Good questions. The church today teaches doctrinal salvation rather than heart conversion. In other words, if you know the four spiritual laws and say the sinners prayer (or whatever the church claims is the proper ritual), then bingo, you're saved because you have jumped through the approved hoops. Problem is, it isn't true.

It took me decades to see it, but salvation has absolutely nothing to do with doctrinal head knowledge, everything to do with having a repentant, humble and contrite heart towards God, a sometimes rare commodity here.
YAY!
REPENTANT MUSLIMS ARE SAVED!

GO TELL IT ON THE MOUNTAIN!

The questions in my previous posts were not meant to be rhetorical. I have no formal schooling in theology nor church history of be sure of the correct answers. Yet they have elicited no response. With all due respect, they were not directed to zone.
Don't worry, she'll butt in anyway, LOL. By the way, you wouldn't happen to know Larry Heiniger would you? He's a missionary in country with you.

well Mark,
you can answer for the idolatry of making Jesus Christ a created entity.
claiming ignorance won't help you.
bye
And you can reason that the Spirit of God contradicts the word of God

BTW
Yes, I do believe Christ was the firstborn over all creation, he was begat of the Father, as did Tertullian actually, and I believe IRRANEUS too, guess the church fathers were idolators also.
Keep hurling those stones Zone with your extra biblical demands.

I know I am at a disadvantage having not read of the scholars and theologians you have, but I'll just stick with the simple scriptures, and leave you in your world of acadamia
No, that is actually an advantage. It is the Holy Spirit, through Scripture who will "lead you into all truth."

All the heresy that you read in here comes from the theologians, which is where the spiritually blind get their doctrines.

Heres the issue Therapon since you believe that jews who follow judiaism (observant jews) as you called them are saved without knowing the gospel. That means 1 that you don't see a need to evangelize to them 2 If you tell them this you are telling them they are saved and they don't need Jesus and the gospel.3 people that you deceive with your heresy will do the same thing as you. Thus you teach a damnable heresy.

You are so right
They rely on the scholar and theologian for truth, not the Holy Spirit who leads into truth, hence they make their extra biblical demands and condemn you if you do not accept them,

LOL, when I lead a Jew to Jesus, I don't start out by telling him he is lost and on his way to hell. Instead, I tell him I'm a kosher Goy and ask him if he is looking for his Messiah. When he says yes, I say praise ha Shem and tell him he is my brother, because I'm looking for his Messiah, too, the only difference between us being that I believe He has already been here once. Guess what? After that, it's a piece of cake to tell him about the true sacrifical lamb who came to die for the sins of us all.

If that makes me a heretic, so be it. I would have it no other way.

you're a KOSHER GOY? LOL.

ugh.

in any case...how does your claim to "leading a Jew to Jesus" fit with your assertion they're blinded from knowing Him UNTO SALVATION?

are you not pouring New Wine into Old Skins Jesus specifically said ought not to be done?

aren't you messing around grafting BRANCHES FROM DIFFERENT TREES when you said the Lord WANTS Two SEPARATE TREES?

Do you know what i noticed here? I noticed there are two sides here, people on each side. Now this debate is natural i suppose, people have done this ever since the church was founded. But i also noticed all the anger and hurtful comments that seem to come from it. That doesn't sound like its from god ppls, i think the devil is using us here, after all even the devil knows the word by heart and loves to turn us against each other. Just thought i would point that out:]

false doctrine and private interpretations of God's Plan are not from God.

Well as much as everyone see's each other as false teachers, or children of lucifer or people who are damning themselves. Thats just not what i see, its not What Jesus see's either. I actually see great potential in every person i have seen posting on here, Zone for instance, you and i may not agree on things but we both strive for Jesus. You have scriptural knowledge which will be a great weapon against the devil, i may not know scripture near as much as you do. But I know god's heart, I do not know all of it clearly but i know who he is deep inside because he revealed himself to me. Peace making and speaking of love is most of the time the solution to a fight such as this debate

Not all of us are being used of the devil, brother. Those who are display their true hearts through their discourtesy, threatening words and open anger.
