So you are judging what is clear..YOU ARE JUDGING ! and its clear that a homosexual is in a sin that God directly condemns ... so you think you can judge...but others cannot ?
No everyone can judge in that way, got questions explained the difference between right and wrong judging. If I say: don't judge, I mean don't judge someone's heart, not that you may not say that it's sin or that the person lives in sin, just not harsh and unforgiving and it may even be meant well and come from a good heart, but the guy that spoke to me who thought I was a lesbian, I thought he was a hateful bigot the way he spoke, but he was not. If I thought that, a gay or lesbian may think that too. He could change his approach and talk less harsh.

No dear brother, Jesus said he didn't come to judge, but to save. He said our own heart already condemns us. He delivers us from shame & humiliation & guilt. His love changes people, not condemnation. Threats of hellfire may keep people from doing a certain thing, but it won't change their heart. It will only keep them in fear.

The reason the world is more & more blind to Christ is because of folks representing him as an angry, horrid tyrant who expects people to crawl to him in fear. Remember the prodigal son crawling back saying he would ask his father if he could be a servant? His father didn't entertain that nonsense. That son NEVER lost his inheritance. He only lost SIGHT of it.

There is only ONE WAY people will turn from selfishness & foolish behavior, when they see US walking in liberty & love & joy & peace. When they see the fruit of the Spirit in US, they will get hungry for God. They will NEVER get hungry for salvation if it looks like God is Dungeon Master and we are his obedient slaves. YUCK!!!

We have to be the change we want to see in the world. And we all have to remind each other of that in love. I know I sure need reminding.
Save us from what? If we are not sinners? Are you really trying to sell the nonsense in this post?

Its sounds like you think you decide (judge) who can judge and when they can judge? I know God and I know His Word I have His Spirit ...I know when its time to judge and don't need you or any other person to tell me when or what to judge ...you worry about what you judge and let others answer to God for themselves.

Judge what you believe God wants you to judge...but don't tell me or other Godly people what and when we can judge ... its not your place.

LOL that was the last time I did some effort to explain the different meanings of judge and judge not. Good luck! I don't tell you anything anymore. You don't listen anyway.

I'm not judging you nor am I telling what you can or cannot do bro. Just offering my perspective which I also believe to have a basis in biblical truth.

"God forbid."
"God forbid."
Oh - and, lest we forget,
"God forbid."
- Paul
Romans 6:1,2,15, 1 Corinthians 6:15.
That is all I have to say.

It don't seem folks read that far into the book? seems many folks have bibles that stop somewhere half way through the gospels?

Ok that fair ...brother :) but also try to understand that I know what I believe and why I believe it...I have done real ministry for many years and have helped many sinners find life in Christ and walk in the Spirit ..and have life ...

The reason I choose holiness is not because of fear..but because I know that's where I find life In the Spirit ..but be sure that some folks need a good old dose of Godlly fear...that is clearly taught in the NT epistles.

Romans and Corinthians are past the halfway point of the NT?

Maybe because they have a bunch of folks...like the folks on this forum that are afraid to tell them the truth? If I listen to the people on this forum ...I would run back into sin...Thank God ...I know the bible and have the Holy Spirit.

I think I do understand. The place where I am coming from is that I was brought up under harsh judgment and rejection if I didn't perform in some fashion. If judgment comes across as rejection it can be incredibly destructive to a persons soul. We have to allow room for people to make mistakes.....imo. That said, I think there are many ways to share the gospel and not everyone receives things the same way. I guess I prefer the word discernment over judgement. The word judge or judgement is reserved for Jesus I think.

I think I understand your passion, Mitspa but we can't John the Baptist everybody. What we can do is say something is a sin in a tactful way with a heart of compassion for someone. But also we just need to love somebody, tell them about the gospel of Jesus Christ, and let the sword of the Spirit penetrate into their sinful heart. Besides Rosario Butterfield did not become saved because someone said homosexuality is a sin but because the pastor loved her as a human being. Thanks. God bless.

God condemns ALL sin. Being a practicing homo is no worse than robbing a bank. It's still all sin. And all sin is equal in GOD'S eyes.

I always thought all sin was equal in Gods eyes, but I am not so sure anymore. Jesus said of the person that knew Him but then denied Him that it would have been better if he had never known Him in the first place.
Jesus said in another place about those who hurt the little ones and a millstone around their neck and thrown into the water. I don't see Him saying that anywhere else. BTW, that does not bode well for those who continually perform abortions.
The bible has many instances where God seems to act quicker regarding those that profane His glory or name then in other instances of sin. Idol worship seems to be anther one that is singled out.
I said seems to because we can't be sure, but it looks that way.
