Faithful and True

my God is faithful and true
as I look to the right and left
wave after wave
through the turmoil of life;
He is with me.

I am not alone
for his spirit leads and guides me
where to go and where not to go.

My eyes arise
to the Heavens
and he is there
smiling at me.

I raise my hands in surrender
as I am saturated in eternity
oh how my Jesus how he loves me
how he has a wonderful plan for me.
He sees me as I am.

because of his blood
I am no longer rejected
i am accepted.
I am new.

For he is the one
forever faithful
forever true.​

comparing yourself to others
is like a poison. It's not good,
this world is a never ending competition.
You just got to realize that,
nobodies gonna win that contest.

Just be thankful to God for what you have
and you will begin to realize what you have.

Gods mercies are new every morning
great is his faithfulness and love
that endures forever​

Forsaken?

God did not turn his back on you.
You turned your back on him.

you pretend as if you fear God yet
you carouse with the wicked and speak blasphemies against him.
He hears and knows your evil deeds,
and they are accounted for.
Everyone.

In his kindness and mercy he has not raised his
hand in anger against you.

It was man that had forsaken God.

Behold there has been an open door
To enter into his presence freely,
through the blood of his son Jesus.
yet you did not listen nor adhere
to any of the teaching.

So you wallow in your own confusion,
judgment, self pity, and darkness
behind Gods back..​

Hebrews 12 encourages the believer to keep 'looking unto Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith'.

Then, if it is His will for us to have fellowship and friendship with others, too, who keep 'looking unto Jesus', He will surely reveal His will in His good time.

The Old House

Why do I keep visiting this old house?
It's come undone by the cruelty of time.
There really was no time to rewind.
So many plans, and with all life's demands
I couldn't repair it.

I had this dream that it was made new,
It was comfortably fit for two,
and it had a garden
full so they had no hunger or need.

Now looking back at the old house
I realize I couldn't fix it alone.
It was too damaged and broken.
I guess that's how it goes.

It's hard to let go
To see things without

without..

I need strength.

God give me strength.​

When Torment Rages

Ever get so hungry, that you flip through pages?
You skim, search, and read, trying to fill a need; but the torment still rages.
Ever thirst so bad, that you drink in different content?
You find, "like." and "share," trying to fill a need; but the torment still rages.
Ever feel so unheard, that you connect through writing?
You dream, draw, and jot, trying to fill a need; but the torment still rages.
Ever want God so much, that you give up on your plans?
God knows, sees, and loves, wanting to fill your needs; and God does.

to say goodbye.
Not a single tear to dry.

Always so cold.

Lingering residue from the fireplace
filled with ashen firewood,
Left from a fiery blaze
that consumed everything
in it's place,
Had left me floating
in the darkest parts of outer space.

Its cold out there..
and you are still so far away.

Yeah, it's a terrible Poem, and bad metaphor, I'm not good at expressing everything.
but that's what love is like to me. If you use your imagination you could interpret it several ways..both good and bad..

It doesn't matter...

Love is like..

Leaving devastation in its wake
it could only be a "good feeling"
taken out of context.
Utterly leaving me in ruins
and ashes sending my
soul to the sky.

I crumble in between the stars
unable to gain a foothold
I look and there is no ground to be found
Unseen and without a trace.

love that
Had left me floating

It's cold out here,
