Nope.We have died to the law that we may live unto Him. Rom 7. Also our sins have already been taken away and judged in Christ therefore we willingly and thankfully serve HIM as free sons. You guys keep persisting in your bondage to the law
and you'll see you have fallen from grace.
This is a good example of how the plain teachings of Paul can be twisted in the mind.
What the wolves have done is invent a doctrine where the death of Christ on the cross somehow "cancelled the demands of the law." Thus under the deception when one is "identified with Christ" (in this forensic positional salvation) one can "no longer be condemned."
Here is what the Bible really teaches about not being under the law...
Gal 5:18 But
if ye be led of the Spirit, ye are not under the law.
Not being under the law is CONDITIONAL of being led of the Spirit hence...
Rom 8:13 For if ye live after the flesh, ye shall die: but
if ye through the Spirit do mortify the deeds of the body, ye shall live.
Rom 8:14 For
as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God.
Which is why Paul would write...1Ti 1:9 Knowing this, that
the law is not made for a righteous man, but for the lawless and disobedient, for the ungodly and for sinners, for unholy and profane, for murderers of fathers and murderers of mothers, for manslayers,
1Ti 1:10 For whoremongers, for them that defile themselves with mankind, for menstealers, for liars, for perjured persons, and if there be any other thing that is contrary to sound doctrine;
Therefore when Paul writes in Romans 7...
Rom 7:4 Wherefore, my brethren,
ye also are become dead to the law by the body of Christ; that ye should be married to another, even to him who is raised from the dead, that we should bring forth fruit unto God.
Rom 7:5
For when we were in the flesh, the motions of sins, which were by the law, did work in our members to bring forth fruit unto death.
Rom 7:6 But
now we are delivered from the law, that being dead wherein we were held; that we should serve in newness of spirit, and not in the oldness of the letter.
Being delivered from the law is clearly in the context of serving in the Spirit which matches up with everything else Paul writes in all his other writings.
2Co 3:6 Who also
hath made us able ministers of the new testament; not of the letter, but of the spirit: for the letter killeth, but the spirit giveth life.
2Co 3:7 But if the ministration of death, written and engraven in stones, was glorious, so that the children of Israel could not stedfastly behold the face of Moses for the glory of his countenance; which glory was to be done away:
2Co 3:8 How shall not the ministration of the spirit be rather glorious?
2Co 3:9 For if the ministration of condemnation be glory, much more doth
the ministration of righteousness exceed in glory.
One can only be dead to the law when they are dead to sin.
Rom 6:4 Therefore we are buried with him by baptism into death: that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life.
Rom 6:5 For if we have been planted together in the likeness of his death, we shall be also in the likeness of his resurrection:
Rom 6:6 Knowing this, that our old man is crucified with him, that the body of sin might be destroyed, that henceforth we should not serve sin.
Rom 6:7 For he that is dead is freed from sin.
Rom 6:8 Now
if we be dead with Christ, we believe that we shall also live with him:
Rom 6:9 Knowing that Christ being raised from the dead dieth no more; death hath no more dominion over him.
Rom 6:10 For
in that he died, he died unto sin once: but in that he liveth, he liveth unto God.
Rom 6:11
Likewise reckon ye also yourselves to be dead indeed unto sin, but alive unto God through Jesus Christ our Lord. [This is the shift from serving sin to serving Christ]
Rom 6:12 Let not sin therefore reign in your mortal body, that ye should obey it in the lusts thereof.
Rom 6:13 Neither yield ye your members as instruments of unrighteousness unto sin: but yield yourselves unto God, as those that are alive from the dead, and your members as instruments of righteousness unto God.
Rom 6:14 For sin shall not have dominion over you: for ye are not under the law, but under grace.
Many are deceived today by a false understanding of the death of Christ which leads them to believe that engaging in sin has no bearing on their justification. They are dead wrong. What we do has EVERYTHING to do as to whether we are justified or not. There is only no condemnation for those who are IN Christ and thus WALK after the Spirit FULFILLING THE RIGHTEOUSNESS OF THE LAW IN THEM.
Rom 8:1 There is
therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.
Rom 8:2 For
the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death.
Rom 8:3 For what the law could not do, in that it was weak through the flesh, God sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh, and for sin, condemned sin in the flesh:
Rom 8:4 That
the righteousness of the law might be fulfilled in us, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.
In a nutshell the ministers of Satan have been able to twist the Scriptures in such a way as to promote the idea of a disconnect of conduct from justification. Thus they (and those whom they have deceived) will always defend being able to engage in sin and remain in a justified state.
Besides ignoring what the Scriptures I listed above plainly say they are also beheld by the delusion of the Penal Substitution doctrine where they literally believe Jesus obeyed as their substitute and thus the obedience of Jesus is credited to their account. Thus, in their mind, to connect "their own obedience" to justification would be adding to the "forensic credit of Jesus' obedience."
This deception is like an onion with layer upon layer of fallacy. When you expose one layer or facet the deceived people fall back upon another layer of facet of their deception in order to uphold the one that was just exposed.
In order to come out of this delusion one must be willing to lay the axe to the root. I recommend people stop listening to all these celebrity preachers (who are all ministers of Satan dressed as sheep) and just read the Bible plainly without the baggage of preconceived conclusions.
2Co 11:14 And no marvel; for
Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light.
2Co 11:15
Therefore it is no great thing if his ministers also be transformed as the ministers of righteousness; whose end shall be according to their works.
