I'm about the same online and offline. What you see here is what to expect on the outside. No perceptible difference.

I am probably way too transparent with everyone, lol. I respect and honored when ppl open up with me too.
I feel the same way. Allowing yourself to become vulnerable to another is sort of like an act of trust.

Exactly, brother, it is a priviledge and an honor for sure because it does make you more vulnerable. The true friends/family never uses that against ya, right? I think it is so important to be a safe place to go.

We must take some risks in interpersonal relationships, but they should be measured risks.

A lot 🤣🤣 When I was young I sorta made it a point to try and be “the same me” as best I could no matter if I was at church, school, ect.

I am very candid about my likes and dislikes, my convictions, and my inner workings. If you ask me that is (hopefully). I can at times share a bit too much, but not embarrassingly so. I’m the kind of person that will post my immediate feelings on Twitter but keep my more controversial opinions to myself. That being said, over time I’ve learned the need for tact and gracious silence when need be.

I speak very bluntly about anything I am asked about, but I don't naturally reveal much of myself, especially in person. When I was younger, I suppose I was a bit shy, but as I've gotten older I don't really uncomfortable at all around others. Stoic and introverted, generally task based. At 16personalities.com I scored 68% for thinking over feeling.

Overall, I'd say I'm quite transparent in y responses, but I'm not very easy to get to know. Perhaps others here would be interested in taking said personality test and compare results.

I have a habit of oversharing. Then sometimes regretting it later. As you may have guessed I use sharing online as a kind of self therapy. Better you know my sins first, then be pleasantly surprised that I have some redeeming qualities. Still there are some sins that are uncool to share with anyone.

I like that personality test thing. I got the INFP-A / INFP-T, a mediator I guess. More of the feeling based than thinking.

I got an INTJ, an Architect. Interestingly, my mother and father were on the emotional side, whilst my sister and I were the same type.

Well I looked in the mirror this morning and saw right through myself and could see the wall behind me. :)

Seriously, I try to be transparent. I sometimes think that I tend to put out what I think my faults are more so I don't present a better picture of what I think I am. But as in another thread got me to thinking, there is more to me than just the negative or bad.
Also, I tend to not get into controversial subject too much in a group. I will open up more in a one to one setting much more. Maybe that's something to work on.
