I'm talking about the Body of Christ. Buildings mean nothing except they're owned by God.

I know God has a sense of humor:
Psalm 2:1-5 (KJV) [SUP]1 [/SUP]Why do the heathen rage, and the people imagine a vain thing? [SUP]2 [/SUP]The kings of the earth set themselves, and the rulers take counsel together, against the LORD, and against his anointed, saying, [SUP]3 [/SUP]Let us break their bands asunder, and cast away their cords from us. [SUP]4 [/SUP]He that sitteth in the heavens shall laugh: the Lord shall have them in derision. [SUP]5 [/SUP]Then shall he speak unto them in his wrath, and vex them in his sore displeasure.

Psalm 37:12-15 (KJV) [SUP]12 [/SUP]The wicked plotteth against the just, and gnasheth upon him with his teeth. [SUP]13 [/SUP]The Lord shall laugh at him: for he seeth that his day is coming. [SUP]14 [/SUP]The wicked have drawn out the sword, and have bent their bow, to cast down the poor and needy, and to slay such as be of upright conversation. [SUP]15 [/SUP]Their sword shall enter into their own heart, and their bows shall be broken.

Psalm 59:5-10 (KJV) [SUP]5 [/SUP]Thou therefore, O LORD God of hosts, the God of Israel, awake to visit all the heathen: be not merciful to any wicked transgressors. Selah. [SUP]6 [/SUP]They return at evening: they make a noise like a dog, and go round about the city. [SUP]7 [/SUP]Behold, they belch out with their mouth: swords are in their lips: for who, say they, doth hear? [SUP]8 [/SUP]But thou, O LORD, shalt laugh at them; thou shalt have all the heathen in derision. [SUP]9 [/SUP]Because of his strength will I wait upon thee: for God is my defence. [SUP]10 [/SUP]The God of my mercy shall prevent me: God shall let me see my desire upon mine enemies.
I have no response that will help you sir. You have been brainwashed.

I Love so much that it hurts me when I see people that are supposed to be showing the same kind of Love pushing it aside for the sake of their reputation and unwillingness to speak Truth. Truth can sound like hate to most people, but it is really Love. If I hated you, I would shut up.

Soooooo....... Goth & its origins aren't sinful?
Goth subculture - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

As I plainly said before, it's willful ignorance that destroys people:
Romans 12:1-2 (KJV) [SUP]1 [/SUP]I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service. [SUP]2 [/SUP]And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.

Conforming to this world hinders our salvation, our growth, and our witness. When we conform to the world we cannot prove what God's will is. IT IS SIN.
You sure like being the hammer don't you? Throw those stones man, and be prideful in your 'perfection.'

I love that instead of understanding something like the gothic style, you immediately run to wiki and use it as a factual source. The level of ignorance this shows is mind numbing. You're so quick to bible bash and judge others; it makes me sad.

Hey, I know peeps just do these things to fit in..... because someone in that group accepted them. But if they're serious about the Lord, they need to be taught about what these groups stand for..... & be encouraged to leave them.

To fit in? Sunshine, I've got news for you; I've been categorized as 'goth' for years. It has nothing to do with acceptance or old culture. It's comfy and it works. I've been in youth ministry for years and guess what? I've reached more people in a pair of tripp pants than you'd think. Do I wear jeans and t-shirts too? Sure. Christians don't need to be these cookie cutter creatures who dress up on Sundays and walk around like robots. We should be free to be expressive and embrace creativity. Why do we have to categorize people by how they dress when what's really important as what is written on our hearts!?

Because he likes to troll around the forums and tell everyone what a Christian is and isn't supposed to be, as if his opinion is the only one. Which is why i put him on ignore.

Styles don't make a christian...... but they have been proven to break them because of the repercussions from them. You won't be able to change all those naysayers........ but you can change your style & shut them down. I guess it depends on the value of these little ones, doesn't it?

1 Corinthians 8:7-13 (KJV) [SUP]7 [/SUP]Howbeit there is not in every man that knowledge: for some with conscience of the idol unto this hour eat it as a thing offered unto an idol; and their conscience being weak is defiled. [SUP]8 [/SUP]But meat commendeth us not to God: for neither, if we eat, are we the better; neither, if we eat not, are we the worse. [SUP]9 [/SUP]But take heed lest by any means this liberty of yours become a stumblingblock to them that are weak. [SUP]10 [/SUP]For if any man see thee which hast knowledge sit at meat in the idol's temple, shall not the conscience of him which is weak be emboldened to eat those things which are offered to idols; [SUP]11 [/SUP]And through thy knowledge shall the weak brother perish, for whom Christ died? [SUP]12 [/SUP]But when ye sin so against the brethren, and wound their weak conscience, ye sin against Christ. [SUP]13 [/SUP]Wherefore, if meat make my brother to offend, I will eat no flesh while the world standeth, lest I make my brother to offend.

If our style causes the stumbling of others, our fault or not, we shouldn't do it. If we are able to get those little ones to change their style, we could take a huge load off of their shoulders from the critics. They need that. They're the ones that count, right?

Its cute you can weaponize the bible and continue to troll. I'm done wasting my time even debating with you. I hope God breaks you of these habits and this way of thinking because you're going to do a lot more harm then good this way.

I hate it when people rush at one another in the 'name of God' in judgement. We're supposed to love one another, not cast stones from glass houses. I see a lot of condemnation and a spirit of fear and religion that's stalking around here sometimes and it makes me sad. Jesus taught love and forgiveness and he condemned the religious leaders and those with a religious spirit calling them "a den of vipers." If you don't like something someone is doing love the sinner and hate the sin. Pick them up and love them rather than kick them when they're down.
Absolutely beautiful. But there's one thing wrong; We're all human. It's who we are. There's this saying; You can't teach an old dog new tricks. That's us. No matter what we say, or do, we end up doing the total opposite sometimes. I know, ecause I've been there.

"Don't judge someone just because they sin differently than you"
I think we can all learn something. Guess that's why we all need Jesus. If we try ourselves, to change who we are, we'll fall flat on our face. Instead, we should surrender to the Lord. In the end, isn't He all that matters?

God bless.

The ignore feature blocks the ignored users posts, not the posts that quote that user. If someone had you on ignore they would not see your original post however they would see your post quoted within mine. The only reason Ugly saw Stephan63's post is because Seraph_Aximili quoted Stephan in his post.

Some tidbits for those who are rocking those religious, judgmental and hateful mindset and bible bashing:

Matt 6:14 If you forgive people for their offenses, God will also forgive you.

Matt 7:3-4
“Why do you look at the speck of sawdust in your brother’s eye and pay no attention to the plank in your own eye? How can you say to your brother, ‘Let me take the speck out of your eye,’ when all the time there is a plank in your own eye?1 Peter 3:9 Don't repay evil for evil. Don't snap back at those who say unkind things about you. Instead pray for God's help for them, for we are to be kind and loving to others. God will bless us for this.
Luke 18:9-12 To some who were confident of their own righteousness and looked down on everyone else, Jesus told this parable: “Two men went up to the temple to pray, one a Pharisee and the other a tax collector. The Pharisee stood by himself and prayed: ‘God, I thank you that I am not like other people—robbers, evildoers, adulterers—or even like this tax collector. I fast twice a week and give a tenth of all I get.’ “But the tax collector stood at a distance. He would not even look up to heaven, but beat his breast and said, ‘God, have mercy on me, a sinner.’ “I tell you that this man, rather than the other, went home justified before God. For all those who exalt themselves will be humbled, and those who humble themselves will be exalted.”
