I honestly refuse to do any exercise that I don't enjoy. I have specific things I do because I love doing them and they make me feel happy. I found the most effective exercises which are actually fun to do and I've stuck with them for years. They're more recreation to me than a workout.
I do free weights. I have hand-held weights as well as ankle and wrist weight wraps. I use them every single day because it's fun!!! to do while listening to music, or a radio program, or while watching "Too Cute" on the Animal Channel. LOL!
I walk every single day! I so look forward to it because I'm chatting away in my heart with God as He cleanses my mind of all heaviness and clutter. It's fun!!!
Pilates. I can't say enough about this exercise. I do this every other day at least. Get a book at the library or book store that explains simply how to do these exercises with ease. It teaches strengthening, flexibility, breathing, physical control, etc. and it's fun!!!
Insanity Workout - I found this 15 minute crazy workout on YouTube that is pretty intense but it's fun!!! because it's more like fast dancing than exercise. I do this workout a few times a week.
