I would say if it's 20 degrees below zero you can't have enough, if it's 120 degrees outside you probably would need little lol :) jk.

A closet should only be cleaned out once every 20 years. Is your closet safe then? lol
Funny you say that; on Wednesday it would have been my 20th anniversary, but as of today the divorce takes effect, so I guess my closet is safe. ;)

I came to think of a tip I read the other day:

Put all the clothes you own inside out.
When you use them (or rather, when you put them back), put them back the right way.
At the end of a year, donate all inside- out clothes to charity, you won't miss them anyway

I'm not a woman who has to have lots of clothes, but I like enough variety I don't have to wear the same thing twice in a couple of weeks. So about 2 weeks worth of wardrobe, and some things that are mix and match.

Except for that moth-eaten sweater Mom made me before she died (in 1972), or my No Nukes T-shirt that wouldn't fit a cat anymore, or those shocking-yellow hot pants that might come in style again some day and 60 isn't too old to wear them anyway, right, and that lovely gown I wore to Dad's wedding 35 years ago, and... right?

(Scary thing is I really do have all those clothes I mentioned. lol)

So, no matter what happens you really really have to do laundry in no more than two weeks time?

I really don't have a limit or minimum for clothes really..... I don't really shop that often so once I find something I like, I get it, but I won't go shopping again for like 5-6 months at a time if not more. Basically all I need is clothes for home, clothes for work, and clothes for church.

The one thing I do overindulge in sometimes is accessories. I have a lot of little plastic costume jewelry and way too many scarves.

LOL I go shopping once every 5-10 years. (I hate clothes shopping and I'm not a easyfit.)

I want to correct what I said before. I now have FIVE long sleeve T-shirts. Someone was giving shirts the the vets, but there biggest size was only a Large. Too small for Jon, but my size!

Yeah, I need at least an XL to fit me through the shoulders, but all t-shirts have sleeves that are too small. I have 18.5" circumference biceps.

I have a little pot belly, but I'm still a beefcake. LOL

The problem I have with leather clothes is I have to get around to taking them to the cleaners eventually, and it cost a lot. (I'm cheap. lol)
I have quite a few leather jackets, and quite a few other (bomber) jackets, and so rotate them, so each one doesn't get worn that often...I have a lovely Italian tan lamb's leather bomber jacket from 1986 which has never been cleaned as yet, but it is now lovely and soft...

I haven't bought a single article of new clothing except for underwear and socks in...over 9 years. I find such nice stuff at the thrift stores, even shoes! I can't even believe people throw out nearly new clothing that is so good!
