Every person needs a good motto ..

Do you have a life motto?

"Single and ready for a Pringle!"

Those were just a few I could think of.... What is your life motto?

More often than not, I always seem to find myself asking... myself...

"Who am I, and what was I doing?"

I am still trying to answer that question.

Sure I have one .

Wrong, pizza cost money.

Mine is - you've got to be kidding me!

I seem to use it a lot these days.

OMWord! I am adopting that one!!!

"So, what's next?"

You never know. In five years I might be right where I am. Or I might be a traveling evangelist. Or I might move back up to east TN. Or something I haven't even thought of yet. That's what makes the future so much fun. You never know what's coming until it gets here.


"Enjoy today while you have it, because you'll never see it again."

This does not in any manner contradict my first motto. I am looking forward to the future, but I can still live in today. It is possible to exist in today and not really live in it, which I think is really sad. I like to thoroughly live in today.
Right now, for example, I am eating some kind of carbonara-ish meal I threw together on-the-fly for supper. Delicious!

The best motto for a Christian should have is the one can be read in James 1:25.

Just be sure to call me.

On payday and when it's time to eat.

Affliction is a given, control your reactions to it.
