ever learn that "believing" is useless without doing what God wants you to? Faith that does not result in good deeds is not real faith.

Faith without action is dead, and people are not going to listen to anything we have to say about a loving, merciful God who wants to save their souls if we think ourselves so holy that we are above showing mercy and compassion to those who truly NEED it.

Yes, and, God says to help 'the least of these,' and, I know the mark 9 reference is to 'children,' but don't be naive, as my 8th grade music teacher constantly said, 'the least of these,' refers to anyone having trouble taking care of themselves,. So, if nothing else to help, pray for the people of OWS , that they can see God through what I am sure would be horrific, unsafe (for many reasons) living conditions on the streets of hundreds (no, not just a 'hundred,' and, I know, I know, hard to believe for some) of USA cites all over America. Pray that God shows mercy to this situation and grace, and, most importantly pray, like Jesus, up on the cross in Jesus' dying breathless gasps as a human, feeling enormous, long-felt human pain, 'Thy will be done (Our Father's will).

This too is important to pray this way because of what prayer?

Quiz question for y'all. :)

It is that simple. I would never vote for a jewish revolution that brings mayhem, slaughter to the gentiles and in the end only them end up as the profiteers. This happen in England with Oliver Cromwell in 165x, and with the jewish jacobin french revolution and their emancipation through napoleon and worst the bolshevik revolution and their jewish cheka, nkvd commissars marxist revolutionaries and money from rothschild, bernard baruch wallstreet, jacob schiff loeb and paul warburg which ended up in two world wars where they were substantial involved and were the profiteers while 100 millions mostly Christians have been killed. The main farce is the sanctified holocaust religion that gets in effect after wwii in new form of shoah indulgences for the new established terror regime called israel.
Since than america has been a willingly servant for the jewish antichrist who reject Jesus Christ and his the Gospel till today. Why? Cause judeo christianity has been brainwashed through jewish false dispensationalism and their industrial military complex.Jewish hollywood has become the modern replacment for a foremost Christian Culture. It is time to back to your Christian roots..Otherwise jewish communism will overthrow you as a nation.

I will answer my own question :D

But not just quite yet, but some will know this prayer whether they know the technical name for it or not.

You should pray this prayer daily for yourself and others, and, let me preface the mystery prayer by saying, I will never forget the day my dad, and, mom, at a motel in Regis, Montana, or somewhere similar of our many ski trips and grandma visits, and dad said 'I am going to teach you, guys (10 year old I and 8 year old sis) how Jesus wants us to pray. until now, you have been taught just to say what is on your heart to God. Now I want to teach you how Jesus prayed from His heart.'. Sure, Yeah, I'm paraphrasing but I'm really close to rememberin' :D

Dad: Repeat after me, kids:

My Father in Heaven. Hallowed be Thy name.
Thy Kingdom come . Thy will be done, on Earth as it is in Heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread,
And forgive us our debts as we forgive our debtors.
And do not lead us into temptation but deliver us from the evil one.
For thine is the Kingdom and the power and the glory forever. Amen.

That is indeed The Lord's prayer , for those not yet with the answer . :)

Aside from conspiratorial antisemitism. I'm not exactly sure what the point is that you are trying to make. I've heard better arguments for Masons or the illuminatti, than for what it is that you are peddling.

How Israel is a terror state is a popular, though incredibly misguided, idealization of fanatical extremists and the very FAR left.

Sad, I mean really sad. You blame a race for all of the world's problems. You claim that the Holocaust Killed mostly Christians and that 6 million Jews did not die in Camps across Europe. That website you linked, looks as if it was made quickly in a dark basement by lunatic Rousas John Rushdoony supporter.

I feel sorry for you because you believe this, which means that someone has lied to you.

Lets stop pretending that its anything but covetousness and class warfare.

The have nots and the want mores pitch a tent at the financial centre of the US and beg.

The United States is still the richest country in the world. These protest are nothing more than entitlement beggers staging the necessary implacements before the London style riots occur here in the US.

So what if I don't have free dental, retirement at 50 and a minimum wage of $20 an hour. I'm still better off as an American, where the opportunity exist to change everything, than I would be had I been born in China or sub-saharan Africa or Eastern Europe or Venezuala.
America is one of the poorest countries in the world, because they have turned their backs to God.

Riches to God is not money. It is righteousness, and peace, and joy in the Holy Ghost.

America is poor, and growing poorer.

Sanctified Holocaust Religion?!?!?!?!!!
^I don't even know what that means.

Just because someone wrote something in a book, does not by any stretch make it true. John Chrysostom wrote most of the liturgy for the Eastern Orthodox church, he was antisemitic, does that mean that his positive contribution also justifies his prejudicial racism?

What about Martin Luther, also a fierce antisemitic author, do we take everything he wrote as we took his 95 Theses?

What kind of reparations do you give to the survivors of the holocaust? (of which you deny)

Also: I don't see how that has anything to do with Occupy Wall Street, aside from the fact that you blame the Jews.

There is such a thing as being too heavenly minded to be of any earthly good.

I admit that from the rising of the sun until the place where it sets, the name of the Lord is to be praised.

In this conversation, to mislabel what I was talking about as spiritual bankruptcy or spiritual wealth is really stretching my implications. Really, I almost feel like you have no point to make aside from emotive language, meant to stir things up. Like a preacher who uses melodramatic pauses, long syllables, and exaggerated body language while banging on the pulpit, I'm left to wonder, "where's the beef?"

What is earthly is not good. The things of the earth perish, even the arguments here in this thread. But the Word of God remains forever, whose name will be praised forever into the eons.

Does the need for repentance stir you up? Does the message that Jesus has the words of eternal life stir you up?

Or are you stirred up by the things of the world?

No such thing as being too heavenly minded. Stephen was heavenly minded enough that when he was yet dying, the heavens were opened and he saw the Son of Man sitting at the right hand of God.

Jesus was so heavenly minded that while ye was yet dying he looked to the Lord and said, ''Into your hands I commit my Spirit

But there is such a thing as being carnally minded, and that is what is hostile against heavenly minded.

May Jesus bless you.

The protesters for Occupy Wall Street (the subject of this thread) Are not demanding that the Righteousness or Spiritual wealth of the Richest 1% of America become their own.

As for the rest of it, aside from you telling us how you see what I'm posting, I'm not sure what it has to do with the price of tea in China.

NO one is going to say that what you are saying is somehow wrong or evil but, by miscontextualizing the subject of this thread and this conversation to suit your own ends and paint mine as less than noble, ie Carnal vs Heavenly, I am telling you that you are being foolish.

Its not about being "stirred" by God or by Satan, its about staying on topic. Get off your horse and join the conversation if you have something meaningful to contribute. If you want to quote random verses or make irrelevant biblical parallels, then by all means start your own thread.

There is a time to everything and a season to every purpose under heaven.

Because they are not advocating things that are Spiritual, it is carnal. This is why it I said it is worldly people focusing on worldly things.

The price of tea in China will not save, neither will debates about it. The Words of Jesus save. What is meaningful are the Words of Jesus Christ.

His words are the words of eternal life. That is what I contribute.

The things of God are indeed foolish to those who are carnally minded, neither can the carnal mind mind the things of the Spirit.

To be carnally minded is death, but to be Spiritually minded is Life.

May Jesus bless you.

Be careful not to practice your righteousness in front of others to be seen by them. If you do, you will have no reward from your Father in heaven. Matthew 6:1

“Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or drink; or about your body, what you will wear. Is not life more than food, and the body more than clothes? Look at the birds of the air; they do not sow or reap or store away in barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not much more valuable than they? Can any one of you by worrying add a single hour to your life?
“And why do you worry about clothes? See how the flowers of the field grow. They do not labor or spin. Yet I tell you that not even Solomon in all his splendor was dressed like one of these. If that is how God clothes the grass of the field, which is here today and tomorrow is thrown into the fire, will he not much more clothe you—you of little faith? So do not worry, saying, ‘What shall we eat?’ or ‘What shall we drink?’ or ‘What shall we wear?’ For the pagans run after all these things, and your heavenly Father knows that you need them. But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well. Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own."

Matthew 6:25-34

These are the Words of Jesus. What does this^ have to do with Occupy Wall Street? I suppose it could show a difference between the material and ministerial aim of Christianity and how it differs from OWS.

Carnal= Death, Spiritual = Life. Ramon if we were actually having this conversation in real life I would probably vigorously shake you. Spiritualism and ambiguous phrases which vaguely add nothing of critical substance to the conversation are driving me crazy. It is already an understood notion that Christianity is not OWS. So why then are we holding a political movement to the same accountability and end goal as Christianity?

At the end of the day, we are but figments in the imagination of a Creator who's very existence supersedes any concept we could fathom to measure Him by. So by my calculation to hold the things of God to disagreements among men is either incredibly silly or terribly disingenuous.
