Racism and police brutality. Now granted some people jump to that any time there is an incident, but I have seen it for real. I have seen videos of people trying to understand why they are being arrested, and the police officer instead reacting with violence and anger. I understand resisting arrest is a crime, and some people use talking as a sort of segway to trying to run, but when you see a person refusing to let a policeman in the door and the policeman baging in, having their knee to their neck and a gun at their head....It just makes me angry.

Like I'm speaking of a specific video where a cop has not answered anything or given any kind of reason why he is at the house, gun to a man's head, and the man is screaming "Please don't shoot me"

This is not meant to be "offensive" I understand CC reaches out to these people so I will be careful in saying sometimes not all the time I get offended by transexuals not only are they really hurt individuals but also it offends me a man degrading my feminity and disrespecting it by dressing up as a woman- it makes me feel less than a woman or that something is wrong with my feminity and vice versa with women dressing up like men
I do try and love them share the gospel with them and I dont hate them on purpose but sometimes its been offensive

I sometimes wonder if God is slowing me down to save me from something that Satan would want to happen to me.

Things that offend me...

- When someone doesn't put that little bar behind their stuff at the checkout counter so the cashier knows where their stuff ends and the next person's begins

- When people don't flush (nastyness to the max!)

- when people don't say thank you

- when I order a burger with no pickles and they put extra pickles(!!)

- when the media and the critics say that some movie is really good and then you see it and find out its really stupid

- when your favorite cable tv drama ends after several seasons even though its still really really good :(

- when I get home and find out I bought regular christmas lights instead of LED christmas lights (offended myself)

If it's yellow, let it mellow. We're in a drought, man! :p

So you're one of those "I don't support Hitler, but just support his Nazi troops" type eh?
I won't even dignify that stupid statement with a response other than to say its a stupid statement and you're still very wet behind your naive little ears. As far as post #69, there's not much to debate. Socialists throughout history have destroyed everything they get their hands on. America is next.

>lists that statists are offensive
>implying being an anarchist or at the very least and anti-colonialist (lol which I'm not. anti-colonialism is silly and for liberal Marxists)
>gets labeled a liberal
>oh the joys of conservative Muricans

So you're one of those "I don't support Hitler, but just support his Nazi troops" type eh?
Do you know what Godwins law is? It sort of goes like this....the first person to mention hitler or the nazi's in an online discussion automatically loses the debate.

Sweden has a lot of socialist policies and they seem to be doing alright.

This is a test isn't it?... because I've seen that massive chain with every offense labled on individual links... that thing has wrapped me up more times than I care to announce. .all because I made a decision to pick up one link... I rather like freedom than bondage... that chain is like a snake...no thanks, not today, no way!

my own sin, sin in the church, and heresy... those 3 things offend me. interestingly enough though i don't get that offended over a lost sinner sinning when compared to finding it in the church. My own sin grieves me and i thank God for grace which forgives me, empowers me to overcome, and live victoriously. Heresy on the other hand is another thing. i have no tolerance or patience for it, i'll stand and fight tooth and nail against it.

Since we're living in the great apostasy and experiencing the great falling away you see it everywhere. i've even noticed quite a bit of it on here. granted some people aren't seasoned and experienced or knowledgable about the word of God (theology) due to a lack of training by the local church, or recent conversion. However i've also seen a lot of gnostics in the chatrooms, who are either classical gnostics or neo-gnostics of a hundred varieties. It makes for a very hostile environment to anyone with a biblical worldview. For that cause i'm rarely on here anymore.

It's a shame to see some - maybe a lot - of that hostility stem from those that are seasoned and experienced/knowledgeable about the word of God, too. Thanks for sharing, cueball. Maybe you should frequent us a little more often. :)

Getting back to the OP, I was going to say lying. Because if you can't trust someone's word, you can never trust them. Was it one lie, or two or all the time? Of course, this really is a Biblical issue - "do not bear false witness." (Exodus 20:16) Ethics is important whether you are a Christian or not.

However, someone reminded me how much I utterly detest (this is personal!) people telling me the reason I am sick is because I don't have enough faith, or I have not prayed enough. Yep, I really get the dander up at this one. If I could figure out a way to control my RA, I might feel different, but hitting me when I am already down - that just does NOT work for me.

I'm off to see the debate. I may even join in as a solidly conservative, semi-socialist! LOL

People who misuse and abuse labels. Some people are so pc they object entirely to the use of labels, which is wrong (labels are like stereotypes... They aren't always true, but there's usually something true in them, otherwise they wouldn't exist); other people use labels as an excuse for their bad behavior and/or mistreating other people. Other people are so mentally constipated that they can't see potential beyond labels, which they perceive to be concrete instead of variable. Labels are for description, not restriction, people.
