I was delivered from tobacco many years ago, got proud and started looking down on those who smoked, yep, took it back up.
The next time He still helped, but it wasn't a complete deliverance. Been free for I don't know how long, 15, 20 years.
God is good and His mercy endures forever.
Blessings
God is indeed good and I am glad that with His help you have been smoke-free for all of these years.

For some reason the Holy Spirit moved me to pray for you less than an hour ago. You are a kind and decent person and certainly are a true spiritual daughter of the Lord. I appreciate who you are as a person very much and pray for God's will and desire to be accomplished in your life. May God continue to bless you on your spiritual journey and your personal relationship with the Lord as you humbly love and serve Him each and every day.
Thank you brother Jerry, that really means alot to me you know. God bless you and Darlene xx

I am trying to quit diet soda again. I have been off of for months at a time, but I always start drinking it again. The thing is I can't just have a little. Once I have some, I drink tons of it. It's also a gateway junk food for me. I was noticing if I go to a vending machine for pop, it's too tempting to get a snack to go along with it.

Drinking water again is a pain if it's been awhile. I have an app for tracking how I drink in a day. I'm already at my limit, and I am only 50% of the way to my goal. lol.

My wife insists that I drink water. Personally, water is kind of boring so I started drinking bottled Perrier water. It is extremely fizzy and refreshing. Love the stuff. I like Gatorade too but lately I have been on a pop kick for some reason. Just recently finished a 12 pack of Throw-back Mountain Dew. It tastes better made with sugar than high fructose corn syrup. Before that it was Orange Crush, and before that Squirt. Made from the best stuff on earth.

Stuff with real sugar tastes pretty good. I can't drink anything with high fructose corn syrup anymore. It tastes rotten to me or, like it has expired. I'm trying to avoid anything with sugar, though. I do drink the occasional Zevia when I avoiding diet soda. Those are fairly tasty without being addictive like other sodas.

I've been drinking some Propel with electrolytes lately. Keto tends to deplete those. Any sort of fizzy water is pretty good, too. I like Perrier, La Croix and all those, but I have looking for generics or cheaper brands, too. sparkling water can be more expensive than pop.

I drink water with lemon or lime juice in it. Seems to help with indigestion.

I read an article recently that said that a lot of people who suffer from indigestion have reduced stomach acid (not too much) in which case a lot of persons taking antacids are actually making their problem worse, not better.

Sparkling water is indeed expensive and that is why I don't drink it everyday. We buy it at Costco when it goes on sale.

I wonder if lemonade or limeade would work as well. I think I'm going to buy a 12 pack of Minute Maid Lemonade as it has been awhile since I have had any. I love squeezing lemons and limes in preparing various dishes such as beef or chicken. Sometimes I use the zest also.

I am an awful house cleaner and tend to be absent minded.

Both is because I live in my own little world most of the time. Reality can be depressing and in my world everyone knows God and loves on another. It makes m smile when this becomes reality and weep when the world falls short.

The houscleaning bit...I just don't notice the dust and dirt accumulate because I am thinking of other things. Then someone will say something about cleaning or I will read a Bible verse. Then I will look around and wonder, when did my house become so messy? I try and clean at least once a week (vacuum, mop, dust, etc) but truthfully it's more like once a month.

I love 7-Up. Crisp and clean - no caffeine. Of course, I'm a caffeine addict so it becomes a bit problematic. Why is everything so complicated?
Maybe a cup of coffee with a glass of 7-up?
I often do this.

Even at once a month it is probably more that a lot of people do in regards to housework. As far as the world is concerned it is best to not depend on the world for even most basic things but make your request known to God.
