While I do not endorse coffee you can try "bullet proof coffee". It definitely reduces the harmful aspects of it.

  • 1 cup hot fresh brewed organic coffee.
  • 1 tbsp grass-fed butter. (better to use almond milk)
  • 1 tbsp coconut oil or MCT oil.
  • 1 tbsp organic vanilla extract.
  • 5 tbsp grass-fed gelatin.
  • 1 capsule of an alkalizer formula.
  • can sweeten to taste with stevia or equivalent. Maple syrup or coconut syrup tastes better then stevia.

Have you been led by Spirit to quit coffee?? I am.
I would encourage you to start purifying your system with water instead. It startling when you see people insist that they need surplus of 8 cups of coffee each morning just to start their day as they have no energy indicative of an unhealthy lifestyle overall. Caffeine, sugar and milk are some of the most unhealthy things you can have at any time, but in particular when you start your day. Try fruit, grains, nuts and water as a few starter alternatives.

Have you been led by Spirit to quit coffee?? I am. And I can say- oh, it's even harder than quitting smoking. Tomorrow is my next attempt to stop, it's so haaard, previously I could go even one month without it and then suddenly I got migraine and I found I could drink "just one" coffee to make myself feel better...And so here I am - again struggling to quit. Moderation You may ask? I can' t, for me it' s all or nothing. I just need some advices or your story about this..Thank you.
This I can never understand, I've never really drunk much coffee lol

4 days without coffee..I can tell you I felt sooo bad, headaches were killing me, I couldn't function properly till today. Tell me about coffee being innocent, hah?! Such withdraw symptoms are similar to quitting drugs. I compeletely agree with God wanting me to quit this beverage. I dont need it to rule my life, although I didnt drink it that much - in morning only and maybe 1 cup in afternoon. And still coffee made this feeling of warmth, gave "energy" etc. Naaaaah! God is the one who gives all of that!! Bye, cofffeeeeee, I'm done with your socially acceptable drug status and lies!
Seems to me that your coffee consumption was actually very moderate. There are reports of medical benefits for drinking a moderate amount of coffee. Based on your post there is no way that your consumption was ruling your life. Seems a shame to give up one of the simple pleasures of drinking this beverage. If God is actually telling you to quit drinking coffee then please do so. Fortunately He has not told me to do this.

This is truly a sick country. In the singles thread they are going on like coffee is an acceptable food.
I often say to myself, if people are this clueless about what to put in their God created bodies, how lost are they when it comes to the deep things of God?
I am afraid many Christians are.
This is why the type of Christianity practiced in this country is so compromised.

Sounds like a horrid brew. I drink my coffee black.

What exactly wrong with drinking coffee? There is certainly no biblical prohibition against it. What's the use of living if you take no enjoyment from the sustenance that keeps you alive? There is such a thing as quality of life verses strictly the quantity of it. Seems that there has to be a balance of both to have any enjoyment in day to day living.

You wean yourself off the coffee to avoid headaches.
Suppose you drink four cups a day. Reduce that amount to 3 cups for a week or ten days. Then reduce to 2 cups for same amount of time. Then one cup for about a month, but during that month, skip at least one day each week with no coffee. Then go two days with no coffee. Then three. Then four. Then five. After that, You are coffee free. Congratulations!

What is wrong with coffee? What is it about coffee that angers you? I am being sincere.
What about the hoards of processed foods and treats?
What separates coffee from the rest all the other foods and drinks we consume?

Does anyone know why coffee is tagged or singled out from among the general foods that we usually consume. Processed foods are unhealthy. Along with probably 90% of food in grocery stores. Just don't know why coffee is any different. Is wrong to eat a candy bar. Pizza!
I am sincere in my question.

I'm going to buy a Snicker's bar tomorrow to eat with my coffee. Pizza? That's what I'm talking about. :)

Well Tourist, did you buy Snicker's and eat with your coffee?
Do you have any idea why coffee is singled out from among all other foods and beverages?
I am sincerely asking.
If someone believes it is wrong to drink coffee, that's fine. But saying it is wrong and not explaining why, that's going to cause a brew. I gots to know. WHY IS IT WRONG TO DRINK COFFEE?

It isn't wrong to drink coffee. God is the one who gave us coffee beans, after all.. LOL.. The caffeine in it probably isn't good, but it shouldn't affect a person too much unless they drink a dozen cups a day..

Actually, I totally forgot about the Snicker's.

I think that people say it's wrong to drink coffee is the same reason that they say it's wrong to drink alcohol, their knowledge of scripture is immature. They would suffer guilt from what otherwise is a act that is not sinful. This is called scruples.

There are those also that say it is wrong to play musical instruments in church, or have a woman in a leadership positon or that women must not wear pants. Yes, I know that this sounds crazy.

The truth is that God wants us to have life and have it more abundantly. That does not mean that we should abuse our body but there is certainly nothing wrong with enjoying a double espresso with an apple fritter. Sugar is bad for you too, you know, and the fritters are not gluten-free. Thank God for coffee and sweets and just give me that old fashion rock n roll.

My wife is bringing home some fast food from Checker's so I'm good.

Okay. Thank you! I hope the person who says it is wrong, will also respond.

If you want to call it balance, then go ahead. I call it compromise regarding Gods diet for us. I also call it bio chemically incompatible with our physiology.

If you want to compromise your bodies design then expect compromised health.

If you want to see what is wrong with coffee, go the singles coffee thread. It's (mostly) listed there in my posts.
