Really?... Yea if you don't count when they play good teams . #3 Michigan State, #12 Northwestern, #5 Iowa blown-out ... bad.... I think they have been some bad overrating of this conference ....

now, let's review this: as of jan.2 the sec is 6-2. and have looked good ( except for 1 team who lost by 30 chomp chomp ??? ) might not be quite as down??

After Jan 11 the SEC will be 7-3. It has been an awesome conference and I'm saying this as a Big 10 guy. I predict that Alabama will be the national champion (yet again).

What do you mean yet again? Buckeyes were the first national champions of college football.

Again though... How many bowl games are there? There were teams that went 5-7 that made a bowl. Cmon. Let's admit that's ridiculous. Let's admit teams like Auburn only got a bowl because college football handed them out like Oprah does prizes. It doesn't change the regular season. I didn't see Tennessee putting up a beating. I'll give you that. They underachieved all year and I'm glad to see they played to potential. But Auburn played like crap all season. One bowl game that They had a month to prepare for isn't going to change that. Not when there are more bowl games than days in the month of December.

Pssst, not sure if you've noticed, but the entire eastern division for the National Conference is the country's laughingstock.

(Eagles fan. It hurts all over, but at least it is over.)

I'd tell you when Pitchers and Catchers report for spring training, except I am a Philadelphia fan, so know there is no silver-lining. All four of our teams stink.

Blue Ladybug? Feel free to take away the baseball, basketball, and hockey puck too. PLEASE!

Its all relative ...like Tenn...Auburn fans expect them to compete for a championship ..... much different standards in the SEC than in other conferences ...

I don't get that. Which fans don't expect their teams to compete in a championship at the beginning of every conference and level of football there is -- including Pop Warner teams? What makes Auburn different?

Well the standards of the SEC teams are much higher than in other conferences ... Auburn expects its teams to compete with Alabama and has a standard by the fans and the college that demand much more than most other schools. So when folks say Auburn is in a mess or doing bad ... most other schools would love to have their coaches and players that are some of the best in the nation...so its all relative

and this is why it is hard in the sec. uga ( my team ) u.t. aub. bama, Lsu, fla, all expect to win 10-11 games at least each year. so there is going to be some disappointed fan bases. excellence is expected, not hoped for.

Looks like the SEC is back on top.... :) Now after rooting for Alabama ...its time to talk some trash about them :)

Anyone watching the NFL ...bout to watch KC and the Pats..... should be a good game
