Yes, you are. I tried asking for clarification on his original post to no avail. So I’m supposed to read your mind? Why not just put it in the original post?

Tell that to the pharisees.
Just because you post Gods word does not mean anything.
Ah.. Yes, I was one of those people.. I became like the tax collector..
did you?
Yes. these people have never met God..
I don’t think anyone on here is doing this.I don't associate with catholics and reformed people (both modern day pharisees)
A lot of people don't accept what the Lord says in His Word these days.
That's too bad for them.
No, I was never employed by the IRS
Of course they did and they turned away.
Hebrews 3:12 - Take heed, brethren, lest there be in any of you an evil heart of unbelief, in departing from the living God.
*A person cannot depart from something they were never a part of to begin with
*Notice that this is speaking to "brethren" so this is a warning from the Lord to Christians.
1 Timothy 4:1,2 - Now the Spirit speaks expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils; Speaking lies in hypocrisy; having their conscience seared with a hot iron
*A person cannot depart from the faith if they were never in the faith begin with

have you already received the promise?Obedience is one of the evidences of salvation. God saves the rebel with the view that he/she becomes an obedient son/daughter. Where there is a lack of obedience, I question that person's salvation.
the one taught by the apostles!Obedience to what, exactly? You say "obedient to the Lord", so I'm presuming you mean to His instructions and commandments in Scripture. So... which ones, precisely?
mt 7:14Hebrews 5:9 does not teach salvation‑by‑obedience; it teaches salvation‑that‑produces‑obedience.
all four had faith, are all four saved?Read the parable of the sower. The seed is not the problem.
Hebrews 5:9 does not teach salvation‑by‑obedience; it teaches salvation‑that‑produces‑obedience.
this is all God and not us?The obedience is obedience to the faith, and that given by God, which is to say that through Jesus Christ, Savior, the elect are given everything needed in order to be and to remain obedient to the faith. It is all by God, nothing by man.
[Rom 1:4-5 KJV]
4 And declared [to be] the Son of God with power, according to the spirit of holiness, by the resurrection from the dead:
5 By whom we have received grace and apostleship, for obedience to the faith among all nations, for his name:
reformed people are not pharisees.I don't associate with catholics and reformed people (both modern day pharisees)
so your the modern day pharisee.A lot of people don't accept what the Lord says in His Word these days.

jude1:21
Keep yourselves in the love of God, looking for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ unto eternal life.
thks
reformed people are not pharisees.
so your the modern day pharisee.
Keep trying to save yourself and pumping your chest..
While anyone is welcome to answer posts here, I asked the original poster because I want to understand his view. I am not asking because I have no understanding of Scripture.the one taught by the apostles!
mt 28:19-20
19 Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost:
20 Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world. Amen.
acts 1:2
Until the day in which he was taken up, after that he through the Holy Ghost had given commandments unto the apostles whom he had chosen:
acts 2:42
And they continued stedfastly in the apostles' doctrine and fellowship, and in breaking of bread, and in prayers.

ps 23:3Back to the beginning... the point of eternal salvation.
That is believing on Jesus Christ. Admitting you are a sinner, headed for hell. Believing Jesus is God, that He can give you eternal life, forgive your sin. Then asking for salvation.
Amazingrace, yes, it is entirely of God and not of ourselves.
No, not all had faith. I was one who initially believed. I went out the front at a Billy Graham crusade when I was 16. I believed that Jesus was God and I believed that He died and rose again. But it did not stick and I was not saved, even though I signed a decision card. About 5 years later, I received Jesus fully. I knew the difference between the two experiences.all four had faith, are all four saved?

lets at least obey the golden words of Christ! You must be a jackdonkey.
I suggest you start with Galatians 5:19-23 and ask the Lord to manifest His character through you.
Now... would you like to answer the question I asked, or would you like to continue in the attitude you demonstrated in your response?
OK so we have our first contestant who is saying we can live in disobedience and still be saved.
Bottom line here is Jesus is the author of eternal salvation ONLY to them that obey Him.
Those that disobey the Lord are living in obedience to the devil.
Romans 6:16 states: "Know ye not, that to whom ye yield yourselves servants to obey, his servants ye are to whom ye obey; whether of sin unto death, or of obedience unto righteousness?"
You need to learn ASAP that disobedience is death and death is being separated from the Lord
Amen?
A pharisee is a legalist who thinks they were saved by their works. They crucified christ because Christ rebuked them and their religious works. and called them self righteous. They add to and take away from God's Word which is what the pharisees did that got Jesus upset at them.
ok. so why are you adding to his words?Proverbs 30:5-6 - Every word of God proves true; He is a shield to those who take refuge in Him.
Do not add to His words, lest He rebuke you and you be found a liar.
It seems you have been indoctrinated by a form of catholicism, if you think you can lose salvation.. Because that is modern day phariseeism.2 Timothy 3:16-17 - All Scripture is breathed out by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness, that the man of God may be complete, equipped for every good work.
No, I accept what God says in His Word and have not been indoctrinated by reformed theology or catholicism
Of course those having been indoctrinated by man made religion claims those following God's Word are in error.
