I guess that proves that someone was there to hear the cup of coffee drop, and he didn't let it go to waste either ;)

It's always nice to encourage others to think a little.

Once in awhile I play around with Idioms. .....which makes me sound idiotic.
Say if someone is looking for advice on something I feel is sort of trivial......I might say:

"Well you know how the old saying goes?......you can walk backwards towards a sunset, but a whale still calls it home?"

or

"Well...you can lead a dog to a blanket, but you can't teach it how to fish on Sundays."

Yes, I get stares....but they also have to think for a moment.:D
...and thinking is fun.

I know.
Genius.

Oh, Thank you, thank you, thank you!

Ya done did it for me. The first crack up I've had all day - wet face and all.

You really need to write a lot of these and post them for when one of us is feeling down ... namely me - 'cuz they sure did the trick in my head. Flipped my brain around to the Happy side.

LOLOLOLOL!

Thank you!!!

And yeah that song that Jacob posted was so beautiful, reminded me of some baroque and early music.

Wow! This is So Bee-U-tee-Full. My two brothers play classical, so this relaxed me much.

Nice atmosphere here at the Inn.

Thank you greatly, Seester! :D

*plops down weakly into seat* Rest is definately what I need, but my recent flu based illness is keeping me awake and now I seem to be suffering exhaustion. On top of this I maybe developing a fever, and my first class for the semester starts in 7 hours.

Help.

If you're already in the midst of it, this probably won't help much, but Zicam has helped to keep the worst of my cold symptoms at bay. Consume lots of vitamin C! Oranges, kiwi, papaya, grapefruit, mango, etc. They work wonders. :) Hope you feel better soon!

P.S. You plopped down on my spot...

Amen - sure do need laughter. Do hope you'll write a book of those "fer-instance-idioms".

Thank you so much, my day was crazy. It was up and down to the point I broke down in tears because I was exhausted. On the uptick at the moment though, going to bed and hopefully it's all night. But I gotta say god is good

Is 52:3
For thus says the LORD, "You were sold for nothing and you will be redeemed without money."

Is 62:11-12
Behold, the LORD has proclaimed to the end of the earth,
Say to the daughter of Zion, “Lo, your salvation comes;
Behold His reward is with Him, and His recompense before Him.”
And they will call them, “The holy people,
The redeemed of the LORD”;
And you will be called, “Sought out, a city not forsaken.”

Ps 107:2
Let the redeemed of the Lord say so, Whom He has redeemed from the hand of the adversary

Thank you to EVERYONE that prayed for me. I'm feeling better, my classes are great, it's warm here, I got plenty of rest, only wearing comfy shoes from now on, and I now have a special guy in my life. Life. Is. Wonderful. :)

It is so liberating to say "I don't know."
