The words believe , believer , and believing , should be seen as a virus or disease . They are going to take down alot of called out ones .
One of the most foolish things you've ever said on here which is quite a feat.

The above analogy is ridiculous.......

One who exercises faith into the finished work of Christ is BORN AGAIN from above by the HOLY SPIRIT and of incorruptible SEED and SEALED with the HOLY SPIRIT of promise at the moment of belief.......
Don' t just say it , show it in its application without violating God , His word , and His promises . Just like I did in the OP , from the beginning .

Faith and faithing. , Pistis and pisteuo , correctly understood in its application is , " a personal surrender to Him and a life inspired by such surrender ." Two specific and continual actions . One , the continual daily surrendering of our lives to Him . And two , continuously , genuinely , making all our little daily decisions supporting the surrendered life to God . Meaning , we are showing with our actions ( which takes work ) that our life is nolonger ours anymore but His .

In the Greek , they didn't allow pisteuo ( faithing ) to be separated from work or works . But it's not a work or works that has anything to do with trying to replace or better Christs finished work on the cross " Grace " . But somehow , when pisteuo was mistranslated into the English language as believe , believer , and believing , all the sudden " work or works " are no longer allowed to be part of pisteuo in the English . And I say emphatically , it's not works of obedience ! The work is only associated with the Surrendered life , and living a life inspired by such surrender . Submitting a better surrendered life to Him every day .

All this to say I agree with your post garee , in the context presented .
And what people's language they used does not justify their salvation your heart does, that is what God looks at not rather you are using believe or pisteuo or any other languages. God always looks into the language of the heart not of human vocabularies. your trying to make a mountain out of a mole hill.

there are around 6,500 different languages in the world today and God can use every single one of them to communicate with what ever languages a believer speaks.

Well at least I'm saying something , putting my understandings on the table to be tested . Understandings you haven't been able to replace with better ones .

Since I got your attention , here is why it's so difficult to get through to you and others .

Pisteuo , or the application of Faith in God is a verb , an action word . We fulfill hundreds of acts of pisteuo every day that have nothing to do with God . Each one is specific to what we are trying to achieve . As a whole pisteuo is an act , based upon a belief , sustained by confidence . As you can see , belief or believing is a part of the equation , but not the entire equation . So I have to show you how " believing " itself is not pisteuo or faithing , but at the same time it is part of it .

Since the English language has no verb form of Faith like the Greek does , they could only translate a part ,( one third ) of what pisteuo really means . Then as the result of the " partial " translation , the English people took it and made God's Word this object of Faith instead of God Himself .

Pisteuo in relation to God is three specific things that happen .

1 ) A specific act of a continual , daily surrendering of our lives to Him.

2) Based upon a specific belief . That He will accept the continual , genuine , ( not perfect ) surrendered life .

3 sustained by a specific kind of confidence . That we make all our little daily decisions supporting the fact we concider our lives to be His now , not ours .

We trust , that He will regenerate the surrendered life , guide the surrendered life , provide for the surrendered life , keep the surrendered life , hide the surrendered life .

And the Vines also says that this true definition of pisteuo or faithing , must produce a full acknowledgement of God's revelation of truth .

it would seem the word you use, faithing, is the same as working .Seeing faith without works has no spirit life to offer.

As in all cases God our faithful Creator must do the first work. By it as it is written we can love Him because he first loved us.

If we would accredit that first work of him giving us new creatures ears to hear what the Spirit is saying to the churches or denominations to another like in Revelation to a man called Nicole, the leader of the sect called the Nicolaitans. We are then lovingly called to do the first work. "Believe God" not seen and not man seen . We cannot surrender unless he does the first work . In that way faith (believing God) is a work he preforms in us . Faith cannot be separated from His work .

We seem to be close in so much that faith is a work of God . Part of that work is Him turning us so that we can surrender . After all we are informed in Job 23 that he who is of one mind and always does whatsoever his soul pleases .He performs that which is appointed to us .It is he who can make our hearts soft as new creatures . The Job 23 reference agrees with the Philippians 2:12 reference as a imputed righteousness just as the James 2 in respect to Rehab and Abraham . We receive no credit for him making a new creation.

what is the word believer in Japanese Chinese German, Italian etc.. I'll tell you the truth what ever the word is in their languages and they believe with the word they know and is done with their heart it's honored by God.

This stuff is classic extremeist stuff in language meanings, your being used as a puppet and don't even know it.

No we not on the same page . God gives us the ability to respond in Faith or faithe into Him . He doesn't give us Faith or faithing .

I never heard of the word faithing? Is it a new doctrine? he gives us the faith to respond to Him.it is not of ourselves

God our Faithfull and true Creator informs us that natural man has "no faith" none, not little not a spec of it.

Yes he gives us his faith the gift our new faith to hear him and to respond to him. Without his faith no man could respond to him not seen and please Him . By our Faithful and True Creator's faith as a work he said; let and there was and pronounced it was good. Its how we know what is good by him who alone is good

What if some do not believe Him not seen? Will it make his faith that works in others without effect?

His faith informs us God forbid how could we ever let Him not seen be true and not just a g figment of our imagination .

Do you forbid the faith of God that works in the believer to both will and do his good pleasure or do you believe Him ?

For what if some did not believe? shall their unbelief (no faith) make the faith of God without effect? God forbid: yea, let God be true, but every man a liar; as it is written, That thou mightest be justified in thy sayings, and mightest overcome when thou art judged.Roman3:3-4

This is the Greek word for hearing. How you can stretch this word to mean a court hearing is beyond me:

Word: akoh

Pronounce: ak-o-ay'

Strongs Number: G189

Orig: from 191; hearing (the act, the sense or the thing heard):--audience, ear, fame, which ye heard, hearing, preached, report, rumor. G191

Use: TDNT-1:221,34 Noun Feminine

Heb Strong: H8085 H8104

  1. 1) the sense of hearing
    2) the organ of hearing, the ear
    3) the thing heard
    3a) instruction, namely oral
    3a1) of preaching the gospel
    3b) hearsay, report or rumour

The Holy Spirit and not the imaginations of own our sinful heart informs us.The Holy Spirit informs us in Romans 3 no one of their own volition can seek after Him in order to understand Him. We can oas those who have the God given ability to love Him because (cause and affect) he "first loved us" creating in us ear to hear what the Spirit is saying to us. Our first love.

Do the first work turn towards God and believe God as he give you the faith to make it possible.

How many is not one, or none? 0+0 = ?

As it is written, There is none righteous, no, not one: There is none that understandeth, there is none that seeketh after God.Romans 3:10-11

I think we can see His book of the law the Bible is our supernatural hearing aid. One you cannot pick up a Walmart under a blue light special .

Isaiah 29:18 And in that day shall the deaf hear the words of the book, and the eyes of the blind shall see out of obscurity, and out of darkness

Right FGC , this goes along with what Im presenting .

your correct , the natural man can't dicern God's Word , but more importantly , at the start of the Salvation process , because we don't have the Spirit of Christ yet , God ,His word , and His promises , are not ours to claim yet either .

so if " believing " in God's Word isn't what NT pisteuo or saving Faith is , what is ?

well let's take your opinion and my opinion out of the equation , and go to the Greek dictionary.

saving Faith or faithing ( pisteuo ) is according to the Vines : " a personal surrender to Him and a life inspired by such surrender ." It also says " producing a full acknowledgement of God's revelation of truth ."

true saving Faith , " pisteuo " is accually 3 separate and distinct things . And has nothing to do with claiming anything in God's word illegitimately or hey this would even work before God's word was available to the masses before the 1500's .

Bottom line , true Faith and faithing , pistis and pisteuo , can only be in God Himself , the real living person , not in what He did , said , or promises .
Yes, faith is believing, the evidence of things not seen. Faith is also a fruit of the Holy Spirit, which we receive when we are regenerated. We continually increase our faith as we come unto the knowledge of the truth.

Yes it would be impossible to increase something we do not have from birth (no faith) We can plant the incorruptible seed by which men are born again from above with, and water it with the doctrines of God that fall from heaven like rain . But it is Christ alone who can cause the growth if any .

He must increase as we decrease

It why he called the apostles of little faith and not none. They were already given that which he could build on.( His faith that works in us)

We measure faith according to his word the one source. Not by the imagination of our own hearts that are desperately wicked and beyond cure, as in who could know it. One day accuses us the next minute excuses us. God is greater than our sinful hearts. He know all things even the intent of out thoughts dividing between the soul and the spirit.

Deuteronomy 32:19-21 King James Version (KJV) And when the Lord saw it, he abhorred them, because of the provoking of his sons, and of his daughters. And he said, I will hide my face from them, I will see what their end shall be: for they are a very froward generation, children in whom is "no faith". They have moved me to jealousy with that which is not God; they have provoked me to anger with their vanities: and I will move them to jealousy with those which are not a people; I will provoke them to anger with a foolish nation.

I don't know how , but you have the wrong Greek word "akoh , but the right number 189 , that should be akoe .

The Greek is very precise and specific , I'm using the Strongs expanded and it's not me making this understanding up , it's the exact wording used in the Strongs expanded for the Greek word " Akoe " 189 . It says ( compare to a courtroom hearing ) so I did , and it does fly putting us on the judgement seat and Christ on trial .

We're highlighting the very beginning of the Salvation process while still outside of Christ . No , Faith is not believing !

The Strongs gives a disclaimer : pisteuo means " NOT " just to believe .

Faith in its application is an act , based upon a belief , sustained by confidence . A verb an action word , pisteuo in the Greek . Christ can't give us that only the " ability " to do that . The ability is given to some in larger measure when drawn or called out by the Father .

Your understanding is crippled , not by something you've done , but because of pisteuo not correctly translated into the English language . The Strongs and Vines valadates what I'm telling you .

The judgement seat is the seat Christ sat in. He sat in our seat and was declared righteous because of His finished work of Him and the father working together to bring us this peace that surpasses our human understanding .

In that way we have become before the judgment seat. The believer will no come in Judgment .That would be double jeopardy

John 19:13 When Pilate therefore heard that saying, he brought Jesus forth, and sat down in the judgment seat in a place that is called the Pavement, but in the Hebrew, Gabbatha
.
No condemnation in Christ ..not little but none, zero

ohn 5:24Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that heareth my word, and believeth on him that sent me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life.

Romans 8:1 There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.

God gives us a brain , does He think for us ? God gives us eyes , does He see for us ? God gives us legs , does He walk for us ? God gives us lungs , does He breath for us ?

God gives us Faith , " pistis " the noun , WE are the ones who fulfill the act of using that Faith by , " pisteuo " . Every person ever born is either faithing towards God by personally surrendering thier lives to aHim and living a life inspired by such surrender ( pisteuo ) , or faithing away from God , surrendering their lives to something else , and living a life that supports such surrender , ( apisteuo ) .

you are half right it because of pisteuo not being able to correctly be translated into the English language, your missing the right application .
