I imagine my soul mate at this moment standing on a street corner trying to solicit money from people!!!
(she would be a Salvation Army Bell-Ringer - I don't know what you were all thinking!!!).
I thought she was selling pretzels or hot dogs, what were you thinking I was thinking about thinking?

You're probably right, Ugly. I should have said 'future spouse' instead. No where. There is no such thing as a soul mate.
I'm glad you are still with us, Kim! And you don't ever have to apologize for derailing one my threads.Or, she could have committed suicide.
(Sorry folks... I've sat in a room with a guy who shot and killed his parents... And, I've been in the hospital for my own suicide attempt as well. I have just as much of a dark side as some of the people who post here and sometimes feel the need to rise... or stoop... to the challenge.)
Sorry Zero! Very cool thread idea... Sorry for the brief interruption.
Joking or not, that is so sad.I hope God would not let something like that happen. If a soulmate exists, then it is part of God's plan to bring the two of you together.

The Bible may not have any passages that scream, "YOU HAVE A SOUL MATE!!" but I do believe God makes, and brings together, highly compatible people.
Being adopted, I always say if God had allowed me to choose my own parents, and He would have let me choose from Bill Gates, Donald Trump, or a couple living in a $5000 trailer in the middle of the midwest, I would have made the wrong choice.
And they are the absolute perfect choice for me, through all the heartache, medical difficulties, screaming hell fights, rebellion and tears...
I may never find "the one"--but God was gracious enough to grant me not just one, but two.
My parents are, by far, the closest examples of soul mates to each other (they've been together since ages 13 and 15 and with NO one else, ever,) and to me as I have ever read about or experienced. If I never find "the one", I'll always be grateful for the two souls who have bonded with my own for now and always, even though as people, we are complete opposites!!
I'm thinking my soul mate has finished at the Chinese buffet by now and has moved on to the all-you-can-eat sundae bar.
I'm thinking, the very first gift we will ever get each other are joint memberships to Gold's Gym (ha ha ha... I almost typed "God's Gym"... even better!)![]()

I don't feel like a super hero, but I did feel like a zoo keeper... and what time was it? It was time to feed the trolls. Just a nibble.![]()
