I suppose these geniuses subtracted all the leap yrs days added, all the months added to the Hebrew calander etc. and for that matter the bits of time that the planet earth fluxiates from year to year because the days are not exactly 365 days each year, sometimes it's longer sometimes it's shorter. the gravitonal anomaly in our solar system and beyond does effect the planet.

You are absolutely correct as a specific number of wise men was not mentioned in the bible, only that 3 gifts were brought to give to baby Jesus.

This was not a typical introduction post. I really don't think any member is going to research an empty commode. Most members realize that it was unlikely that Jesus was born December 25. The exact date of the year of His birth is unknown as well as the year of His birth.

Probably the same amount to figure out how to screw in a lightbulb.

"Empty commode" is simply the reference to the emperor Commodus, which date of death was a starting point of calculation for Clement of Alexandria. It just point to the errors and difficulties for theologian and historians on the way of their attempt to find real date of the Nativity.
