I honestly am not a big fan of being an internet junkie, I prefer to look at an online forum as a means to meet people in real life (and by "people" I mean young women of marriageable age haha!)

Am I alone in thinking this way? I am dead serious too. What the hell is the point of spending hours online talking with strangers?? I have heard more than one medical study that internet takes away passion and makes people depressed. Anyhow, I am interested in living out the gospel concretely in the context of a committed relationship, not virtually with people whom I will never ever associate with in real life!
Would any young woman prefer to Skype with me sometime?

Sincerely,
28Man_Seeking_Wife

You must be seriously desperate to make post after post on this. Desperation is not an attractive trait for either gender.

Ladies (and guys)... be leery of ANY man (or woman) trying to get you off the site to chat before you've had time to get to know them. All this does is remove accountability because things said/done off of CC are not reportable to CC, so the user suffers no consequence.

Maybe you should spend more time in prayer regarding your future wife or actually go on a Dating Site... Hmm... Actually that would make more sense in relation to your purpose... So why waste time here?

I like your style big guy! Virtual Reality is not the same as getting a flesh and blood squeeze and a kiss from a woman who is real. I am in 100% agreement with the second sentence of your post. At the same time though while I am surfing the site I try to take the time to smell the roses and to be a help, with the grace of God, to those that I meet on the way.

Eventually, you and I will be banned from Christian Chat. To me, that would be a sad turn of events.

"Christian Chat', as I understand, connotes conversation about things that are of the essence of Christianity. I would think that my openness in finding a Christian wife is pertinent to a Christian way of life, is it not? What gives with you? Did my anti-feminist statements rub you the wrong way?

I agree with your last paragraph completely. It is also a fact that there have been many internet romances that have blossom and flourished into an enduring marriage based on the spiritual values of God. I too, caution everyone to be very careful and to fully get to know the other person before leaving the reservation.

Dude, or whatever you are, please tell me how it is "Christian" for you to insult me by calling me desperate? Even if I am, what the **edited** is it to you?? I would think that the proper Christian response would be to aid a desperate person, not insult them to try to make yourself feel better about your own estate... Why don't you just tell the truth that you have an eminent hatred for me simply because of the fact that you know that I am Catholic as my previous exchanges with you reveal??

Yes people, listen to "ugly", the individual who has been sitting around "chatting" online for 3 years, he/she will lead you right! He is not desperate AT ALL! He has all his ducks in order in life... (sarcasm) It makes NO sense to venture off of a **edited** chat room to actually have a real conversation with someone... (more sarcasm) Hey I wonder by the way, are you married, "ugly?" If so, how many times now??

I'm closing this thread because of the drama and also because the OP has six threads on the forums, and four of them are basically about seeking a wife.

http://christianchat.com/christian-...yr-old-man-seeking-desperate-woman-marry.html

http://christianchat.com/christian-...m-seeking-meet-christian-woman-marry-usa.html

http://christianchat.com/new-christ...-new-i-am-looking-meet-special-woman-usa.html

http://christianchat.com/christian-...eeking-woman-under-30-christian-marriage.html

I'd like to refer the OP to this forum thread.
http://christianchat.com/christian-singles-forum/91055-new-users-read-before-posting.html

Also to those who don't like these types of threads, I understand they are like chum in the water, which invites the little sharkies to nibble with comments of dislike. Regardless, sometimes it's best just to let these threads sink to the bottom by not replying in the first place.
