looking for help reconciling the Sabbath with common observation?

I am only to say this as a surface reading.
To understand deeper, it really need holy spirit guidance, and read Bible as a complete message.

1 Thus the heavens and the earth were finished, and all the host of them.

2 And on the seventh day God ended his work which he had made; and he rested on the seventh day from all his work which he had made.

3 And God blessed the seventh day, and sanctified it: because that in it he had rested from all his work which God created and made.

Seems pretty cut and dried that the sabbath is very important.

Actually, we all have the blood line of Noah and Noah was 10th from Adam.
After the flood, God established these commands and conditions with Noah in Genesis 9:1–17:

1. Multiply and repopulate the earth
   Noah and his descendants were told to have children and fill the earth.
2. Animals would fear humans
   Every animal, bird, and fish would be under human authority.
3. Permission to eat animals
   Humans could eat animals for food, just as they had previously eaten plants.
4. Do not eat blood
   They were specifically forbidden to eat meat with its blood still in it, because blood represents life.
5. Human life must be respected
   Whoever killed another human would be held accountable, because people were made in the image of God.
6. God would never again destroy the earth by a worldwide flood
   The rainbow was established as the sign of this covenant.

The 7th sabbath is a memorial of creation. It is how we know we worship the Creator of all things.
Sunday worship is pagan and goes against God's 10 commandment law.

It was already known. There was no contention about another day of worship.

There are over 80 weekly accounts of the apostles keeping the 7th day sabbath on a weekly basis in the book of Acts alone.
Not one example of Sunday keeping on a weekly basis.

The seventh day was sanctified.

God sanctified it not man.

Did God ever unsanctify it?

Do we have the right to change the day or ignore the day.

The sabbath was made for man. Set apart and made holy before sin. Before division and before Israel Was founded.

God used Israel to preserve His laws. He gave the laws to these people to be a light to the surrounding nations.

The sabbath was made way before Israel.
Is there a record of God commanding people not to take His name in vain, or not to covet? Just because there is no recorded commend to keep the sabbath Holy, there is plan evidence in the creation of the day.

The sabbath was made for man.

Either way.... we live today and should obey today.

Jesus (God in the flesh) made it clear what day was the sabbath and it was a weekly cycle. Jesus did not change it or say it does not apply.

He said that He was the Lord of the Sabbath and that the sabbath was made for man.. The sabbath that Jesus was keeping was a weekly sabbath and was from Friday night until Saturday night.

He obeyed it as our example.

Today the weekly cycle continues.

Every 7th day comes and goes. We can respect the day as sanctified or ignore it.

But one thing myself and many others have noticed.. ever since I started to obey the 4th commandment, The devil has worked twice as hard to disrupt the rest. Why is the devil so determined to stop us from keeping it holy, or resting on this day???

Today we have the words of the whole Bible not just Gen 2.

Remember the sabbath day to keep it holy.

The sabbath was taken to extremes in that day. Because Israel didn't keep the sabbath God cursed them...

Eze 20:13 But the house of Israel rebelled against me in the wilderness: they walked not in my statutes, and they despised my judgments, which if a man do, he shall even live in them; and my sabbaths they greatly polluted: then I said, I would pour out my fury upon them in the wilderness, to consume them.

They didn't keep the sabbath.....
Lev 26:34 Then shall the land enjoy her sabbaths, as long as it lieth desolate, and ye be in your enemies' land; even then shall the land rest, and enjoy her sabbaths.

The people diligently were keeping the sabbath. They were not wanting to go into captivity again..

But the leaders added so many rules to the sabbath that it became a burden. It was Hard to obey.. Jesus was often challenged about the keeping of the sabbath and He tried to help them see the true meaning of the sabbath.

Mar 2:27-28
27 And he said unto them, The sabbath was made for man, and not man for the sabbath: 28 Therefore the Son of man is Lord also of the sabbath.

They didn't need reminding of the sabbath or sermons to encourage them to keep it holy, they needed to understand the way God originally wanted us to keep it.. As our example Jesus showed them and us how to obey the sabbath.

The sabbath is a delight not a burden

Even today the Jewish people have extreme rules for keeping the sabbath..

Of course police, firefighters, ambulance drivers, doctors, etc. may be called upon to save lives on the sabbath.
This is in accord with Jesus' teaching. It is legal to save the life of even an animal on the sabbath.

The store people possible are feeding hungers. So it is doing good in Jesus term. Remember Jesus are feeding people, healing people, getting food for people on sabbath day?

When God gave manner in the wilderness. The people gathered for 2 days on Friday.

No gathering on sabbath.
