I hope ONELORDONEFAITHONEBAPTISM isn't one of them we were
having an interesting discussion, he seems to be one of the most
politest people I've seen on here.

Unfortunately someone figured out how to exploit the "like" system and this recent rash of "likes" by rather inappropriate nics are not from accounts that have been properly vetted and approved thus their inability to post anything. Our webmaster has been notified of the situation (and how it is happening) but it may take a few days to fix.

I'm sure you're aware of it, but for others, too, check the profiles on those nicks, a couple of them are identical...
...27yo s male chr. wisconson usa, and a third adds afghani flag, two others are identical, but user lists married instead of single. I've been tracking at least 7 of them since I noticed the first two. Sign up dates are all early June 7th, 10th, 11th, ...

One finally posted in the catholic thread, which I responded to....it was a lengthy laundry list of standard rc doctrines like Peter being the rock and the rc being 'The' church, etc.

He, or they, have been lurking around for a while.....seem to have an agenda, but have been playing it pretty cool.

I've been checking for patterns, times of day, diff threads, or certain ppl they may be 'liking' to try to find a link.

Anything more comes up, I'll be happy to share, tho I honestly don't want to be a false accuser, and I don't want to have any influence on the mods/admins, either pro or con, as that seems inappropriate, but I will help where needed if it's for the protection of the site and especially believers here that may be more vulnerable to 'enemy tactics'.

But I trust the sites officials to know what they're doing and to take care of the situation.

It's kind of funny, but sad also, to see the lengths some will go to, to try to destroy a good thing, when all they have to do is accept the love and grace of Jesus and join in the celebration.....
then, we have the Lord and each other to help work out our fears and frustrations and trials of life as we move ahead, knowing He's with us and leads us in His victory.

It's quite a blessed adventure, this thing called life in Christ. \/
My heart even now, breaks over some things, people, and yet soars, because I trust the Lord to take care of it all, and I know He's not done with me, or all of this yet, and it's exciting to see what He'll do next...I just pray to grow in His grace and knowledge as we go, and be used of Him for good things, even as I have a heavy heart at times, too.

Pray for those that don't believe in Jesus.

Pray for us who do, that our faith would strengthen
and we'd grow to love Him more.

One of these nics, with a VERY inappropriate name, liked something of mine. Even though that nic has been banned, is there a way to get their name off of the likes on my posting? I don't want to see that garbage on my posts.

you can disable the entire like for all of your posts.... but then obviously no one will be able to like them

Some unfortunately may not have much choice, but they mean no harm, others, though, are deliberately deceptive, and do not have everyone's, or perhaps anyone's, best interest at heart, including some who've been rumored to hide or alter their positions of authority, yet use it to either support or oppress others.

There are members who make mistakes or are misunderstood, are true believers who maybe can't catch a break,

and there are members who are downright devious but seem to wear teflon jumpsuits.

But the Lord knows all our hearts, and that's what matters most. God bless you.

I wonder why anyone would say they had no choice but to repeatedly break
the rules. It seems such a deceptive thing to say, and obviously untrue.

Maybe not so obvious.
Maybe out of love they tried every other option they could think of,
and it was a last resort, and it actually worked
to accomplish the reconcilliation, and both parties were glad of it,
and so was Jesus, as this is His main concern for His believers,
reconcilliation, unity, that they be one.

This is very different, and should be easily understood, forgiven and accepted by christians, than the deliberate deception and cruelty intended to cause harm, which is practiced by some.

One motivated by love and Jesus
to bring reconciliation, peace and joy, \/

the other motivated by hate and strife
to bring separation, turmoil and sadness.

Some things may seem obvious on the surface,
but often, man only sees the outward appearance
and makes rash judgements, but God sees the heart.
