They actually did!! Isn't that amazing! :D

I know, I know .... when God led me to dig and research I was shocked..but there you go what seemed implausible looked very plausible....70 AD was the definitive end of the age.

Cool eh, Jesus comes to us with His own Temple now.
What concerns us here and now is: when is the end of THIS age.
Are you implying that the Scripture is silent on the matter?

The way I see it, amillennialism and preterism has far far too many loose ends, quandaries, non-sequiturs, gaps, conflicts and dilemmas to be viable. So many so as to relegate those theories to the category of the absurd.

How about Dan 12:2?

"And many of those who sleep in the dust of the earth shall awake, some to everlasting life, and some to shame and everlasting contempt."
I really have only been focussing on the Olivet Discourse but I assume Daniel 12 in its entirety needs to be considered too

How does that link in with Amillennialism?

Well I can only deal with one item at a time, and I am figuring it out as I go, now if it does not work, and God does not reveal it to me as I go along I will go back to how I was before....NO view on eschatology .... it actually works quite well:)

Is that the Pan-Millennialist view, where it all pans out in the end? LOL

Matt 19
"And Jesus said to them, “Truly I say to you, that you who have followed Me, in the regeneration when the Son of Man will sit on His glorious throne, you also shall sit upon twelve thrones, judging the twelve tribes of Israel. "

Matt 25
“But when the Son of Man comes in His glory, and all the angels with Him, then He will sit on His glorious throne. "

Honestly, I think those two scriptures alone settle the matter.

Perfect, yes that works!! Thanks:)
Outside the camps,,,,lol It's a lonely place at first. It made me feel like a type of reverse fear because when I was in a camp I would always need to be careful about what I said because I might say something that would give the competition the advantage against the camp and I would be scorned. In it though if you think about it that means I was reluctant to say what I actually thought about certain Scriptures and was just saying things to defend my camp irregardless to what I thought Scripture was saying. It was a lonely place at first but then I could just look at those Scriptures and say what I thought and then it was really comfortable.

It makes no difference really but since you ask if in the Scriptures it states that a prophet would be made known by if the things he said came to pass then he was and if the things he said did not he was false then it is a no brainer,,,just say what the Scriptures say because they will come to pass. Some things that you say came to pass then did,the err is to assume everything did,,mark, image ect....

How does that link in with Amillennialism?

I would think it refers to the phrase the "last day" or the "day of the Lord" the end of time used in John 6 times .The day of the ressurection of those asleep in Christ and those remaining here simultaneously meeting together in the power of His Spirit. They will have received the promised new bodies and in the same twinkling of the eye, like a thief in the night the second death will be raised and thrown into the lake of fire the second death never to rise to new spirt life ever again .

John 11:24Martha saith unto him, I know that he shall rise again in the resurrection at the last day.

John 12:48He that rejecteth me, and receiveth not my words, hath one that judgeth him: the word that I have spoken, the same shall judge him in the last day.

I would offer. One throne, the throne of God. Not one for the Father, separate from the Son of God, as two thrones.

Seeing we are commanded to not think of God as a man as us(creation) . When the Son of man, Jesus left, he left clear instructions (2 Corinthians 5:16) we are not to know him that way anymore forever more even though a few did . It does not change the fact we must walk by faith. When God comes in the power of the Son of man (not as the Son of man) the power of Holy Spirit of God, in the twinkling of the eye like a thief in the night the end will come..

The idea of Him appearing in the flesh as that seen the temporal for another demonstration of the unseen work of the peace of God. . . that surpasses our understanding (the father and Son working together Isaiah 53) is not a biblical teaching from what I understand.

So what is to become of redeemed Christians in this age? Will there be no end of the Church age?
A Christian either dies and goes to be with the Lord or if still alive at Christs coming made immortal. Paul told the thessalonians
this because they were concerned about loved ones who had died would miss the Lords coming. He said that Christ would bring with him those who had fallen asleep. He also said in another place that he found it hard to say whether he would rather be with the Lord or remain and continue his work.

No I'm not. If you read my post properly I am saying that the the Prophecies of Daniel and of Jesus cover two different periods that are combined in the respective texts. Daniels prophecy looks forward from his time to the Greeks and to the last days. Jesus in Matthew 24
points to the events concerning Antiochus in Daniel as part of his prophecy regarding both what was to happen in in 70AD and the the events concerning the final antichrist in the last days. Antiochus set up a statue of Zeus in the Temple and sacrificed a Sow on the altar.
Yes, And if we look and I remember right

Both were called little horns (daniel 8 spoke of Antiochus epiphanies) (daniel 7 spoke of the little horn who grew out of the ten, which refers to the prince who is to come or the beast of revelation 13)

And both were said to commit an abomination which caused desolation (the hebrew term which means to place an idol or unclean thing in a holy place rendering it unclean, or desolate.

The first one cause the maccabean revolt.

The second one will be a warning which will be followed by the great tribulation, or time of Jacobs trouble

There is a resurrection for the saved and another for those who are not saved. If you belong to the body of Christ you already have eternal life because Christ lives in you. Those who are Christs will be rewarded according to their works. The matter of salvation is settled as soon as we are born again.

Well either the Olivet Discourse holds as a unit or it does not .... now some argue that Jesus went from the "this generation" and at some point begins to speak to the far future....however I do not see it and the person refused to tell me
