So when he says look to Daniel to see when tribulation would begin, how is Daniel fulfilled?

Matthew 24:41 Two women shall be grinding at the mill; the one shall be taken, and the other left.
About Daniel I don't have the time to answer atm, but if you want I'll make a new thread and answer that another day...

As far as Matt. 24:41, are you sure the one taken isn't the one going to hell? Who was taken in Noah's day? Who as taken in Sodom and Gomorrah? I think you have it backward bud. The left behind enters the new heaven and new earth. I don't we'll ever see eye to eye on this

You’ve got to think outside the box mate, It’s not just me reading this thread.

What do you mean when you say you would? Does that mean you could show scripture that the devil is bound NOW, and that you could show scripture that we are ruling NOW as kings and priests without are rewards and the crown of righteousness, that he brings when he comes?

I think when you say you would, I think it means, you wood if you could but you can’t
1PT 2:5 And you also, like living stones, are being built into a
spiritual house, to be a Holy Priesthood.

rev 1:5 And from Jesus Christ, who is the faithful witness, and the first begotten of the dead, and the prince of the kings of the earth. Unto him that loved us, and washed us from our sins in his own blood,
6 And hath made us kings and priests unto God and his Father; to him be glory and dominion for ever and ever. Amen.

Satan is bound but evil increases,....interesting.

2 Timothy 3

King James Version (KJV)

3(1) This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come.
2 For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy,
3 Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good,
4 Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God;
5 Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away.
6 For of this sort are they which creep into houses, and lead captive silly women laden with sins, led away with divers lusts,
7 Ever learning, and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth.
8 Now as Jannes and Jambres withstood Moses, so do these also resist the truth: men of corrupt minds, reprobate concerning the faith.
9 But they shall proceed no further: for their folly shall be manifest unto all men, as their's also was.
10 But thou hast fully known my doctrine, manner of life, purpose, faith, longsuffering, charity, patience,
11 Persecutions, afflictions, which came unto me at Antioch, at Iconium, at Lystra; what persecutions I endured: but out of them all the Lord delivered me.
12 Yea, and all that will live godly in Christ Jesus shall suffer persecution.
13 But evil men and seducers shall wax worse and worse, deceiving, and being deceived.(without Satan)
14 But continue thou in the things which thou hast learned and hast been assured of, knowing of whom thou hast learned them;
15 And that from a child thou hast known the holy scriptures, which are able to make thee wise unto salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus.
16 All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:
17 That the man of God may be perfect, thoroughly furnished unto all good works.

2 Timothy 4
King James Version (KJV)

4 I charge thee therefore before God, and the Lord Jesus Christ, who shall judge the quick and the dead at his appearing and his kingdom;
2 Preach the word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all long suffering and doctrine.
3 For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears;
4 And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables.
5 But watch thou in all things, endure afflictions, do the work of an evangelist, make full proof of thy ministry.
6 For I am now ready to be offered, and the time of my departure is at hand.
7 I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith:
8 Henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, shall give me at that day: and not to me only, but unto all them also that love his appearing.
When does Paul earn the crown(rulership) of righteousness? Not a crown of martyrdom, but of righteousness.
Was he ruling yet?

Daniel 2
Daniel Interprets the Dream
31“You saw, O king, and behold, a great image. This image, mighty and of exceeding brightness, stood before you, and its appearance was frightening. 32The head of this image was of fine gold, its chest and arms of silver, its middle and thighs of bronze, 33its legs of iron, its feet partly of iron and partly of clay. 34 As you looked, a stone was cut out by no human hand, and it struck the image on its feet of iron and clay, and broke them in pieces. 35Then the iron, the clay, the bronze, the silver, and the gold, all together were broken in pieces, and became like the chaff of the summer threshing floors; and the wind carried them away, so that not a trace of them could be found. But the stone that struck the image became a great mountain and filled the whole earth.

36“This was the dream. Now we will tell the king its interpretation. 37You, O king, the king of kings, to whom the God of heaven has given the kingdom, the power, and the might, and the glory, 38and into whose hand he has given, wherever they dwell, the children of man, the beasts of the field, and the birds of the heavens, making you rule over them all—you are the head of gold. 39Another kingdom inferior to you shall arise after you, and yet a third kingdom of bronze, which shall rule over all the earth. 40And there shall be a fourth kingdom, strong as iron, because iron breaks to pieces and shatters all things. And like iron that crushes, it shall break and crush all these. 41And as you saw the feet and toes, partly of potter’s clay and partly of iron, it shall be a divided kingdom, but some of the firmness of iron shall be in it, just as you saw iron mixed with the soft clay. 42And as the toes of the feet were partly iron and partly clay, so the kingdom shall be partly strong and partly brittle. 43As you saw the iron mixed with soft clay, so they will mix with one another in marriage,c but they will not hold together, just as iron does not mix with clay. 44 And in the days of those kings the God of heaven will set up a kingdom that shall never be destroyed, nor shall the kingdom be left to another people. It shall break in pieces all these kingdoms and bring them to an end, and it shall stand forever, 45just as you saw that a stone was cut from a mountain by no human hand, and that it broke in pieces the iron, the bronze, the clay, the silver, and the gold. A great God has made known to the king what shall be after this. The dream is certain, and its interpretation sure.”

just as you saw that a stone was cut from a mountain by no human hand, and that it broke in pieces the iron, the bronze, the clay, the silver, and the gold

Psalm 118:22
The stone the builders rejected has become the capstone;

Isaiah 28:16
So this is what the Sovereign LORD says: "See, I lay a stone in Zion, a tested stone, a precious cornerstone for a sure foundation; the one who trusts will never be dismayed.

Matthew 21:42
Jesus said to them, "Have you never read in the Scriptures: "'The stone the builders rejected has become the capstone; the Lord has done this, and it is marvelous in our eyes'?

Mark 12:9
"What then will the owner of the vineyard do? He will come and kill those tenants and give the vineyard to others.
I think you might find that is talking about Jesus coming at the end of the world and not Jesus coming the first time

For there are 5 kingdoms in Daniel 2. NOT 4

(1)….32This image's head was of fine gold,
(2)….his breast and his arms of silver,
(3)….his belly and his thighs of brass,
(4)….33His legs of iron, 40 And the fourth kingdom shall be strong as iron
(5)….his feet part of iron and part of clay. , the kingdom shall be divided 42And as the toes of the feet were part of iron, and part of clay, so the kingdom shall be partly strong, and partly broken.

Jesus came the first time in the legs of iron in the Roman Empire not the feet of clay, the feet and toes is the last kingdom.

Before the head of gold/Babylon was Assyria, and before Assyria was Egypt in Bible history.

That makes 7 kingdoms altogether in Bible history

There are 7 kingdoms altogether, and john lived in the days of Rome the legs of iron, and that’s when Jesus came the first time. As john put it the “ONE IS” and the other “IS NOT YET COME”
But in Daniels vision the stone comes to the last kingdom the feet and toes, NOT the lags of iron.

The ten kings in Revelation would I think represent be the ten toes of Daniel 2.

As its says
44 And in the days of these kings shall the God of heaven set up a kingdom, which shall never be destroyed: and the kingdom shall not be left to other people, but it shall break in pieces and consume all these kingdoms, and it shall stand for ever.

And what kings are they? Because the other four kings/kingdoms were all dead and buried

(1)….head was of fine gold,
(2)….his breast and his arms of silver,
(3)….his belly and his thighs of brass,
(4)….33His legs of iron,

Don’t know what you are saying here exactly.

He brings his rewards with him when he comes
Revelation 22:12 And, behold, I come quickly; and my reward is with me, to give every man according as his work shall be.

And we get are rewards and crowns when he come at His appearing.

8Henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, shall give me at that day: and not to me only, but unto all them also that love his appearing.

So how are you ruling NOW for a 1000 years as kings and priests on the earth, and you haven’t even got your crowns yet, and been allocated your rewards and you positions.

“About satan being bound and to what extent youve been shown numerous times”
Rubbish (show me where) you have NOT shown one scripture saying he is bound NOW, or any scripture saying anything about that. Is that you body swerving, so you don’t have to show any scripture because I have been shown numerous times? You haven’t shown one or did miss it?Rubbish (show me where)

We have shown you that he is loose and, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour: as a roaring lion.

I have shown you he is going to be cast into the earth and make war with them that have the testimony of Jesus Christ.RV12:9, so how is he cast into the pit already and sealed up for a 1000 years, If he is walking about and cast into the earth for 3 ½ years????????????????

For a devil that’s bound and sealed up and cast into a bottomless pit, he is pretty dam busy

Revelation 12:9 And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world: he was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him.

That was amazing, absolutely brilliant.

It’s got my head absolutely spinning, seeing little tiny glimpses of the spirit of God, wonderful.

It made me love more other people, with different thoughts

It also made me feel like, an alien, a stranger, a foreigner in a strange land, except when they read scripture.

I think I must be a pre-millennialist, never had a word for it before

This topic for some is a intellectual lust problem that they consume upon their flesh because of all the references in scripture, both from the old and new testament, that they can titillate their own intellectual fancy. One way you can spot them has to do with how they refer to those who have had the greatest impact on this topic. They will take Schofield and others and rake them over the coals and associate them with others who have has all kinds of evil spoken against them because of the conviction and doctrine they have on this subject. They have to come to a place where they must demonize those they do not agree with.

The Pharisees try to demonize the Lord when He was here for casting out devils as the prince of Beelzebub because they did not agree with Him. I always thought that was strange knowing that He was setting free all these lunatics and those afflicted by devils. But even more strange is when you see professing believers demonizing men of God for the doctrine they believe and have taught, which has given conviction and understanding to so many. What these professing believers don't grasp is the reality that all believers have the Spirit dwelling within, the Spirit of truth, and when they hear the demonizing of these men it does not sit well with the Spirit in them and they are polluting the ear of those with pure hearts and offending the love of God by having them listen to this evil speaking.

Have those who have tried to discredit the 1,000 year premise really studied that word (chilioi) in reference to other times it is used in the scripture and have they applied it in the same manner to see if it makes sense in that application. I wonder some times. Do we take the Greek word used for (1,000) and apply it to the a Hebrew text to expunge any literal meaning of the word and manipulate the interpretation to suite a certain understanding or belief that one happens to like or ascribes to?

Herod the Great
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Herod (Hebrew: הוֹרְדוֹס, Hordos, Greek: Ἡρῴδης, Hērōdēs), also known as Herod the Great (born 73 or 74 BCE, died 4 BCE in Jericho[1]), was a Roman client king of Judea.[2][3][4] His epithet of "the Great" is widely disputed as he is described as "a madman who murdered his own family and a great many rabbis."[5][6][7] He is also known for his colossal building projects in Jerusalem and elsewhere, including his expansion of the Second Temple in Jerusalem (sometimes referred to as Herod's Temple) and the construction of the port at Caesarea Maritima. Important details of his biography are gleaned from the works of the 1st century CE Roman-Jewish historian Josephus Flavius.

The Romans made Herod's son Herod Archelaus ethnarch of Judea, Samaria, and Idumea (biblical Edom) from 4 BCE to 6 CE, referred to as the tetrarchy of Judea. Archelaus was judged incompetent by the Roman emperor Augustus who then combined Samaria, Judea proper and Idumea into Iudaea province[8] under rule of a prefect until 41. Herod's other son Herod Antipas was tetrarch of Galilee from 4 BCE–39 CE.

It is refreshing to see the Word defended by three different views in such an excellent way.
I learned much.
Thanks for the post stillwaters.
I see where the three views are coming from much more clearly now.
I still hold to the premillennial position because I don't see Revelations 19 and 20 as happening in chronological order;
but a restating of the same occurrence, as is common in Hebrew literature.
Satan is bound when Jesus rides the white horse (metaphorically), not before or after.

To the 'amillennialist': We know from you that the church is in the kingdom reign of Christ will be taken up in the clouds of the air to meet the Lord at the end of the tribulation, that no man knows the day or hour or just how long that will last. When the Lord does finally come, for those who are alive and dead in Christ, what happens next? the church is in the clouds with the Lord and what happens? Is the reward with the Lord at this time, are the believer's judged at this time, are they taken to heaven, is their a marriage supper of the Lamb? What happens with the church being with the Lord, do we come back with Him to the earth at the second coming and is that after or before we have been judged?

If we have been taken up do we also receive our new glorified bodies at that time or some time later? Do we come back with the Lord in our glorified bodies in this great battle that takes place or are we on the earth, safe and secure, or are we on the sidelines of heaven waiting for the new heaven and earth? When are the nations judged and when does the great white throne judgment take place? Are believers part of that judgment or have they already been judged at the Bema seat? Are we part of the sheep that are separated from the goats or does that apply to the nations? Is not Israel involved in any of this that takes place at the second coming and thereafter before the new heaven and earth?

hi ellie:

here's wiki:

Gog and Magog
Two giants, Gog and Magog, are associated with Guildhall. Legend has it that the two giants were defeated by Brutus and chained to the gates of his palace on the site of Guildhall. Carvings of Gog and Magog are kept in Guildhall and 7 foot high wicker effigies of them donated by the Worshipful Company of Basketmakers in 2007 lead the procession in the annual Lord Mayor's Show.

An early version of Gog and Magog were destroyed in Guildhall during the Great Fire of London. They were replaced in 1708 by a large pair of wooden statues carved by Captain Richard Saunders. These giants, on whom the current versions are based, lasted for over two hundred years before they were destroyed in the Blitz. They, in turn, were replaced by a new pair carved by David Evans in 1953 and given to the City of London by Alderman Sir George Wilkinson, who had been Lord Mayor in 1940 at the time of the destruction of the previous versions.

A rare look inside Skull and Bones, the Yale secret society and sometime haunt of the presumptive Republican nominee for President
Atlantic Magazine

"On High Street, in the middle of the Yale University campus, stands a cold-looking, nearly windowless Greco-Egyptian building with padlocked iron doors. This is the home of Yale's most famous secret society, Skull and Bones, and it is also, in a sense, one of the many homes of the family of George W. Bush, Yale '68.

Bush men have been Yale men and Bonesmen for generations. Prescott Bush, George W.'s grandfather, Yale '17, was a legendary Bonesman; he was a member of the band that stole for the society what became one of its most treasured artifacts: a skull that was said to be that of the Apache chief Geronimo. Prescott Bush, one of a great many Bonesmen who went on to lives of power and renown, became a U.S. senator. George Herbert Walker Bush, George W.'s father, Yale '48, was also a Bonesman, and he, too, made a conspicuous success of himself. Inside the temple on High Street hang paintings of some of Skull and Bones's more illustrious members; the painting of George Bush, the most recently installed, is five feet high.

There were other Bush Bonesmen, a proud line of them stretching from great uncle George Herbert Walker Jr. to uncle Jonathan Bush to cousins George Herbert Walker IIIand Ray Walker. So when George W. was "tapped" for Skull and Bones, at the end of his junior year, he, too, naturally became a Bonesman—but, it seems, a somewhat ambivalent one.

New members of Skull and Bones are assigned secret names, by which fellow Bonesmen will forever know them. Some Bonesmen receive traditional names, denoting function or existential status; others are the chosen beneficiaries of names that their Bones predecessors wish to pass on. The leftover initiates choose their own names. The name Long Devil is assigned to the tallest member; Boaz (short for Beelzebub) goes to any member who is a varsity football captain. Many of the chosen names are drawn from literature (Hamlet, Uncle Remus), from religion, and from myth. The banker Lewis Lapham passed on his name, Sancho Panza, to the political adviser Tex McCrary. Averell Harriman was Thor, Henry Luce was Baal, McGeorge Bundy was Odin. The name Magog is traditionally assigned to the incoming Bonesman deemed to have had the most s*xual experience, and Gog goes to the new member with the least s*xual experience. William Howard Taft and Robert Taft were Magogs. So, interestingly, was George Bush."

The Jewish Nation's Response to President George W. Bush
on the Eve of His Visit to the Holy Land

The following document, written and signed by the New Jewish Congress, The Sanhedrin, and The Holy Temple and Temple Mount Movements is to be presented to President George W. Bush upon his arrival in the land of Israel on the second day of the Hebrew month of Shvat 5768, (January 9, 2008)

"28 Tevet, 5768 / January 6, 2008

In the Name of the Lord, Eternal God

To The Honorable Mr. George W. Bush,

“About satan being bound and to what extent youve been shown numerous times”
Rubbish (show me where) you have NOT shown one scripture saying he is bound NOW, or any scripture saying anything about that. Is that you body swerving, so you don’t have to show any scripture because I have been shown numerous times? You haven’t shown one or did miss it?Rubbish (show me where)

don't be so lazy. go back and actually read it.
