No ...we just don't teach our young men to play a girls sport.... well most of us don't 
While I can't understand how people can get so excited watching a 2-3 hour game that ends in a 0-0 tie, you can't argue that it's the most popular sport in the world. Maybe not here in America, but by far it's the world's sport. There's a reason why NFL Europe has closed down, and why no one really cares about the CFL. I'm for football, but I mean there's a reason why it works just for us whereas soccer works for everyone else. As for girl's sports, basketball is also a girl's sport, and we all know the success basketball has had not just here in the US, but across the world. Kids in South America, Europe, and Asia right now are practicing to be the next Kobe Bryant and LeBron James, two American sport icons.

Love watching a good football game. NFL or College Ball preferable to CFL, but at our house we go into a funk when football season is over. It's the female population watching and understanding the game at our house. My late husband watched it with me just because I enjoyed it. My poor son is the only one in the house that can't understand why people would near kill each other just for a oval shaped ball. During this season football has given us something to focus on rather then the pain of losing someone special. Bitter sweet.

It's just so sad that the SEC has a few decent teams that roll over horrible teams and thus have great records.
Some have harder conferences such as the PAC-12 with more difficult teams and thus have more losses... but could be better than some of those SEC teams

Everyone knows the SEC is by far the best conference ... I mean Vandy could beat about all the teams in the PAC-12
