You can see a brief history of the Babylonian religion and how the other religions branched from it here. Starting at 28:57

The woman riding the beast represents the Babylonian religion which has endured since the time of Nimrod up until this time. Every religion of the world apart from Christianity are denominations of the Babylonian mystery religion. She is riding a beast with 7 heads. The first head represents the kingdom of Babylon. The second head (i presume) represents Persia. The third, fourth, fifth and sixth heads represent Rome. And the seventh head represents a kingdom of our generation. So, if she is riding a beast that represents kingdoms that spans from the time of Nebuchadnezzar (King of Babylon) until now, then she has existed since the time of Babylon until now. And has guided each of those world powers as they have come and gone through the various religions that they have followed, which stem from her.

Greetings kaijo, Seems like a good time to remind everyone that the Greek word which the English translators called "church" is ;

G1577
ἐκκλησία
ekklēsia
ek-klay-see'-ah
From a compound of G1537 and a derivative of G2564; a calling out,

It is for everyone to determine what they are "called out" from. The "world", "the churches" or both!

I don't remember a woman riding any of the four beast in Daniel where do you see this Scripture?

kaijo, Do you see the MERGER between "Christianity" and the "Babylonian" religion during the time of Constantine? Wasn't this the essence of the "Protestant Reformation" during the time of Martin Luther? Haven't many of the Christian-Protestant sects realigned with the "Papacy" making them essentially a reemergence of the pre Protestant reformation Babylonian pagan religions?

Do you not know that the 4 beasts in Daniel and the beast with 7 heads in Revelation are the same thing, just shown in a different way? Both of which are also the statue of gold, silver, bronze and iron in Daniel which is also shown in a different way.

Of course. I can agree with that. But when i say 'Christianity' i mean whatever it is that would be considered 'True' Christianity. And not the paganized denominations.

Nor do i see a woman riding the statue either. You need to be able to think more critically than that, and not so Linear, if you intend to decipher prophecy.

lol, well sure I do,,,it's the "shown in a different way" portion where no woman is riding the beast in Daniel but in Revelation she's being carried by the scarlet colored beast I'm asking about,,,

Well that's probably because the emphasis in Daniel is not on the religious/spiritual aspect of the 4 kingdoms (i.e the woman in Revelation). Hence they are shown as 4 separate entities in Daniel. Would be pretty difficult to show one woman riding 4 separate beasts at the same time.

Or it could mean that the beast that was,was not yet is as the angel said was at a later time after Revelation 17 to ascend out of the pit, and that the ten horns had not yet recieved an kingdom as yet as the angel said and so she isnt being carried by the beast of Daniel until then.

First of all, we know that 7 heads of the beast in Revelation 17 are the very same heads of the 4 beasts in Daniel 7.

-The First beast in Daniel 7 has a lions head which is also the first head of the beast in Reveation 17.
-The Second beast in Daniel 7 has a bears head which is also the second head of the beast in Revelation 17.
-The Third beast in Daniel 7 has 4 leopard heads which are also the third to sixth heads of the beast in Revelation 17.
-The Fourth beast in Daniel 7 "was diverse from all the beasts that were before it; and it had ten horns" which is also the seventh head of the beast in Revelation 17.

We also know that the First beast represents Nebuchadnezzar AND his kingdom Babylon. How do we know this? Compare Daniel 7:4 with Daniel 4:32-37
-------------------------
Daniel 7:4:
"The first was like a lion, and had eagle's wings: I beheld till the wings thereof were plucked, and it was lifted up from the earth, and made stand upon the feet as a man, and a man's heart was given to it."
-------------------------
Daniel 4:32-37:
32 And they shall drive thee from men, and thy dwelling shall be with the beasts of the field: they shall make thee to eat grass as oxen, and seven times shall pass over thee, until thou know that the most High ruleth in the kingdom of men, and giveth it to whomsoever he will.

33 The same hour was the thing fulfilled upon Nebuchadnezzar: and he was driven from men, and did eat grass as oxen, and his body was wet with the dew of heaven, till his hairs were grown like eagles' feathers, and his nails like birds' claws.

34 And at the end of the days I Nebuchadnezzar lifted up mine eyes unto heaven, and mine understanding returned unto me, and I blessed the most High, and I praised and honoured him that liveth for ever, whose dominion is an everlasting dominion, and his kingdom is from generation to generation:

35 And all the inhabitants of the earth are reputed as nothing: and he doeth according to his will in the army of heaven, and among the inhabitants of the earth: and none can stay his hand, or say unto him, What doest thou?

36 At the same time my reason returned unto me; and for the glory of my kingdom, mine honour and brightness returned unto me; and my counsellors and my lords sought unto me; and I was established in my kingdom, and excellent majesty was added unto me.

37 Now I Nebuchadnezzar praise and extol and honour the King of heaven, all whose works are truth, and his ways judgment: and those that walk in pride he is able to abase.
-------------------------
Notice in Daniel 4:33 that Nebuchadnezzar's hairs were "grown like eagles' feathers" due to having become as a beast on all fours eating grass for a period of "seven times".

And notice how from Daniel 4:34 Nebuchadnezzar is given back his sanity after the "seven times" have expired, so that he is no longer on all fours but is, in a sense, "lifted up from the earth" so that he is able to "stand upon the feet as a man" once again. Essentially now being able to clean/tidy himself which would naturally include "plucking" the hairs of his which had "grown like eagles' feathers".

Notice also how in Daniel 4:34-37 we can see that "a man's heart" is given to Nebuchadnezzar after enduring life as a beast for a span of "seven times".

So, including what is written about the head of gold portion of the statue, we can confirm that the first of the four beasts (and the first head of the 7 headed beast of Revelation) is Babylon.

What else do we know about the 7 heads of the beast of Revelation in regards to what each represents?
Consider Revelation 17:10

Revelation 17:10
"And there are seven kings: five are fallen, and one is, and the other is not yet come; and when he cometh, he must continue a short space."

Notice that the angel says to John "and one is". And also that "five are fallen". So what can we conclude from that information? We can conclude that John is currently living during the reign of the Sixth head, because "five have fallen". Now, who is the world power during Johns lifetime? Well its Rome right? So then lets count the heads to see which of the four beasts the sixth head lands on:

Head 1 = lion
Head 2 = bear
Head 3 = Leopard 1
Head 4 = Leopard 2
Head 5 = Leopard 3
Head 6 = Leopard 4 <-----

So therefore we know that John is alive during the reign of the 4th Leopard head, which MUST be Rome. So what does that mean for the 3 previous Leopard heads? Well they are of the same Leopard Beast, so the Leopard must represent 4 eras of the Roman Empire in some form.

We also know that the 4th beast in Daniel 7, whos head also represents the 7th head of the beast in Revelation 17, is "diverse from all the beasts that were before it" as stated in Daniel 7:7 and that it "is not yet come" (from Johns perspective). So it becomes quite clear that the fourth beast of Daniel 7, (i.e 7th head of the Beast of Revelation 17) is Not Rome, as many others tend to believe. It is entirely "diverse from all the beasts that were before it". It is not part of the Leopard beast.

So therefore we can conclude that the beast of Revelation 17 spans from the time of Babylon until this present time, and not "at a later time after Revelation 17".

We also know that its the fourth beast (i.e 7th head in Revelation 17) that has the 10 horns as stated in Daniel 7:7. And we know that the 7th head of Revelation 17 was "not yet come" (from Johns perspective). It is a world power beyond Johns time. It is yet to come. But that in no way indicates that the woman riding the beast of Revelation 17 has not yet come. Because the whole purpose of showing her riding the beast with 7 heads in Revelation 17 (which represent the world powers spaning from Babylon until now) is to show that she has guided/controlled those world powers via the various forms of Babylonian religions that each world power has worshipped during their lifetimes. Much like a horse rider guides/controls his/her horse.

Im sure a graphic artist might be able to depict these beasts in such a way that for those of us who are biblically challenged, could easily grasp.

I confess because Im reading from 21st century remove, and dont live anywhere near the environs of Jerusalem and or Babylon, its hard to picture what the Bible means by what is yet to come, and even the kingdoms...is it talking about the isrealite kingdom, or the many kingdoms of the world, or..as modern day observers call the rulers or leaders of their nations, because many monarchies over the years have toppled and now people elect their leaders not by heridity anymore.

No institution has been around from the time of Babylon to the Present Day.

There are different beasts, each one is temporary. A beast rises, reigns, declines and gives way to the next beast.

In OT times there was one beast at a time.
Post NT there is prophesied that a new strategy will be established by Satan. That There will be two beasts at a time (State and Church)

My feeling is that After the 1st and 2nd beast of Revelation the bible stops specifically numbering the beasts and just refers to all of them as the beast and the whore of babylon (false prophet).

Just like in Deuteronomy 18 we are told that after Moses God will raise Israel another prophet. But this isn't to be interpreted ultra-literally as God saying he will just send one more prophet and that is it. As we know God had raised up a number of prophets oftentimes one after the other in a succession.
Likewise, the Man of Lawlessness isn't to be interpreted ultra-literally as God allowing just one single man of Lawlessness, but that there could or will be a succession of them.

QUESTION:
Does Daniel and Revelation basically cover and reiterate the same times and events?
Or
Is Revelation more-or-less a succession of where Daniel left off?

Greetings Nebuchadnezzer,

Interesting points. I would like to point out that in Deut 18 Moses spoke specifically:

(Deu 18:15) The LORD thy God will raise up unto thee a Prophet from the midst of thee, of thy brethren, like unto me; unto him ye shall hearken;

So, this prophet is both like Moses and the people will listen to Him. Sadly, very few of the prophets ever had any success in gathering a following. I don't think this scripture helps your point.

But, I agree there are a succession of "Heads" to what is essentially "One" Beast system"". As the System grew new heads desired the "glory" of running it. If we were to call the US a Beast Nation we could say that we are a beast with 44 heads!

As far as the man of lawlessness being revealed. Have you ever considered that the "man of lawlessness" to be revealed is similar to e the revealing of the "sons of God"? Perhaps the "man of lawlessness" is a large number of likeminded of people in collaboration to promote lawlessness, or do evil. Any thoughts?

If you watch the portion of the video i posted above you will see that Babylonian religion has existed since the time of Babylon until now. Its not an established institution. Its an ideology.

Both Daniel and Revelation cover portions of the same events. But not all of the same events. They are there to compliment each other so that a full picture of events might be made.

For example you can see in both Daniel and Revelation:
- When the Abomination of Desolation is set up.
- When Jesus returns.

There is also a major event between these two events. Yet when you compare this certain major event with each other in the 2 books they are described in a totally different manner, and different amount of detail. But according to logic you Know that they must be the same 2 two events.

QUESTION:
Which event am i talking about? And how is it described in both books?

The United States of America = the beast “now is not” [Rev 17:8]
------------------------------------------
Beast = STATE
False Prophet = CHURCH

Since the legalization and controlling of Chrisitanity by the Roman Empire around 325AD you have had STATE and CHURCH. This strategy of Satan's was disrupted by the Protestant Reformation and the formation of the greatest country this world has ever seen: The United States of America.

USA gave us separation of CHURCH and STATE. Aka the beast “now is not”.
The formation, the extraordinary growth, and dominance of the United States as #1 superpower keeps the beast as not.

Each time the beast has tried to rise again i.e. Germany (Hitler), the USSR (Stalin)... but each time the beast was put down – put down by the USA. During this time (1800s – 2000s) the false Prophet (Roman Church) changed its tactics, it stopped the inquisition, it created the vatican, became very rich, and spread itself across the globe (across many waters). During this time The Roman Church morphed into the Whore of Babylon. At our current time the whore (Roman Church) is riding on the beast that “now is not”.

But the USA is and has been in decline and China continues its rise. We see that China epitomizes STATE and CHURCH (aka government controlled Christianity, which is no Christianity at all). We see the Roman Church supporting the immigrant invasion (attack) of USA. We see the Roman Church (false prophet) beginning to cozy with China (beast)... Will the continual rise of China and the decline of the USA (and by default western democracy) be the beast that "yet will come" [Rev 17:8]?

We live in a time where the beast "now is not” [Rev 17:8]. How blessed we are, but we do not realize!

How then is this ideology rich with wealth?

If

For example you can see in both Daniel and Revelation:
- When the Abomination of Desolation is set up.
Yes, Jesus Foretells Destruction of Jerusalem ~70AD
Luke 21:20 Jesus talks of the desolation that will fall on Jerusalem, which is the same desolation predicted by Daniel. This is the tribulation that occurred in the first Roman-Jewish War. During this 7 yr war/tribulation 144,000 from the 12tribes were saved from it. This is the overlap between Daniel and Revelation.

If it is an idealogy then how is she so wealthy? [Rev 18:17]

For example you can see in both Daniel and Revelation:
- When the Abomination of Desolation is set up.
Jesus foretold of the destruction of Jersalum 70AD
Luke 21:20 Jesus talks of the desolation that will come on Jersulam. This is the same desolation that Daniel prophesized.
This is the 7 yr tribulation , the 1st Roman-Jewish War where temple destroyed, sacrifices ended, and 144,000 from the 12 tribes were saved.
This is where daniel leaves off and Revelation starts 1st century AD.
