I know Revelation is translated in the Greek language, but the writer was Hebrew. And he probably wrote it in Aramaic anyway.
The custom of Hebrew writing is to restate the same thing twice in a row in a different way.
(And yes, I know it is prophecy, but John 'the beloved' was Hebrew.)
