Nobody was talking about 70 a.d. and some clown says "hey read Josephus" out of nowhere, which had nothing to do whatsoever with the thread, and then the circus begins. I promptly handled the situation with a reply, but no, the clowns have to come in and kill the thread. What a joke.

The thread was dead with the topic.

Is there anyone besides a Pharisee in this world that is worth believing? Josephus was a noted historian of his time and is well-respected. No, his accounts are not on the level of scripture but do offer perhaps a valuable perspective on certain events that could be considered.

I read a few during my school years and did not find the accounts to be credible. I have actually read a little of Josephus, especially the section where he mentioned about Jesus performing miracles. He was very much a well-respected writer and historian of his time but even then, as now, there were critics. He mentioned those too.

It has everything to do with what was said....NUMEROUS people on this site peddle that the end came and went in 70 A.D. and they 99% of the time cite Josephus.......so....My point was valid.....Get your facts and accusations straight..........
