The nature of God.

Jesus is Ruler, King of Kings, Healer, Master, Keeper and Saviour. He is ONE.
Likewise God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit is ONE.
Omnipresent God in Heaven and Earth.

By the way, I am not a arian. It was right to excommunicate Arius for his doctrine. Arius reasoned that God the Father is the only unbegotten. He also reasoned that this only unbegotten God created Jesus out of nothing. Therefore, Jesus did not exit before God the Father created him.

This we know is untrue. I do not hold to that reasoning and therefore am not in Arius' camp and I would have voted to excommunicate him too.

I also believe that Athanasius' camp went to such a degree to shut down Arius that they perpetrated unbiblical concepts on Christianity and because they were considered the fathers of the church in that time and in high standing and had the backing of Constantine, the concepts took flight and ended in a creed that is still as controversial today as it was when presented. The Christian world even today, as seen by this thread, are split into many segments when it comes to explaining the Godhead, and the relationships and natures of the 3 persons in that Godhead.

I give you and everyone the right to worship Almighty God and Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit as you wish and call you sisters and brothers. I look forward one day for complete unity in the churches. Can you imagine what that would be like for millions and millions of people thinking and moving in the same direction. Can you imagine all the good, all the power and glory that could be given to God from that kind of utopian state. I long for that day. May the Lord always be with you. I may not always agree with you, but I enjoy your enthusiasm in the Lord.
Here's my "creed" ...

I don't know many creeds, but I like this one:

I believe in God the Father, Almighty, Maker of heaven and earth:
2. And in Jesus Christ, his only begotten Son, our Lord:
3. Who was conceived by the Holy Ghost, born of the Virgin Mary:
4. Suffered under Pontius Pilate; was crucified, dead and buried: He descended into hell:
5. The third day he rose again from the dead:
6. He ascended into heaven, and sits at the right hand of God the Father Almighty:
7. From thence he shall come to judge the quick and the dead:
8. I believe in the Holy Ghost:
9. I believe in the holy catholic church: the communion of saints:
10. The forgiveness of sins:
1l. The resurrection of the body: 12. And the life everlasting. Amen.

Re: Wake up...

Then you can't be against something which you don't understand...that would be called ignorance...

And?

This does nothing to deny Jesus' deity.
So I am ignorant. . . .Okay. Never once did Jesus or the apostles tell anyone that they must believe that Jesus Christ is God.
Roflol...!

You can't even bring yourself to even declare what you think the Trinity even is...how then can it 'thwart' the Trinity?

Straw-man. . .

Its called the Trinity.

I have stated what the Trinity is.
What you do is quote scripture which you think somehow supports your position, and then you ignore the rest...ALL from Trinitarian rendered scriptures!

Don't you know how silly you look?!
So now I am ignorant AND I look silly . . .
Okay.

And?

You don't.

Who is YOUR Savior?
God, Savior of the OT because he delivered the children of Israel from bondage and captivities. . . .

Now Jesus Christ. . .being God's plan for salvation to the Jew first then to the Gentiles, Jesus Christ is my saviour by fulfilling the Law . . .which delivered me from the wrath of God and gave me eternal life.

but....i take back the word nonsense.
worship as many gods as you want to:)

worshipping the Son is worshipping someone other than God.
so....ya....that's okay though
I do not worship anyone AS God.

worship as many gods as you want to:)

Re: Run from it...

That is correct. So if we look at the positives we find that God is "Father, Son and Spirit."

If only people could grasp that the Son is God, that would be so helpful. :)

We must remember that each is NOT the other, but each is the ONE God.

[h=3]John 6:46[/h]
Not that any man hath seen the Father, save he which is of God, he hath seen the Father.

I hope this helps

No it was your comment, would you like me to repost it, and the scriptures I added to it?
Yes.

Please post the Trinitarian rendered scriptures and this time actually defend them instead of another 'hit-n-run'...

To oblige I have done as you requested

Would you answer my question now?

Why did neither Christ, Paul, Peter, James or John plainly and clearly state that a person must believe Christ is God Himself unto salvation?

Did the Apostles not have the spiritual insight you and others do today?
Or did they fail woefully in their Christian duty by not informing people very plainly as to the belief required as to who Christ is to inherit eternal life?

The Holy Bible is all about the Triune God.

The only way that you could have missed this is if you obtained your theology at a drive-through window...along with some chicken mc-nuggets...

I have stated what the Trinity is.
Tell us now.

God, Savior of the OT because he delivered the children of Israel from bondage and captivities. . . .

How is it that the OT prophets saw God face-to-face and lived to write about it?

Now Jesus Christ. . .being God's plan for salvation to the Jew first then to the Gentiles,
Jesus Christ is my saviour by fulfilling the Law . . .which delivered me from the wrath of God and gave me eternal life.
All judgement has been given to the Son.

Only God has the power to judge.

Thus, if Jesus is your Savior, then you are being saved from HIS wrath because He is God.

Thanks for this admission...

Why do you keep posting Trinitarian rendering scriptures if you don't even believe in them to begin with?

Answer the question.

Answer the question.
Answer your immature questions, when you cannot answer any of mine, apart from a feeble attempt to explain away John17:3

I have asked Bowman to respond to the above three times, but he hasn't. Is there anyone else who would like to?

Still waiting for your rebuttal to John 17.3.

When can we expect it...?
