I was, for 60 years, a conservative fundamentamist Christian, like you.The Word of God proclaims His awesome love for every soul and His plan to accomplish His purpose. The promise and purpose of God is to bring all things to unity with Himself through and to the glory of His son, Jesus Christ. God is love, He is merciful, forgiving and kind. If your beliefs are in eternal hell, damnation, you are ignoring the truth about your God.





Christians often when asked profess our belief saying, “I believe in the Bible.” or “ “I believe in God.” or “ I believe in Jesus.” Such confessions are good and important, but they only require a yes or no response. Believing in the Bible is an acknowledgement of its existence as the Word of God. But, believing the Bible is much more important. The soul who believes in the Word of God may use it to prove what he or she already believes. The soul that believes the Bible is likely one who turns to it for increased knowledge and understanding beyond his or her present knowledge and understanding with a willingness to accept its truth. The soul that believes the Word of God seeks truth not proof. In order for a soul to accept the truth it is necessary for that soul to believe the God who gave it. Through His word our God has given us a description of himself that must be understood and in harmony with the truth about Him.

Are there any who believe in what is called Universal Salvation? I hate to disappoint you, but there is ZERO support in the Bible for such a doctrine.

"Then said one unto him, Lord, are there few that be saved? And he said unto them, Strive to enter in at the strait gate: for many, I say unto you, will seek to enter in, and shall not be able. " Luke 13:23-24

We have many "designer" Jesuses today. DIY and "Save". But as the OP says, few there be that find it.

How many believe the wicked will be destroyed? Many believe the unsaved will be consciously tormented and tortured for an eternity... by a loving, just, and merciful God Who (according to staunch Calvinists) did not even call all to Him to be allowed to make a choice for which that failure earns them such a punishment.

Seems like if the OP was no longer a member the status would be listed as 'Guest". Regardless, the topic of the OP is still relevant.

They have not posted for a while but they are not a guest nor banned, so it would seem hey can return as an active member at will. Saying they are no longer a member simply because they have been inactive/signed in for a while does not even necessarily mean they have not been present. Profile not being available for viewing can mean it was set to private.

I know a few people who were not given the "banned" but had privileges revoked (user's profile no longer available) and came back using a different email address.
