I've always wanted to see Argentina... for some reason, I picture it much like our "wild west" back in the 1800's....
I have tried some powder coating, using the "shake" method.. and it works fairly well, depending on the humidity. It would be fun to set up an actual electrical booth with a powdercoating gun to get an even coat on the bullets before baking.
I've since gotten lazy, and simply buy bullets already coated. I let others do all the work...
I haven't done any casting in a couple of years. It is good to have the ability to do that, in case of any emergency, but as long as I can buy them cheaply enough, I will do that.
I haven't thought of plating.... that sounds like a fun project.
Have you read any of Elmer Keith's books? There is one called "Hell, I was THERE", which is a pretty good autobiography type of book.
He apparently was quite a character.
