I know a lot of people who should show love to others and instead spew hate and judgement, doing so in the name of Jesus no less. Hence the post in the first place. I've worked with teens and at risk youth off and on for quite a while now. I've had goth kids, kids who think they might be gay, pregnant teens and all sorts who have wounds because they've been told because the dress, or choices they've made or because they think a certain way God hates them. God doesn't hate anyone. We're made in His image and beautifully so. The "church" and "Christians" need to examine what we're doing. How many times is God reaching out to these kids and then someone in their own ignorance and pride shoving them away? We are doing damage. It isn't always that way and I don't believe it's a conscious decision but it is happening. Rather than everyone losing their minds and whipping out their scriptures I'm encouraging people to think from their hearts and listen to the Holy Spirit.
Thank you I appreciate your words

The Holy Spirit leaves no stone unturned.
Then your stone hasn't been unturned yet. I'd hate to see what kind of creeping things come crawling out.

Chatter23,
The Holy Spirit wrote the Bible through 40 people over 1500 years.
It is the history of the fallen nature of mankind and the necessity for the atonement. Many prophecies fulfilled, etc.
To think you can just listen to a voice in your head and get total truth, - without testing it against scripture is both dangerous and wrong.
I agree there is inspiration from the Holy Spirit to the believer, but it always lines up with the Holy Canon.
This is why christians are to study the Word of God, for in it are the Words of life,(everlasting life, God's eternal being).

Rick, I appreciate your good spirit, but, I get insight from the Holy Spirit. And as far as the fallen nature, I was once angry now I have no anger in me. I understand the fallen nature because I "take every thought captive" and see what is speaking to me. I know when it is a demon and I know when it is God, who has corrected me in my 45 year my walk with Him.
He is my God, my teacher, my healer and my savior. I once read scripture, but, I did not memorize it and now it comes to me when I need it from the Holy Spirit. I am being totally honest with you.
I don't expect anyone here to understand that, but it is true.
Thank you

Sin is ugly. When people are clothed with it, they too, look ugly.

People take it very personal wher you tell them their sin is ugly. They can come to the false conclusion that "Christians don't like me 'cause they say I'm ugly."

Sometimes it's true. People are "ugly" when they refuse to unclothe from their sin. People aren't "accepted in the beloved" while continuing to wear their sin. They don't understand that they cannot be holy until they take off the old garment & put on the pure white one Jesus gladly provided for them. They cannot see that refusing that pure white robe insults the One who provided it free of charge.

While it is true people's ignorance does damage, It's sinner's "willful ignorance" that damages the most. Such ignorance cannot be allowed among God's beloved, for a little leaven leavens the whole lump.

A sinner must be willing to put off the old man with his deeds if he wants to truly be that new man created in the image of Christ. There is no such thing as a "2-mastered" christian.

So what then? If a kid is goth we judge them? Who's to say they don't have an amazing relationship with Jesus? If someone falls short we're the hammer and they're the nail? I don't think so. But as I've said previously; if you're able, pick up that first stone. And if one of you does pick up that stone I remember, you're casting it into a mirror unto yourself.

Soooooo....... Goth & its origins aren't sinful?
Goth subculture - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

As I plainly said before, it's willful ignorance that destroys people:
Romans 12:1-2 (KJV) [SUP]1 [/SUP]I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service. [SUP]2 [/SUP]And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.

Conforming to this world hinders our salvation, our growth, and our witness. When we conform to the world we cannot prove what God's will is. IT IS SIN.

And how can you know who the beloved are and those that are deceived into thinking it is they who are.
Are you one who thinks they are? A

Are you the one who thinks they are good Christians when the truth is that "There are none good , but God".?

Oh you Christians have so much to learn with all of your bible study, you miss the meaning of " Be still and know."

Most such criticism in the church comes from the self-righteous who claim they have changed & wanna-be christians who refuse to change. Those who call them out end up being criticized from both sides.:)

We know we're in the last days when sin is called on the carpet & the church is ready to fight you over it. If only they would preach the Gospel like that.

Let the church do what it may, The church is a building made by hands, not God.

know that God is not stiff and even has a sense of humor.

Lighten up before you get sick or let your emotions take you over. Enjoy yourself a little bit and let God worry about the rest.

PS
This is what I have been saying all along and you posted it without understanding it.

When will Christians know the meaning of this.?

There have been cases where people have slandered and lied in church about people they do not like or are jealous of or stealing from even.

This can even be from people in positions of power and education such as catholic school teachers who may not ackknowlegde some one is educated or may discriminate and disable instead of empower because they have so much to win by doing so or priest who molest children and then blame the child or a group woman who say some one been prostitute and is gay when no such thing is true but may be there husband fancied this woman.....
Then all church judge people based upon lies and lies in church and lies in the name.

A woman confessed she had lied in church to people about some one she was jealous of.
She and a few others held a speach in church lying about some one which made community look at them based upon lies and they behaved badly based upon this while those who lied did true crime but covered up in church and looked and felt good.

Our Lord is the one to truly judge and whom knows all.

For how many innocent have been judged and christians are not always good or sometimes peplum may not be real christians but be in church to get power or hide crime and a muslim or enemy of church may pretend be christian so they get close and knowledge and power from inside.

Christians have some times had very bad behaviours and then judged good peopkle they are jealous of and lied about them like burning a witch who is a healer and a real witch does all knds of evil voodoo may get praised in church for she make her self look perfect roll model and nice and lie.

Agree we should be careful with judging and remember God knows all and God knows someone is being judged who is not in true sin.

Like that thought.
If all the people do not know or understand not even Gods people then remember God knows all and understands.
For if all the people judge and hate on you for sins that were not yours then remember God knows and understands it was not your sin and blessed you shall be one day.

God bless.

I'm talking about the Body of Christ. Buildings mean nothing except they're owned by God.

I know God has a sense of humor:
Psalm 2:1-5 (KJV) [SUP]1 [/SUP]Why do the heathen rage, and the people imagine a vain thing? [SUP]2 [/SUP]The kings of the earth set themselves, and the rulers take counsel together, against the LORD, and against his anointed, saying, [SUP]3 [/SUP]Let us break their bands asunder, and cast away their cords from us. [SUP]4 [/SUP]He that sitteth in the heavens shall laugh: the Lord shall have them in derision. [SUP]5 [/SUP]Then shall he speak unto them in his wrath, and vex them in his sore displeasure.

Psalm 37:12-15 (KJV) [SUP]12 [/SUP]The wicked plotteth against the just, and gnasheth upon him with his teeth. [SUP]13 [/SUP]The Lord shall laugh at him: for he seeth that his day is coming. [SUP]14 [/SUP]The wicked have drawn out the sword, and have bent their bow, to cast down the poor and needy, and to slay such as be of upright conversation. [SUP]15 [/SUP]Their sword shall enter into their own heart, and their bows shall be broken.

Psalm 59:5-10 (KJV) [SUP]5 [/SUP]Thou therefore, O LORD God of hosts, the God of Israel, awake to visit all the heathen: be not merciful to any wicked transgressors. Selah. [SUP]6 [/SUP]They return at evening: they make a noise like a dog, and go round about the city. [SUP]7 [/SUP]Behold, they belch out with their mouth: swords are in their lips: for who, say they, doth hear? [SUP]8 [/SUP]But thou, O LORD, shalt laugh at them; thou shalt have all the heathen in derision. [SUP]9 [/SUP]Because of his strength will I wait upon thee: for God is my defence. [SUP]10 [/SUP]The God of my mercy shall prevent me: God shall let me see my desire upon mine enemies.
