Lesson 2?....would you not think that it is actually lesson 1? Why do you think Satan came to Eve in the garden and not Adam and said " Did God really say?"...how would she know? She wasnt even made when God told Adam not to eat of the fruit. She heard it second hand, thats what made her weak. You asked for something solid for when we have sin we cant break. I think Ive answered your question with the most powerful tool we have Those that wait upon the Lord SHALL renew their strength. Waiting upon the Lord is waiting for Him to minister directly into our spirit, to speak to us, to strengthen us. This defiantly lesson 1, it was certainly the first lesson I ever learnt as a new Christian.

I never asked about sin we cant break. Adam stood next to Eve in the garden.
Nowhere in the bible does it say her disobedience had anything to do with not
hearing first hand. If that were true why did Adam eat also. But thats not important
to this thread.
I do like you quoting promises from the Word and by faith that will do the strengthening
we need. But im sure you know i will not teach or support talking, and being talked to,
away from scripture. Of coarse the Holyspirit enlightens us and close fellowship is the
best thing we can have. And this can go on all day, but many people run with a wild imagination
and say God told them what they believe. I hear it almost daily.Many people talk about
talking to God and God talking to them. And they are scary.
I know you like to press this on people and at the same time take jabs at the bible, giving
it a place of lesser importance I will never agree with you on this. the bible doest teach it that way. The scriptures come first. Spiritual maturity comes as we let it renew our minds as well as wash and feed us.Ill stop now and say ive been as polite as possible.

The bible teaches Jesus as a boy reading learning and debating
the bible then shows Him using it, teaching from it.....same with John the baptist

lol that reminds me of those silly Hebrews being lead around in the wildreness listening to God's Voice. I sure hope I don't have to answer that door when He comes a knocking on my heart's door and wants to sup with me. He would probably start talking to me. Worse yet, He would probably bring His Father too and make a temple out of me. Boy, those silly little Voices........
