I honestly refuse to do any exercise that I don't enjoy. I have specific things I do because I love doing them and they make me feel happy. I found the most effective exercises which are actually fun to do and I've stuck with them for years. They're more recreation to me than a workout.

I do free weights. I have hand-held weights as well as ankle and wrist weight wraps. I use them every single day because it's fun!!! to do while listening to music, or a radio program, or while watching "Too Cute" on the Animal Channel. LOL!

I walk every single day! I so look forward to it because I'm chatting away in my heart with God as He cleanses my mind of all heaviness and clutter. It's fun!!!

Pilates. I can't say enough about this exercise. I do this every other day at least. Get a book at the library or book store that explains simply how to do these exercises with ease. It teaches strengthening, flexibility, breathing, physical control, etc. and it's fun!!!

Insanity Workout - I found this 15 minute crazy workout on YouTube that is pretty intense but it's fun!!! because it's more like fast dancing than exercise. I do this workout a few times a week.

Quick tip: When I was in junior high school, our gym teacher told us girls to always remember to stand up straight and hold our stomachs in because it counts as an exercise. I remembered that the rest of my life and have done so. And she was right! It absolutely has strengthened my core and helped me bounce right back into shape after birthing three kids. :)

I did about an hour and a half of boxing work. I don't do it nearly as much as I used to, but I do own my own equipment, so I thought no reason not to. I haven't been to the gym in a couple of days actually and haven't really been eating much.. so I've dropped nearly five pounds in the last two days.. which isn't great tbh lol. But! Nothing's as fun as boxing, so yeah.. I actually enjoyed this workout. :)

I spent most of this week outdoors and never got to work out :( But! There's next week! I'll just have to.. start over.
Sometimes you take a few steps forward and then 30 million steps backwards. It's hard to work out and eat healthy when you have hit a wall....but the key to be successful is to do things when you don't want to do it.

Example, I am creating a habit of now coming home from work and IMMEDIATELY working out even when I don't feel like it.

I was road tripping this week so didn't get the time to. I can't fit it in my schedule if I'm working on that day cause... important reasons (like 12 hr shifts + travel time, and the must-have 8 hr beauty rest xD).

But this week will be better :)

Is that with Shaun T? Have you done the 45 minutes to an hour one?

Squatted 330 x 8 today, a personal best.

That's 3 weeks in a row that I've been at or over my goal (calculated).

I won't know for sure till I put the weight on the bar and get it on my back. But it gives me confidence!!

I got back to my workout routine today. And I just recently learned that I had to do stretching before working out... now I understand why the last few weeks, I had a hard time sleeping xD

Oh and I worked out to the music of Ariana Grande's Problem lol.

Also, I bought a weighing scale and weighed myself, I surprisingly became 22 lbs heavier in a week's time :O

I realised this scale does something weird when I put it on my yoga mat. I placed it on the tiled floor and I was back to my normal weight xD

Does anyone own a teeter? My wife recently purchased one. She heard from others who own one and from chiropractors that it's really good for your back.

I was going to buy one.

But I made a reverse hyperextension for the squat rack instead. It helped my back immensely.

i used the treadmill again yesterday.

lol before i took a break from it, i had the incline at 7, i think. when i got back on it thursday, i moved it to 6 because it had been a while. it was a good walk, and i felt comfortable. yesterday, i moved it to 8, and i said, "yes, i can do this!"

one minute into it, i said, "nope!!!" i moved the incline to 6.5 lol.
