Yes absolutely! And I find that the more I put my trust in Him and have Him direct my steps, allowing Him to conform me to His will instead of my own, the more I can relax and stand back and experience Him implementing His plans and purposes, which always turn out to be greater and more breathtakingly beautiful than anything I could have ever envisioned or imagined for myself.
Ephesians 3:20-21 "Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us, to Him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus to all generations, forever and ever, Amen."
"If we are out of our mind, it is for the sake of God; if we are in our right mind, it is for you. For Christ's love compels us, because we are convinced that one died for all, and therefore all died. And He died for all, that those who live should no longer live for themselves but for Him who died for them ...." (2 Corinthians 5:13-15).
In this we are never discouraged, for discouragement then is disenchanted egotism. Be possessed by God's love - to do that we must hand over our will to Him volitionally; even picking up our cross daily.
Discouragement always comes when we insist on having it our way. May the love of God transform our understanding; each and every one of us thru righteousness. Therefore as we change into His likeness - what is our hearts desires, except for the will of God seeing the fullness of Christ Jesus; ourselves fully realized in Him? :). Press on toward what is ahead in Jesus = Our Transformation.
Isn't it wonderful that we can come to God in prayer and ask Him for our heart's desires? But isn't it also wonderful that He doesn't give us our every desire, because if He did we'd probably land ourselves in some hot water, lol. Praise Him for His Sovereignty in our lives, Amen!
Tourist - I thank you for sharing those moments and for being able to have your feet washed by others, as well as washing the feet of those who are in the body of Christ as well. God's encouragement has reached me many times by your willingness to love Him as poured out wine! Sometimes we don't always see who we touch - right? But as we remain in Christ we know He is touching all who are around us somehow.
We may be the mouthpiece for God's truth to the unsaved, but we cannot nourish the flock of God unless we are rightly related to the Shepard, unless we are willing to let God use us as broken bread and poured-out wine to feed His sheep. God Bless you for tarrying onward and upward in faith my friend, and may God Bless you for it as His will is served!
I know how hard it is to get out of bed when it is time to go to work. The workplace can often be a hard and hostile environment and the world itself will chew you up and spit you out. I call the act of getting out of bed, even if your tired and don't feel good, to go to work to meet your financial obligations 5 o'clock in the morning courage. I ask for this on my knees each morning before I go to work praying for God to provide for my daily needs and give me the strength and courage to venture boldly into the world and do the best that I can with what he provides.
Good Morning Vietnam! .... When I go to a worldly job I realize I must later wash my feet with my brethren's fellowship and with God's prayerful annointing for the worldliness as I experience it gets stuck on my shoes no matter how godly I am. Thus, I must wash my feet and have others wash them as well as I wash theirs.
Today I wake up and go again into the world!....Why? Well, to pay bills for one, but more than that - I know God is responsible for my life since He owns it - and the one great keynote is reckless reliance upon Him. As I tarry on into the world system I am right where God would have me be.
"Go into the world and preach the gospel," Jesus exclaims. Let us never forget who we are there - for we are separate from the world yet we serve it as the light and salt of God's message and messages. Jesus prayed to God for us to be protected there, so be confident and let God work thru you! AMEN! Let it be so!
Yes and we do look forward to that one, don't we. But in the meantime - HELLO dear one! Hope you're having a brilliant day. I slept in until 6.00am so I've probably missed ya, but hey, we have INTERNET Lol. :D Have a brilliant day at work and I look forward to talking with you a bit later.
Our God is GRACIOUS and merciful!
Reminds me lol:
Proverbs 16:24 "Gracious words are a honeycomb, sweet to the soul and healing to the bones." Lol
Thats right sister ... I am indeed a (child-like) child of God! And youthful yet in my physical demeanor, I might be bold enough to add Lol..., yet the body doth been judged, and as such, it is on its course towards decay and eventual death - and not re-vibrance. But this is the place God has put us all (even though the first Adam did some things that required God's actions). But alas in our New Creation we can delight in our youth and in our aged state alike, for what we look towards is the perfect transformed life lived without any contingencies of death at all! Which also comes with a vibrant new body in God's timing!
Yes indeedydoo! Isn't your youth renewed like the eagles? Like mine? Haha. And to think that all this time I thought I had been talking to a young man! :p Go figure. Well of course you are darling, just kidding lol. Goodnight to you, have a blessed sleep...
So it's agreed - I'm on that list haha. :D You're so funny and it makes me smile to know that we can be funny here together... Love you, have a great day - and allow the Lord to shine His greatness through you.
Gal 6:9 "Let's not get tired of doing what is good. At just the right time we will reap a harvest of blessing."
You are not a part of my LIST - You are a part of the Family of God! Hence, you are a part of my family (The Body of Christ)! So, welcome! .... I love meeting new family members I have yet met. There is an instant connection that way in the Spirit! In addition, you are a friend, thus you made the list Lol! :) Smile.
Hey! Thanks so much for including me! I'm so glad to be part of your list. :) Yes we can continue our conversations - be it on-going! In the name of Jesus, Amen! Peace, love and grace to you dear brother - will swing by a bit later... God bless you
2 Cor 9:8 "God is able to make all grace abound to you, so that having all sufficiency you may abound in every good work." Enjoy your evening lovely...
Welcome HisUnfailingLove. It is wonderful to have you here with me as a new close friend. It has been a joy for me to share in discussions and discoveries in His Word! Isn't it a revelation to know undaunted radiance is not built on anything passing, but on the Love of God that nothing can alter! The experiences of life we have begun discussing, terrible or wearisome, are impotent to touch the Love of God, which is in Jesus Our Lord. Welcome to the table - "Pure Sugar!" LOl.
Hi DeQuon - ...... Smile. It has been nice sharing in fellowship in the PM process more recently. Remember to "wait on the Lord," and to "rest in the Lord," is an indication of a healthy, Holy faith, while impatience is an indication of an un-healthy, un-holy unbelief. Keep up the honesty with God He is moving in to give you His life all the more day by day! Thank you for your encouragements!
So, I will join you in His worthy authority to accomplish what seems to be the impossible. Be encouraged to not look across from you into the mayhem, but instead look from above down to earth. I know there are many in my family, as well, on that prayer list. But instead of saying "Its up to them! God change them!" I pray, "Lord, You are the worthy authority, and knowing it is Your will, and having it also now be mine, I pray You break open the impossible and help me be apart of reconciliation of my loved ones to You by lifting You up! Lord, draw them to You .. In Jesus Name - Amen!" May God keep us humble to enable His authority to reign gloriously supreme and empowered in our workings for His purposes and intentions.

I'm doing good I suppose just wish my father and uncle would get right with God instead of being spiteful and prideful.
If this is to be a Joyful New Year, a year of usefulness, a year in which we shall live to make this earth better, it is because God will direct our pathway. How important then, to feel our dependence upon Him! We don’t know what the future holds, but we know Who holds the future! That makes me want to sing in Praises of My Father in Christ Jesus! We can make up new lists to accomplish but unless we have died to the right to ourselves, and become fully dependent on Christ Jesus we will simply repeat the mistakes of the past. But in Christ - ALL things are possible according to His will. Happy New Year Folks!
Jesus looked at them intently and said, "Humanly speaking, it is impossible. But with God everything is possible."
“‘For I know the plans I have for you,’ declares the LORD, ‘plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future’” ~ Jeremiah 29:11 (NIV)
